Hi can someone remind the name of the app that shows only the arrival ai traffic at your destination airport. For example you choose egkk and the ai aircraft shows up at egkk and no where else. Thanks

I bought a copy of the QW 757 yesterday so that I could help a new simmer learn to fly it---I am not at all knowledgeable about QW--just needed the plane so that I could learn it and teach the systems to my friend---BUT--today when I went back to download a Delta Livery for him00lo and behold noe quality web site shows up---is this some funky outfit that I got myself mixed up with?---can anybody fill me in? No matter which weather setting I choose under Weather Themes in FSX i get polluted air. I can choose clear skies, and I also get scattered clouds. I have opus as the weather engine. I also checked REX 4 , but don't think that's the problem. Is there a simple way to disconnect OPUS without un-installing ?

Hey! Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, I'm new here . I absolutely love a plane type. The old twin prop, with a split tail. I think it looks really cool. I'm talking about planes like the Lockheed model 10, 12 & 14 and the Beechcraft D 18. Sadly, I can't seem to find any good addons for it. Does anyone of you know of any of good quality?

Hi, I am not new to FS, but left it 10 years ago:) , now I want to take it with best addons. after spending lots of time, I am really confused about which type of addon should I use? GEX , FTX, FS GLOBAL ACTIVE SKY, FEX, REX AES , GSX, MY Traffic FS Commander, AeroSoft PFPX , FSMAP I all searched them and learned what are they, but not sure which one conflicts each other? I dont want to buy conflicting products. Anyone can help? Thanks

I am running FSX Acceleration. After installing and uninstalling the GrenadaX package which apparently makes changes to your LWcfg.xml file, I am now getting an error. After uninstalling that scenery package I am now getting this msg, "Living World settings in LWcfg.xml are invalid. Please delete LWcfg.xml from your hidden user profile directory." Does anyone running Acceleration have a default LWcfg.xml files that is found at the following directory: "users/username/app data/roaming/microsoft/ fsx" ? Can someone please send me the default file so I can contiunue to use FSX at blauelini [at] gmail [dot] com. Thank you

Sorry if this has been asked a hundred times, but I've been searching for two days now and can't find an answer. Is there any software (SImConnect, FSUIPC, WideFS) that will allow me to put the ATC window and GPS window on a remote computer? I'm using Panel Builder with a spare monitor on a networked laptop, but that gives me the laptop's native screen to use for some real estate. I would love to move these two things to that screen. Freeware, payware, whatever, I just need a solution!

I downloaded the TDS 737-800 to give it a try, but it seems to take forever to take off. I ran into the same issue with the 787 from TDS. Is there an issue with there models or am i missing something. Also what is a good payware scenery for KMIA/KEWR. I saw Drzewiecki came out with a NYC airports scenery, but i heard its very hard on FPS.

Hello this is my first post to get some help from all you knowlegable people! I have just built a new PC I5 4670K Nvidia 560TI and 4GB ram with an SSD. It is running FSX very well and I am happy with my FPS however I am having a problem with autogen and sometimes textures jumping about/flashing or just disapearing then appearing? Any ideas? I have not done much with inspector I am running AA in FSX and FSX Filtering but I find it looks sort of grainy if I turn that off and use inspector? would that stop the flashing though or is it something else? Hi guys, I sent a note to alabeo support, but having gotten no answer, thought I would also ask here.. I recently purchased this beautiful old cessna C-195 businesssliner. Screenies were beautiful and I generally like Alabeo quality visuals. having said that, i was very disappointed to see that this aircraft is see through on the cockpit panel and most of the fuselage. I did an archive look up and found old notes that said that install of SP1 and 2 would fix, this but I have FSX and acceleration. my read is that if you have acceleration installed on top of FSX, do NOT install SP1 and SP2? Has anyone had experience with this airplane and this problem? Also i…

I need to install FSX on a new PC. I expect that I will get a failure when I try to activate on the new machine. Is there a way to deactivate first? I expect that I will spend a lot of frustrating time if I install, try to activate, then have a failure. Anybody else dealt with this?

This is probably a needle in a haystack question. When I first started FSX a couple of years back , I remember flying an Airport that you could only approach and take off from one direction as the other way there was high mountains, in fact the direction you take off also had hills , just not so high. I thought it was Anchorage, something like that, but having looked at the airfields in the sim with this name in Alaska they dont appear familar , it was certainly in either Canada or the USA, I also think a copy of PC pilot may of featured it in the challenging airports section. I must of stumbled on it by accident perhaps as I cant find it in the default missions.…

Hi there everyone, I'm mostly a virtual GA pilot, usually flying single-engine aircraft and the occasional twin. However, every once in a while I get the urge to fly something bigger - not a 747, but rather a small airliner. However, I've been browsing for hours and am simply overwhelmed by all the possibilites. So I'm looking for something that has a realistic flight model and not over-complicated systems that require hours to start up. I'm open to any suggestions, freeware or payware, as long as it's priced within reason. Not looking for hyper-realistic systems simulations, so I'd prefer not to pay PMDG level prices if there are other good choices around. I …

Hello... I have created the FP in the FMS... AP selected and LNAV engaged, but the RTE is not showing on the PFD.. In fact, the AC wants t go another way... I find I have to HDG towards each waypoint using FSC or EFB.... Thanks! Mark

Hi guys, I am wondering what is the best scenery package (mesh and/or LC and/or texture) for Italy. I currently have "ORBX FTX Global Base" and "ORBX FTX Global Vector", with "FS Global 2010" mesh. So I am looking for something (payware is OK) compatible with those... Any suggestion/review? I am particularly interested in the Western Alps region (Valle d'Aosta) and Tuscany. Many thanks!

Hey I successfully installed FSX Deluxe, so I goes to install SP1 and I get this error."Error 1402. Could not open key:UNKNOW\Components\*******million numbers******I did a couple reinstalls, nothing. I did a manual registry delete and used a freeware program to "clean" after an unistall. I've restarted my computer and I've also done ALL of the google.com searching I could find and I still can't get ride of this problem. Any ideas?Ron Hamilton

Can anyone advise me of their experience of how good or realistic thermals are in ASN? I'd particularly be interested to hear from real glider pilots. How do they compare with CumulusX ones? I have just downloaded it and had a quick fly around our local gliding club yesterday in "live" mode but didnt find any however the "real" gliders were finding some though admittedly not very strong ones! How does ASN and cumulusX combine? are any special settings required? Any help appreciated! Thanks

I have been reading all the stuff about windows 8 and FSX. I have 8.1 and FSX runs great. I loaded the ESDG citation x 2.0 and it seemed to work great too. I flew it from KTUS to KSNA and back and it did just fine. Made a preset loaded flight for it, that worked fine. Then one time I loaded the aircraft, had it up and running, and went to load Opus weather. Ever since then I can't get this aircraft to work, it won't even load. I deleted it, re-installed it still nothing. FSX and Opus work fine with jet installed or uninstalled, this problem only happens when I tried to load the citation x.
