Fsx/p3d has 0 high fidelity sims for the a330/a350/a380 xpx has all three, any hope?

I am currently not a fan of steam or will be, so what does this mean for us current users of fsx, will be we be left out?

Hi , My problem is when I choose PMDG planes on FSX its don't gone excactlely in good position at door gates ! Always ahead sometime nose entering in buildings! it result trac pushback need many turns on itself before able to connect! I am sure it exist an explanation ? thank you

Does anyone know of a website or perhaps a software program that has constantly up-to-date charts that I can download as a complete package for UK and Europe. Its time consuming having to download each individual chart from the eurocontrol website

I have very big issues with the scenery textures, whenever I fly it doesn't seem to reload the textures and looks blurry! Scenery addons I use: FTX Global, FTX Global Vector & FTX Global openLC europe fsx.cfg Please help, for me it is unflyable this way it looks that bad :( Best Regards

Hi, I have a reasonably powerful computer with an i7 4770K running at 4.5GHz and a GTX 780 graphics card. My settings in FSX are generally conservative with moderate autogen and no AI traffic of any kind, as well as a clean FSX.cfg except for the mandatory fixes. I´m also running 1024 textures exclusively, all of this trying to minimize chances of having OOMs. However, when flying complex paywares I´m observing a sudden fps drop immediately after take-off, from 30 fps on the take-off roll to about 10 in the climb-out. Performance then normalizes after a certain altitude and stays solid for the rest of the flight, until on approach to land, when it once again fall…

I've been having a problem with several AI aircraft being very highly reflective. I don't have the time right now to load up FSX, find one, take a screenshot, then upload/post it, but here is a picture from a thread on flightsim.com. Hi Guys, Just before I make my purchase of the Q400 i just wanted to be sure which version I need? I have read the descriptions of what the various versions offer but I want to make sure I'm understanding it. What I need is a click able 2D FMS etc as per the NGX. This is because I use 2 screens and want to be able to continue with this set up. I'm just not sure whether they say no 2D panel in the base version refers only to the main cockpit in 2D? SDG released an updated version of their Cairo scenery for FSX a few days ago. I was wondering if anyone who owns it can tell me how it is? The screenshots look ok, but I'd love to hear about how good on FPS it is, how it looks in-sim, and the value for the money.

Ok, here's what I did: I was cleaning up some aircraft I don't want and accidently deleted the default airplane. I did this some time ago and since I had saved a default flight I didn't notice the problem until today. I had installed an aircraft and tried to place a panel in it. For some reason fsx didn't like this and it kept ----. I deleted the aircraft and rebooted my computer but the problem was still there. I decided I'd just delete my fsx.cfg and let it rebuild which was a great idea except that it now needs the default "kite" to work. (of course, I inadvertently cleaned my trash out so no old cfg file either. Now when I try to load FSX it gives me an error m…

I was just wondering if anyone knows how to make an airport appear at a greater distance than it does now. I usually fly VFR and I like to fly into small airports, however they usually don't pop up until I am about 5 miles from them, which makes it hard to plan your approach. I was wondering if there is a way to make the Tarmac brighter ar make it appear from a greater distance. Here's hoping. Thanks for any help. John

i added the windowed vsync tweak to my cfg and created the bat file but in the sim it does not work. Any suggestions as to why? I tested it on fullscreen mode and its fine

I've been buying several high quality airport addons lately, and to my surprise the "AFCAD" files are terrible. I've never used larger payware airports before (just a few ORBX GA airports), so I wondered if this is the norm. Taxiways are left out, parkings are missing and badly coded. This means that AI traffic on the airport will not function properly. airlines will not park where they're supposed to, international flights will park at the domestic terminal, military aircraft will park at the gates, and so will general aviation aircraft. If you fly into these airports you will be assinged an unrealistic parking sport by ATC as well. Anyone else share this experience?…

Has anyone purchased Lisbon V2 yet? I have and I'm having some strange performance issues. I've asked the team over at Aerosoft and they haven't yet got back to me (Weekend, I know). Just wondered if anyone else was having strange spiking issues as well? Note: I don't get these spikes at any other airport.

Hi - I'm new to the forum and was looking for a little help. I recently purchased and downloaded the Aerosoft F-16 Fighting Falcon but when I go to extract the ZIP file using 7 ZIP, I get the following error message: I've followed the vendor's recommendation for deleting the temporary internet files and re-downloading the file several times but with no luck. hi, my name Aaron, and i was wandering, when i start Vpilot and, i have to stop UT2s traffic so i just get Vatsim traffic, but when i do that, my tcas doesn't work in the pmdg 737, is there any way to fix that? i hope i explained that ok, please let me know if i need to explain that again.

Last week I started using SceneryConfigEditor v1.1.1 and I have to ssay that it is a great program to control and modity your scenery.cfg file. With the program also there is the possibility of making more scenery.cfg files for certain area. Eg : 1 Europe 2 US Est 3 Us East 4 Australia etc etc The idea is to make the scenery.cfg file as small as possible to improve loading times as FSX checks all entries in the scenery.cfg file , active or not. However I found that when using a modified scenery.cfg file, FSX starts modifying the Scenery File Indexes , makes a modified Data base and then continues loading. The first two already take more than 1 minute. …

I am wanting a quality F14 for FSX. I have heard amazing things about Dino's F14. Is the new aerosoft F14x worth it or should I get Dino's?

Hi guys Can someone tell me what or why aerosoft's 'My traffic 2013" does not work with PMDG's B747 and 777? I know it does work with it from members here on Avsim, but maybe the installation is defective or something. It works well with A318/319. Is there any button or something that activates it on Pmdg products? On Pmdg planes I only get the FSX normal atc. Thanks in advance. John. (South Africa)

I did some searching around and did not find how to uninstall the World of AI and all the aircraft that went along with it as well as get my default AI back. Does anyone know how to do that? Is there a line in the .cfg I need to change or delete? Also any recommendations for a replacement AI program? I know there are 2 big ones I think. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi....its been quite a while since i've posted. I recalled that several years back i had a taxi gauge that would show the layout of the airport with taxiways and also the Gate locations. It was called Airport Chart Gauge by Holger Maass. I recall using it for fsx a few years back. Since that time I had built a new machine and now have time to do more flying. I tryied to install this gauge that I downloaded here, and I'm able to call it up but it doesn't show anything at all. I knew I needed to do the build db and it said it was successful but when i call up the gauge it says FS X, but airports are Zero. The only difference that I can think of is that this…
