I been waiting for new Horizon/Alaska Airlines liveries for the MCJ8 Q400 and finally found 3 over on the aussiex.org or OzX website. There are Oregon University, Oregon State University, and Montana State University. Hate buying an expensive addon where you cant find many liveries fictional or real life. These are beautiful and a must for us who fly in the ORBX PNW. When ORBX released there KBZN airport they had a Q400 in Montana State U livery. Couldnt find it anywhere then I remembered the less traveled OzX download site and there it was.

I purchased OPUS, then had to un-install. I went to far in deleting because I deleted the key in my files. I have the Key # written down. In the wrapper I tried both options and neither work. Can't understand why My Password and E-mail won't work either. It's the installation folder that I accidentally deleted.

I have tons of Scenery for FS9 but very little for FSX I've looked and found a few any suggestions? I've downloaded many of the Ozx Freeware ORBX Freeware and i have purchased Some ORBX sceneries to cover NA regio

wilco airbus A340 problem : I have planned the flight by using the fmcg but after take off, when I am switching the HDG button to the "management" mode, the aircraft stops following the planned route. I am new to airbus. in boeing 737 NGX, I simply click the LNAV button and the aircraft follows the planned route. Please Help !

Hey guys, i've been playing FSX for like 2 months now and i've found a couple of bugs. I am using "Flight Simulator X Deluxe (RTM)". I don't have any service packs because SP1 really mess up the game and with SP2 it won't even launch.I am not using any addons except "Carenado Cessna C172". Now the main problem: I normally run the game, start flight and my scenery looks like this : Pretty normal i think.Frame rates are around 20. But then after one or two minutes the game starts look like this: WHY ? Have Aerosoft Tahiti X, not been for a while so cannot remember what it looked like. Recently installed Flightscene NTAA. Now realised that buildings etc behind perimeter fence were missing unlike photo's. Unchecking Tahiti X & Base in Scenery Library makes no difference to the scenery. Checking further it seems that Tahiti X in general is being excluded, other islands like Bora Bora also showing less vegetation, buildings etc unlike the photo's of Tahiti X on the website. Posted same topic on Aerosoft, no replies as yet. Flightscene thinks that a Landclass issue may be interfering the showing of Tahiti. Everything looks normal in the Tah…

I can't believe I didn't find anything when I searched, but there is no shut-down checklist for the a2a cessna. I've never flown in real life so I have no idea what the correct procedures are. I've done some digging around and found things on my own but I'm wondering if what I do is correct: 1) run up engine and lean it out for a few seconds (I heard this helps against fouling) 2) mixture idle 3) avionics master off 4) turn off the radio stack itself 5) beacon/other lights off 6) bat/alt off 7) magnetos off 8) fuel cut-off on 9) tank selector on right or left 10) control lock in place 11) tie down Is there anything I'm missing or should do differently or…

FSX has been running fantastically 25-30 FPS in surround in the VC of a PMDG 777 and double that FPS in an outside view, all with EZDOK installed. recently however, FSX has started to freeze and CTD with EZDOK installed. If I rename the .exe everything works fine. But, I really don't want to have $40 just sitting as dead space on my HD. Does anyone know of a solution, I've tried the suggestions I've found here and other forums but to no avail. Thanks for the help

Just a question regarding FSX Autogen and MegaSceneryEarth. I run UTX/GEX in many places, but for some places I have MegaSceneryEarth that I use. I'm fairly knew to Photoscenery so I hope I'm doing this correctly. I didn't turn anything 'off' or change anything in FSX to use the Photoscenery...I just installed it. So if I'm flying in an area that has the MSE and then leave that area....I see the UTX/GEX autogen. I never see Autogen in the areas that have MSE and I'm guessing that is because the MSE somehow disables it for the area I'm flying in. I've read in several places that if you're using MegaSceneryEarth you can turn off your Autogen to save on FPS becau…

I really enjoy flying corporate aircraft in flight simulation. There is lots of aircraft that we all want and there is a noticeable shortage in the business jets section of development! Learjets are the ultimate business jets. The 31A is sometimes considered to be the best of all of them. Incorporating the higher performing engines of the Garrett Turbofan with a fuselage size closer to one of the smaller Learjet 25's. The only Lear's to be done with payware quality is the 20 Series. I would love to see a newer Learjet done by somebody, and if I had my choice I would have a Learjet 31A. Anyone else want to see some newer Learjets?

I have 6 LAN networked PCs (A,B,C,D,E and F) and have built 2 cockpits, a Boeing 747 and Cessna 172. Because of the number of USB ports each needs I have had to used computer A as server for the 172 and B as server for the 747. Each PC has 2 User Accounts, one for when I fly the 172 and the other for the 747. My problem is with the IP address. As the servers have different addresses it appears that I would have to change the addresses (and server name) on all 6 PCs when switching cockpits. Is there a way around this or to make switching easier. Phil.

hi,I am trying to make this FPS limiter thing work, to no avail. I followed the avsim tutorial (or I think so). Hey folks, well I'm back into FS after about 6 years out, and was looking at becoming largely in debt so what better digital hobby :-), so anyyyyway I was wondering if anyone could be so kind as to update me on all the cool addons I've missed while I was away. Suggestions on the very best in any type of addon would be welcome, be it aircraft, scenery, utility, texture program, etc, anything that's a great addition to FSX, I've spotted some after a few days of looking around, all the FTX ground and airport scenery looks mighty tempting and the PDMG 737 NGX, EZDok/EZCA, REX4. Hi I was flying around southern England last niight with my mate who is based in the USA when suddenly on the left hand side of my aircraft I noticed that the scenery was FSX Default and on the right hand side was Photoreal (Horizon) The cliffs that were supposedly going into the Atlantic ocean were actualy goind into the FSX default scenery any ideas whats causing this to happen Cheers

Greetings all, I recently bought a new computer, and added a SSD. I then installed FSX (from the original discs) directly into the SSD (ie, I didn't move them from the regular hard drive to the SSD. When I tried running FSX, it appeared on only part of the monitor, then quit running after a few minutes ("FSX has encountered an error"....etc). Any ideas on what may be happening? I've added a screen shot. Disregard the black shot on the left. I have 2 monitors and couldn't figure out how to only capture the active screen. Appreciate anyone's help, Ron

Been snooping around tonight and found this freeware airport. It is the Author's first attempt at producing a large airport, and he did a really great job. I have installed FSX on my D: drive, but my Flight Simulator X Files folder has been installed at C:\Users\Peter\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files (and I don't recall seing an option to put it somewhere else during installation). It is possible to move it off my C: drive?
