Hmmm. So after years of flying with EZDOK and TrackIR I've suddenly run into an issue. I'm trying to fly FSX with EZDOK disabled in order to troubleshoot a few things. Unfortunately, when I close out EZDOK, TrackIR won't work in FSX alone anymore. As soon as I reload EZDOK, I get TrackIR back. So right now, its: No EZDOK - No TrackIR usage. Sigh... Suggestions? what do I do if I my aircraft a cathay pacific 777-300er is cruising at FL330 and suddenly is hit by 115 mph winds? and I can not see the winds on my weather radar, yes I do have active sky next and my weather radar does work.

Hello Being somewhat aged and a tad worn,I know not what Steam is in relation to games or flightsim. I do know what steam is when rising from saucepans. So please what is Steam? Cheers Andy

My TracIR 5 has been working great since I got it a month ago, until now, acting super strange. If I sit relatively quiet and dont move my head for a couple of seconds, it seems like the sensor disconnects and the view pans down either to the left or to the right. So what happens next when I move my head again is that every movement is according to the new camera position created when the sensor disconnects. Extremely annoying!! And it doesnt help if I reset the view within the Track IR software either. I tried reinstalling the software, but no luck. Could it be a virus-related thing? I mean, since it all of a sudden decided to make my life miserable.

I let my son unsupervised use FSX, and somehow he switched FSX to 3D mode, where the airplane and scenery is displayed with fuzzy green and red shadows for viewing with 3D glasses. I didn't even know FSX had that feature... How can I switch the view back to default view so I don't have to wear 3D glasses? Thanks for any help.

I have ATC voice in my headset and all other sounds in speakers, except AES is playing front gear thump on runway through my headset. Can't seem to find a way to turn it off or divert it to the speakers. AES activated airport PMDG 777 (PMDG wheel thump plays through speakers) Realtek HD set to playback two different audio streams split between front and rear output connections.

After installing FlyTampa OMDB 2.3, I observed some strange corruption of the default scenery tiles. Strangely, the problem persists now after uninstalling the product. Any ideas as to what may be causing this? J EDIT: This was caused by FTX Global landclass lookup BGL script (Scenery\BASE\Scenery\lclookup.bgl). Just had to disable FTX when flying in this region. I just noticed that the red messages for Brakes, Parking Brakes, and Pause are not showing up all the time. They seem to appear intermittently. Any ideas how I can make them always appear like they used to?

I just got the FSX SE and love that multiplayer is back and that the game is stabalized. I noticed while playing in multiplayer and I have pressed Q to turn the engine sound off, it turns off the voices as well. Now i am 100% positive we were able to do that in the old FSX where we could hear voices with Q being pressed and so I am wondering if there is a button or feature I need to turn on or is it just my sim has broke. My smoke trail effects and touch down effects dont work as well, anyone else have that problem?

Hello I hope someone can help me since I have never seen this during 6 years using FSX :( In the stock B727 (Boeing livery N737W), there are on top of the 2D panel 5 rectangular horizontal displays for Course, IAS/Mach, Heading, Altitude and Vertical Speed Since I installed new planes, I can now only see the figures in the Course selector, but the other four displays are.. empty! So here is my question for the experts : short of reinstalling FSX, is there a way that I could find in one of the 2 disks the stock B737 panel missing gauges? Just curious if anyone else is having this issue. When I go to backup my FSX Steam it only backups 942 MB of it then stops, it should back up 16421 MB. It should be 3 DVD disks and not one Let me know if anyone else had this issue as well, I have posted and searched over at Steam Forums as well.....Also tried reinstalling my Steam software. Also I have not installed any Third Party yet as I understand that can be an issue as well. Cheers

I am attempting to add lights ( Splashes and Poles) to an airport I installed in my FSX Gold install. So far i have tried with ESDG lights with no success. I do not have SDK installed, not sure what I need or how to use??? I have contacted the author of the airport scenery Tegucigalpa Honduras, and he doesn't mind I do so. Hi All I am trying to fine tune my Q400 setup but have run into problems setting hotkeys for the views. For starters what I would like to be able to do is use my Logitech G13 to bring up the overhead panel and then be able to return to the VC. I have spent the last few days reading everything I can find with no success. I'm having difficulties in setting-up a good landing approach at Princess Julianna Runway 27. I've got no problems when given Runway 9 by the ATC, but when attempting to land from the opposite direction (RNW 27) I have some problem getting my approach aligned with the runway which has heading of 96/264 degrees. The Runway 27 approach has visibility obstructed by a hill/mountain with elevation just under 1500 ft. so it's difficult to see the runway until you clear the hill, I then need a steep descent to reach almost sea level altitude. There's a Fix (EBLUK) east of the Island but it seems worthless for a Runway 27 landing. Do I setup at a higher altitude so I can view …

As soon as I play to much with loading different planes, places, times... when the sim is using a lot of memory, the joystick gets disconnected and does no longer respond. I was kinda hoping that this would have been "fixed" like the guys at Lockheed Martin have done it. In P3Dv2, the bug is also present. It happens in exactly the same situation, when you're using a lot of (virtual?) memory. The joystick is nog longer present in the device(s) list of controllers menu - only the mouse - but your joystick remains operational in the sim. Too bad.

I got the RealityXP Garmin in the VC panel ok in LJ24B for FSX (screenshot) by manually editing the Panel.cfg. But, installing into the 2D panel ( I used the RXP program GNS WAAS ConfigX.exe to do it) I got a CTD when selecting the LJ24B (FSX) and the entire panel view, like in this screenshot, was now a full screen background "theme" on both my monitors. I had to re-boot the PC and re-establish (reselect) my desired original desktop theme. I checked before purchasing the LJ24B and was told RXP Garmin worked in VC and 2D. So maybe I have to do the 2D panel setup manually? So, I need some help to set up the RealityXP Garmin properly (in the Panel.cfg) as a Pop Up for …

hi all, when i`m running with orbx england and uk2000 egnx at night, i`m getting the egnx lighting to a degree but not getting any of the other orb lights around the surrounding area. If i move orb up in the scenery config it gives me the orb england lights but none of the uk2000 scenery (i`m guessing this is as its under it in the priority) how do i get the uk2000 egnx lights along with the orb x lighting of the surrounding area? fyi, i`m running dx10 with steves fixer also and i`m running the aerosoft 318/319. help greatly appreciated, thanks ollie

So i bought yesterday the new edition of microsoft flight simulator and ive been trying to play offline with no success.Also i have a problem with my pmdg 737 and 777 where i can install it but the screens are black and if i try to do anything on both of the aircrafts its going to freeze the game.Finally there is no sound using my kraken 7.1 with razer synapse but its working fine on my televisions speakers. Hi, I've recently begun to use Pro ATC X together with Aerosoft's Airbus 32x latest edition and there's one issue which seems to be peculiar in conjunction with the bus (apparently not with other aircraft). Obviously, when flying with any kind of ATC addon, I'm expected to meet a WP or be reasonable close to it (whatever the threshold calculation for the actual distance is in Pro ATC). Now the problem is that the bus AP sometimes calculates an "inside turn" (not sure if this is the right term), i.e. it begins the turn into the new heading at some point before the actual WP, sometimes it calculates a loop which puts the WP directly onto the flight path. It does exactlly what it promises and does it 100%. My PC doesn't even know it's running and my FS X weather is rock-solid interpretation of METAR's that were downloaded and inserted into the sim.
