My flight sim is an hour behind in gmt. Local time in America is correct, but gmt is an hour behind and everywhere outside of the us is an hour behind. I tried creating a new saved flight, no luck. I even installed fsrealtime and that didn't fix it.

So I think I'm supposed to install OpusFSI on my main Flight Sim PC AND my Client PC if I plan to operate in Network mode? Is that accurate? Cheers, Rob.

I recently purchased FTX Norway and in order to mimic the preview pictures I turned my autogen slider to maximum and I noticed loss of FPS. Usually I fly heavy planes like PMDG with autogen density of normal to avoid OOMs, but occasionally I fly smaller aircraft and then I can really crank up the heat. Apparently not, since its taking a bite of my FPS. I "only" have a GTX 760 so I wondered if I were to experience any increase in FPS if I purchased a better graphics card? Im planning on switching to P3D when PMDG release the NGX, but for now Im stuck with FSX.

Hello! I often fly older planes like the just flight dc-3, but it has very old style nav instruments (with bad resolution too). Now I want to know if there is a way to add a simple more modern VOR gauge that is connected to NAV1 as a popup gauge to an plane in fsx. I have done many searches and could only find stuff for popup gps aids and stuff for the hardware saitek instrument panel. But gps is too much and I dont have the saitek hardware. I have the Intersection Updates and Navaid Updates from the site listed above. Just wondering if it's possible to use that with default FSX airports. I fly offline only. A perfect example could be KORD. So, do you think it's possible? Thanks.

Hello. There is a sale on Carenado aircraft as I speak and the deals are pretty dang good. I was just wondering if I would be pleased with a few purchases. I am currently building a sim pit, almost done, and really enjoy the realistic aspect of flight simulation. I own both the A2A Cessna 172 and the Aerosoft Twin Otter and find them extremely satisfying because of the realism and challenges provided by these in-depth aircraft. The A2A is truly amazing. I also plan on buying the Real Air Duke 2.0, Majestic Dash 8 as well as a few PMDG products somewhere down the road soon. Considering that I enjoy these complex aircraft so much, I mostly like flying small general avia…

Hello Simmers! I love to fly around the world and to explore as many airports as possible, so I never cared for airport scenery addons, since they only improve a few airports. Instead I went for addons that improve FSX globally, like some airport ground vehicles and finally Ultimate Traffic 2. I experienced the problem though that AI traffic was not pushing back and departing, and I figured out that the problem is the FSX fuel trucks. I know that either addon airports solve that problem (because they use more fuel trucks), but as I mentioned above I don't like them. Hi Guys, I wanted to do an fresh installation of FSX. Well now I am stuck for hours with this Error message from FSX " Error 1606. Could not access network location \." I tryed every d*** "fix" on the internet, but my problem is still there, after 4 hours of trying. Does anybody have a clue, what else I could try apart from the 1000 different kind of "fixes" in the Internet, which dont seem to work on my system? Thanks for any help given.

Hi, when flying around busy airports, the ambient sound (environment, engines) frequently drops to almost 0. My guess is that this is related to FSX's default ATC doing its thing in the background, at least it sort of correlates with what I see in the default ATC window. Based on what I found in forums so far, I turned the voice volume down to off and 0 (no need for it anyway, since I use Pro ATC X), but that doesn't seem to be enough. Is there anything else I can do to avoid these "silent periods"? Thanks, Armin

