Hello All, I didn't know where to look for an answer, so I hope Admin. will allow this. Airac1310 has changed the Runways for Calgary CYYC i.e. RW10 is now RW11. Using Airport FacilitatorX I changedRW10 to 11 which is shown in FSMap, however when using FSX interface and selecting airports CYYC still shows RW10 but when selecting this, the runway threshold shows RW11. Can anyone explain how this can be rectified. Many Thanks. Richard Welsh.

I'm sure the above question has been asked many times, and I'm wondering if the developer has given an official response. They key strokes are not reliable for opening the doors.

I'm currently using Windows 8. I have a Windows 7 Home Premium Disc right here on my shelve. How difficult would it be to change my Operating system ? Have a WD External Hard Drive , would I need to do anything with that ? Thanks

Hey folks, Just a bit of curiosity here - to my surprise, I have been getting more and more into tubeliners lately after years of single/twin-engine (piston and turboprop), GA, short-hop commercial and bush flying, with my weapon of choice being the QW757. This post will be useful to siimmers who want or plan to build a new rig. So, I really want to know how many FPS you get in this exact situation. If you use tweaked DX10 with Steve's fixer, that's fine, post your FPS, good for comparison! I'm using FTX Global and REX textures. FSX.CFG - I don't use any bufferpool tweaks, only AffinityMask=14, HIGHMEMFIX=1, TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD=1024, and WideViewAspect=True. Hi! I just installed the latest build, but there are no updated WX in FSX. The FSXServer only states updating, but nothing happens. There is contact, because I get the OPUS popup's inside FS, and it worked fine yesterday. Anyone?

Hi, Whenever & go to Weather option to check I find the option stuck in User-Defined Weather, no matter how I change it it go back I its stuck there & there absolutely no way to change, am using AS2012 & it has absolutely no influence to the weather, tried to reset my FSX.cfg as well as all options with no positive result. Am afraid that I have to resinstall FSX & at the end I will face the same issue again, cant Fly this way at all. I wish someone can help me to solve this issue. Thank you. Arslan

Firstly,I must state that this OPUS weather engine is brilliant and I have experienced no major issues until the past couple of days. When I click on the weather reports and it states for example' Local Area Weather report'-scattered cloud at 1400 feet and scattered at 3000 feet when looking down there are no low lying clouds at all and therefore differs with the weather report. I am currently flying from Gatwick to Iceland and passing over Scotland where in the real world there is currently a large amount of rainfall occurring and yet apart from the upper atmosphere clouds there is clear visibility of the ground with no clouds below apparent. I was Airbus fan for 2 years, flying only A320/321. Yesterday I finally bought QW 757 after a year of prolonging, and I love it. And ofcourse I love it because I flew in PA 320 for a year. Now I'm in "transition altitude", switching to Boeing, getting used to different cockpit layout, AP, etc. And that brings me to this: Airbus vs. Boeing! Ok, let me start: Airbus - very good for beginners, more automated systems, less buttons and switches, generally learning curve in Airbus is shorter than in Boeing. Also, Airbus cockpits are better organised, buttons/switches are easier to find, AP management is easier than in Boeing. One thing that I will miss is cockpit visibi…

I was curious to know what stratus layer is used to cap off the fog layers. I know it was said that from above, you can see through the fog, but I still can't wrap my head around that. I want to have an overcast layer topping off my fog. Better yet can you use one of the cirrus textures instead? Where was a certain freeware weather engine that did this and the effect was acceptable to me. Thoughts?

Hi all, I've just recieved an email from MSE saying that they are releasing Switzerland, their first non-US scenery on 1st October 2013. Nothing on their website yet, but I expect something will be on there by the end of the day.

I saw a post yesterday where someone said that they were thinking of buying PFPX purely to "save flight plans in the PMDG formats" to save time. I therefore thought I'd post to mention in case anyone did not know, that you can in fact save flight plans for the PMDG aircraft (NGX and 777), that can be loaded directly from the FMC -for FREE! * I have not included the MD-11 in the above list because it can load default FSX flight plans. Hey fellas - I just purchased and installed the RxP 530 in my Lancair using RealAir's config pgm. All went well until I tried to click on the lower right small knob to select the cursor. No go. When I mouse-click on that knob all I can get it to do is turn. I've made sure I'm far enough back to see the tip of the knob so I believe my view point is not too close. I've tried to activate the cursor with the unit on the cockpit panel and also bringing up the pop-up window, neither works. Today I installed two new sceneries from ImagineSim VIDP and VABB from Thai. When I made my first landing at night at VIDP I had all my runways normally lit BUT no taxiway lights and no lighting in the surrounding areas either (houses, various nuildings). I thought something went wrong with my installation, uninstalled the scenery and reinstalled, went again to VIDP at night and this time all lights were on EXCEPT the runways!!! This is when I also discovered that I lost my runway lighting on FSX even on stock airports. Yesterday evening I made a flight from KFLL to KIAD at night and all my lightings were normal. I have recently purchased and installed Madeira X Scenery I have had a few problems first was the scenery that is now sorted The biggest problem is that no AI Aircraft appear to land despite watching for some time as it is a small airport ( I use My Traffic 2013 also Vox ATC ) You can only watch aircraft take off from runway 5 scenery is excellent.
