I seem to remember that there was someone who developed replacement air files for the default Baron, Lear, and others. They really improved the twitchiness of the Lear and King Air. Does anyone remember this. They were all done by one individual. Do any of you remember this? Love to find these files again. Even though I rarely fly the defaults, I really like the improvement, and these files make these planes fly so much better. Stan ps. There was also a replacement panel for the Lear (VC) that really improved the reality of the panel. I can't find this either. I didn't save the site, and I have a new computer since I used these files several years ago.

Hi, I recently purchased this system here and am wondering about frame rates on certain payware planes. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/qj2drH I will be purchasing REX 4 Texture Direct for sure, but I'm wondering how it will affect perfomance of the system. I'm thinking about getting the -PMDG 737NGX -PMDG 747X -Level D 767 -Quality WIngs 757 How would the frames be on each of the aircraft on medium high-high settings? Thanks!

These looks pretty impressive from the screenshots and are particularly good value for 6 airports! Although I have no real desire to replace my FSDT KJFK, I would love to have good quality versions of La Guardia and Newark which this seems to provide in addition to Teterboro, Essex County and Linden Airports. I wonder, bearing in mind the fact that very many people will already have FSDT KJFK, whether DD would ever consider releasing a slightly cheaper package with just the other 5 airports? I think that would be a massive seller if they did. Bill

Someone please help. Whenever we install a new addon in FSX, when the game starts, a box appears which asks us if we want to load this new file for every session or this session only. We have to choose wither Yes or No. If I press yes, is there any way to undo this? I want FSX to ask me if I want to load the new files again. Uninstalling and reinstalling the addon does not work. FSX continues to remember the option! Any way to fix this?

Hi guys. Seems like wanting a few more planes equals wanting real, complicated planes. I watched a vid on youtube of a kid starting up a pmdg 747 and it was 15 minutes long. I don't want that much reality, I am happy with the default planes and amount of compexity with them, but I too would love to have a 757, 767 777, Airbus 380 and such, so are there any companies that make these with around the same complexity as the default planes in fsx? One last question, I flew the default 747-400 for the first time and when I got the ils runway code I put it in but could not for the life of me find where to put therunway heading in at? Can someone let me know where it goes…

I think this is one iconic, bad-&@($* aircraft. I really think it deserves a HIGH QUALITY payware. What do you think? :)

I had a scenery of Pearl Harbor from before December 7th 1941. This scenery had replaced all the ships on Battleship row, and had buildings, vehicles and planes on Ford Island, along with some buildings that were still under construction. I know this is a little vague in description, but these are what is most remembered about the scenery. My computer had crashed and I lost the scenery. Does anyone know the scenery I am talking about, and know where I can redownload it. Thank you. Craig.

A fantastic aircraft and very impressed with it, but a few issues perhaps someone may be able to point me in the right direction. For some reason, every now and again, the aircraft sways from left to right. Enough to the point where is it unable to capture the localiser, and if already captured, then disconnects. It is also associated with a rattling noise, presumably, the elevators. I thought it may have been my weather program, Opus, but I've disabled it and the problem still occurs. As I sit in front of my computer, going through the usual reinstallation routine, I started thinking about what to reinstall and what to leave out. More to the point, what to install that is not going to make my frames suffer and what is not going to sink the good ship FSX in oom oblivion. What old addons am I using that could be better then another, better textures. I decided to do research on AVSIM and over Google to get other people opinions and reading about peoples FSX woes, their tweaks and fixes. I realised that there was so many different opinions on the addon causing the OOM, some saying the PMDG 777, some saying ORBX, some saying a new airport and here lies …

For those pilots flying bizjets around the world, in your own mind, who is in the back? I get airliners, trainers and even twin props that are owned by small charter companies, tour operators etc. But I can't really get into the bizjet mode. I need backstory. Who am I flying? Where are we going? Why? Is this just me? Or should I just fly .... !

Hi All, I am unable to make the grass adjacent to runways hi-res. I find that my payware airports provide excellent textures for ramps and tarmacs, and that Rex Essential does a great job with runway surfaces. But on either side of runways the turf consists of nothing more than blurry streaks. How do I make those areas look realistic? Thank you so much for helping me out! Best, Lucky /////////

I was recently told by someone that Global Ai traffic was a copycat of another company. I did not know that have that currently installed on my FSX system. What are some good Ai traffic programs that show alot of AI, but also low on the FPS. Also how do i remove Global Ai traffc as i cannot seem to find a way to get it out of FSX and their Spanish website isnt helping me much.

I am having major probvlems after installing RealityXP gauges (FLN, FLN, GNS WAAS) on my Carenado Bonanza, in FSX. Essentially, FSX does not load up the aircraft... Could anybody tell me step-by-step what I should do to unistall them (one by one, so I could see what's causing the problem) without making a mess? Many thanks!

Now, I don't know whether it's finger trouble on my part or not, but after doing a completely fresh, clean reinstall of both my OS and FSX (took two weeks :( ) my dearly beloved B60 seems to have issues with the autopliot. Everything else works, the radios, GPS etc, but for some reason, no matter what switch I click or turn, nothing happens with the AP, no display nothing. I never remember having this problem previously. Am I missing something?

Not sure what forum I should be in with this question. I would like to get a recommendation or advice on the best freeware utility for shutting down windows processes while flying FSX. I see and old version of EndItAll is available - don't know if it works with Win7. Also see something called Razer Game Booster...I believe it shuts down processes. Any recommendations, links or leads would be greatly appreciated. Bryan

I recently re-installed PMDG MD-11, Milviz F-15, and for some reason all aircraft are starting up ok, then within initialization time revert to cold and dark (Basically shut down). I searched the forums, but could not find anything relevant (According to my search criteria). What do I look for in the config(?) file to fix this error? Or perhaps I need to look somewhere else? Hi, I've been looking for an A380 for a while now. I've downloaded the PA models and the VC, which are fantastic, but lacking in terms of systems. What I am looking for is an A380 (perhaps a PA A380 merge with another aircraft's systems, i.e. Airbus X Extended). Does anyone know of a model that is out there which features an MCDU and a good VC?

Hey together :smile: , please I need help with some general questions. In my example I use the capt. Sim 777-200 ... If am wrong, please correct me ... When I use the FMC I want to fly a complete route, my problem is I want to make a complete route include the aprroach runway. Here is the first problem ... How do we know on what runway we will land ? As I know ... the ATC will give you the information of the runway on your destination Airport ... So when I program the FMC before Take off ... I cant program the FMC with approach runway Vectors because I dont know on what runway I will land. So for me the only solution is to take off with FMC .…

never had this problem before, all of a sudden when I try to open up fsx I get the following error message.. FSX has detected a problem with a third party add software program addon. Name RAAS Professional Version 1.2.1.36 Company FS 2crew File.\RAASPRO\RASPRO.DLL Then FSX says do you want to run this software. yes or no. never had this problem before, yes I have air bus ext, if I answer no then fsx opens. What should I do to fix this problem

Whenever I go to Norilsk or anywhere in northern Russia the clouds seem very thin and deformed. They are like tall, but horizontally thin. It is very strange... does anyone else know anything about this?

Okay so it really baffles me When taxing i have a very smooth, and stable 25 - 30FPS, but it seems the stutters are here again. Does anyone know how to get rid of them? Its only noticable when going a slow speed ( Like taxing ) Jack

PLEASE HELP can anyone help me? i uninstalled REX4 completely from the control panel but yet in FSX the textures are still there but the program is not. how do i get rid of all the textures completely?