I am asking this question here due to the fact that I have too many variables to put it any of the specific forums. Recently I purchased the 777 from PMDG and the supporting voice control from FS2crew. Around the same time I added ASN to my FSX experience. The issue I am having is that upon touchdown at my destination airport (PHNL primarily due to the low strain on my CPU) once the nose wheel touches down I start hearing an audible "bing" from my computer. As I taxi in it eventually causes my session of FSX to crash. I have tried changing the settings to stop this, initially believing it was ASN downloading on landing but have not isolated it. Hello, I received the above error message when I start FSX. The header on the error message box says: Saitek Pro Flight Panels for FS2004(FSUIPC). The error message started when I inadvertently clicked the "Start the Flight Sim 2004 plugin" located in the Saitek Pro Flight Panels directory. However, I can't find any way to turn off or remove that plugin. I've looked in the Programs List, the FSX directory, and the Saitek directory with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Just got back into FSX after a year or so. I didn't have to reinstall or anything as my install, terrain, addons, aircraft...all were just the way I left them. I never uninstalled as I knew that when I had more time again I'd be back. Right now, I'm in that painful process of scratching my head and trying to remember what I had installed, and what the addons do....and updating those that need updating. Its amazing how you take for granted the things you've installed over time and how easy it is to forget how you used all of those things in synergy. I used FS Global for Mesh. Hi. If you install FSX or any program for that matter on a different drive to your OS,does that program still show up in the "Add / Remove programs" or "Uninstall a program" or is there another way to uninstall it when the time comes? Thanks. Dennis

Hi, Just recently I decided to have FSX make a new fsx.cfg file and see which default values I obviously had changed in due course. To my surprise I noticed that it came up with a different ProcSpeed value, slightly lower than initially 1.5 yrs ago when I installed FSX on this computer. Does that make sense? I changed the value in my old fsx.cfg, it performs ok, I am tempted to say slightly better, but that might be wishful thinking. Menno

I Dont know where to put this so I will ask here. When I go to full screen mode FSX changes to a higher resolution which compresses the Sim . This happens on and off but now it happens all the time . Anyone know what would be the cause?

Hello. I'm looking for a combined ATC and Traffic program for FSX. I fly mostly general aviation aircraft, vfr at the moment; but want something that can grow as my skills and hangar grow. I am looking for non-voice controlled ATC that is semi realistic and traffic that enters and follows patterns. I always fly out of KLND, a small town airport, and with FSX traffic all the way up I think I remember seeing one plane come in and land. I cannot seem to find a direction I want to pursue through my own research and would appreciate any input. Thank you.

Hi all, I am considering purchasing PMDG 737 and I am curious. Can you assign keyboard shortcuts to all of the flight deck commands? I cannot find anywhere online saying you can or cannot. Where can I find a list of all of the possible commands that can be assigned? Thanks.

I don't know exactly where to put this.. so.. I'm looking into learning and flying one of these.. but which one is easier to learn to fly.. pros and cons of each? I'm leaning toward the dash 8.. simply because it is the latest and newest one out and it is a more common aircraft and hauls more virtual passengers. I think I would like that.. but.. thanks

I like this little airplane. I don't understand the cold and dark startup, but the two ready to taxi downloads saved that irritant. It hand flies very nice, and once you get used to the Auto Pilot, it flies quite accurately to include the ILS. Speed control, as with all high performance aircraft, is important. You get a lot of simulation for the price, but I wish Lionheart had charged more and gone for a later date upgraded Lear model. The reason I say this is what do you do with a Lear. Other than checkouts and check rides in the local area, Lears are cross country birds. Due to the altitudes they fly at, they are always IFR cross countries. A Lear demands an FMS…

I have Great Britain pretty well covered with VFR Generation X scenery, and parts of the rest of the world catered for with OrbX, including New Zealand and Pacific north West. I am thinking of installing FTX Global, and OpenLC Europe. Two questions: 1) What is the general opinion on FTX Global and OpenLC? 2) What will be the interaction of FTX Global and OpenLC with my VFR Generation X in Britain, since I presume I can't deactivate just the Britain section of FTX Global and OpenLC. I know it's subjective but I am assuming VFR Generation X will have the edge over the FTX Global and OpenLC, although I appreciate it is all very subjective.

How do you arm the speed brakes in the PMDG 737, so when it lands the panels automaticaly pop out of the top of the wing ?
