I am using PM's CDU. When I file a flight plan I can go to the LEGS page but the "NEXT PAGE" button does not turn the page. The next page flashes up for a second but stays on page one. Also how do I enable a step button so I can scroll through each waypoint?

So my problem (if you can call it that) is basically that Orbx made their regions too darn good, and now the rest of the world seems pretty blah to me. Some folks who share my view have just resigned to fly solely within the Orbx regions, but I really want to fly in the other part of North America that I'm familiar with in real life -- specifically the east coast and parts of the Midwest, which are areas they don't cover. Right now my scenery software includes some FTX regions (though I'm sure all purchase all of them eventually), FTX Global Base, FTX Vector, and FS Global mesh. Hi All, I've seen so many great reviews on the A2A Cherokee but don't want to duplicate my hangar with similar models I have the LH Pacer which seems to be a very nicely modeled plane in terms of FDE and visuals. Only discrepancy I see is the fact that if it is not 100% maxed out with fuel and payload, it climbs at a high rate of speed, which according to RW docs is a bit unrealistic. But other than that the FDE almost seems to have that Majestic Q400 feeling to it- different than anything I've experienced before. So, as the title says, I'm thinking about getting the F1 King Air. I have a couple questions before I do. First, I currently do not own rudder pedals. I have the Saitek Cessna yoke and throttle quadrant but did not opt for rudder pedals as up til now, I've flown only "tube liners" and they don't really require it. Well, I do have the Q400 too and get away with it there(without auto rudder). I do have a separate joystick that I use for my rudder/steering control though obviously this is not easy to do when you need to also control throttle input. Hi,I am looking to buy either the PMDG 777-200 or the Captain Sim 767.Right now the PMDG 777 is still in (very low) development but I want a plane that can do trans-atlantic flights and is also as close to the real aircraft. And to be honest, i hate to wait :)The PMDG MD11 looks also fine but its more expensive and I am not sure if its FSX native or just an FS2004 airplane made to work in FSX?Any suggestions are welcome.

Recently I have purchased and loaded up Active Sky Next, FTX Global and REX4. The scenery is a continuous water world with mountainous seas and waterlogged airports. Where do I go from here? Scrub FSX off my hard drive? Start again and check each program? Cannot get GSX or UAE to work with REX4. Not a happy pilot Oscar de Wyldde

Hi guys looking how to add a line in my fsx config file that points to all my AI aircraft that I've moved to a different drive. All my AI aircraft used to be in my simobjects\aircraft folder on my C drive and all worked fine but I've moved all the AI stuff to my K drive in a folder called AIAircraft In my fsx.cfg I then added the line K:\AIAircraft below all the simobjects lines in the [Main] section of my cfg but I am getting no AI aircraft any ideas what I add to my cfg file to see this new location Thanks

I want to change the DISTANCE of camera (not zoom) for external camera. As I know the parameter is "Chasedistance" and by meters I can chnage the camera distance to the place. I've made this camera configration below and repeat them with 5 copies of same camera (by only changing number, title and GUID for each new camera) Then I played with Chasedistance parameter as below for each camera; Chasedistance = 0 Chasedistance = 50 Chasedistance = 200 Chasedistance = 1000 Chasedistance = 2000 I was expecting for each camera Distance to airplane will increase. But when I try, I see EXACTLY SAME Distance and EXACTLY SAME View for all 5 cameras. …

Hi Simmers, I have a problem : I reiinstalled FSX on my Computer becuase i deleted the texture folder...lol. After the installation FSX opened and did NOT asked for a key! The correct display of any Opus External Aircraft camera view depends entirely on the LC software being able to cycle and select the correct view mode (see Getting Started and Live Camera Guides). The software has to cycle from the selectable VC view to the Opus Custom External view mode before then adjusting the zoom and eye point to give the desired aircraft view. I recently changed the anisotropic filtering to times 16 and FSX preformed well getting 25-30fps in the PMDG737NGX at FSdreamteam LAX. But when i flew past the airport the default scenery started twitching. It happens everywhere now and is very noticeable at big cities. My Specs are: 8GB of ram Processer: Intel Core i3-4130 CPU @3.40GHz and I use Windows 7 64Bit and I do not Have directx 10 preview on.

Hi, I don't know if this is simply a limitation of FSX itself, or an issue with my system, but I've found that performance greatly suffers nearing the end of a long haul flight. For example, I just flew the LAX-AKL leg. 30fps stable at LAX, but on approach into Auckland my frames were dipping into the mid teens and low 20's. You can see my specs on the right, and I don't run a crap PC. Is there something wrong in my configuration of FSX? Or is this just an issue with the core program? Many thanks in advance
