Got the demo and it does not work. Says "system cannot find specified file".

Can't find anything else on this issue so here goes. I have flown the Captain Sim B777 a few times and one thing seems to be consistent. On landing, after going in to reverse thrust, the airplane wants to turn in the direction of the missed approach fix. I have seen this happen at several airports and the only way I can stop it from happening is to delete the missed approach procedure out of the flight plan. I have other aircraft including the PMDG B747 and MD-11 as well as CS B757 and L1011 without having this problem. Hi, I have spotted two unrelated AI quirks that I cannot explain, can anyone shed light on these? 1) At Muscat OOMS I noticed that there were no Qatar Air jets, no matter what time of day or day of the week I sat there. I am using UT2. I thought maybe UT2 had earmarked the airline as Daedalus which I have turned off, so I copied across the OMan Air BGL from my backed up WOAI folder. Still nothing. Checked there were no FS9 traffic files in the same folder ... nothing. Muscat should be heaving with Oman Air ... 2) At Orientalsim's Nairobi, I have lots of traffic, but my cargo aircraft from WOAI always park at the passenger gates. I use FSX full screen, if I try to get into windowed mode, and then click anywhere outside of the FSX window, FSX drops to the task bar, it doesn't crash just minimizes. Only happens with FSX. Wish somebody can help, thanks

I've been having a crash/semi-crash situation over the last month or so. Here's what happens: I start FSX as usual, get the start up screen, and I then go to my default plane, cockpit view, default airplane (default 172, KABE). After about 10 seconds of looking at the VC, the image freezes for about 12-15 seconds, I get a flash of the texture, and then it either starts and is OK, or it crashes to the taskbar. If I continuously click the FSX icon on the taskbar, I can bring up the cockpit in "paused" mode, and then everything is OK. I've tried looking at all the recent installations of programs, I've tried starting a new CFG, and I've tried the latest graphic drive…

Hello All; This morning I'm experiencing some strange behavior with my mouse cursor and Ezdok. So what happens is the I try to look around my cockpit i.e press the scroll wheel down and use the arrow keys to move up/down/left/right the mouse cursor gets stuck on my second monitor and I cant slide it back over to my main monitor without clicking multiple times on something, only then it lets me to go back into my main monitor and click on something in the cockpit. Hi. I've been installing scenery from DVDs and have met an installation error with one DVD. The error shows: D:\FSX\\UK2000scenery\UK2000scenryVolume1\options.exe A decompression error has been detected (#5) Could not open output file I'm given the option, Abort/cancel/ignore. If I ignore and proceed, the scenery seems to install but viewing the contents of the scenery folder, a necessary application file options.exe is not showing. Any advice on these 2 features would be appreciated. Ray

So recently I fired up FSX to find that all of a sudden I'm having ~7fps less than before under same conditions, making the sim unplayable at payware airports. I'm running Win10 Home with the latest Nvidia driver. Has this happened to anyone else?? EDIT: Okay, never ever let Win10 or Geforce experience update your gpu driver... still don't get the desired performance but fps are at least back up to something over 20.

Beside of flying for my loved virtual KLM where I fly the heavies, I search for an airline who operates GA aircrafts like C182 and maybe a piper cub (Just the whole A2A product line would be awesome ☺ ) It would be great if there is an nice homepage and working acars system. !! I am having some troubles with the Simaddons CYHZ in FSX SE. The first issue is that I have very bad texture flickering above a certain altitude (in both DX9 and DX10). The second, and this applies to some other addon sceneries, on some of the buildings like the main terminal and the jetways, it shows the Zinertek HD airports buildings instead of the new addon ones. Would there be any way to set scenery priorities, or something to that effect?

For those who fly the Aerosoft Airbus Extended, would it be suitable for a newbie to airline flying like myself? I fly mostly twin props with my homebuild cockpit and have all the instruments I need. I do like to fly a Project Airbus with add on sounds a lot too, but I import the flight plan via FSX and let the autopilot follow the route after ATC vector me away from the airport. ATC direct me onto the ILS final, too. I like buttons to press on startup though! Will the Aerosoft airbus allow me to use FSX flight plans, but give me more systems to enable and disable by following checklists? Having bought LatinVFR's San Diego airport I am confused about the gate assignments. I thought this was a civilian airport but virtually every gate is described as ramp mil cargo. It makes a mockery of trying to decide which gate to park at for a 737. But if you check this website for flight movements it suggests most are civilian, not military. http://www.san.org/Flights/Flight-Status Knowing many of you will have this airport I'm hoping you can explain why the gates have been named this way. It seems bizarre. :unsure: I have searched for an alternative AFCAD but it proved fruitless.

Is the new version of Lisbon from Aerosoft worth the upgrade price? Has the airport changed much and is the new version that much better? Have they modelled the city and anything else to make it worth it? Thanks

Has anybody tried this alternative to TrackClip Pro for TIR5? I find the Clip Pro smoother and more responsive than the hat clip, but way too delicate. And restricts choices of headsets. http://www.trackhat.org/

Hi all, Recently I have some problem on my FSX SE. I have installed the PIS RCTP into both FSX SE and P3D. However, the ground texture became default airport ground texture instead of PIS in FSX SE (P3D is normal). But when I lift off from ground, the PIS ground texture just showing back. hello, When we plugin to OPERATIONS CENTER ,737 NGX LIVERIES, and we clic on DOWNLOAD, is there a way to download the liveries to our computer so we can save them on a cd or dvd. ? With the others 737 fs9 or 747 we can download it directly, but doesnt seem to work with 737 NGX. Thank you,

Updated to Windows 10 from Win7 home premium. A few minor issues but everything seem to be running very well, as long as all remnants of FSX boxed is removed, including registry. The only thing I am seeing now is, when I start FSX, I get three messages asking if I want to start these programs. They are Couati, from FsDeamteam, Active Sky Next, and EzDoc. I am wondering if it has something to do with an XML file. So I found the XML file and opened it with notepad,and found the three entries. Hi! I recently reinstalled my computer and FSX. I'm using Saitek Pro Flight Yoke and I'm using the top left switch (the hat switch) too look around. But after the installation i can not look around, it moves like 1 centimeter then i get's stuck.. Worth knowing is that i'm using EZDOK. Before the reinstallation I got this problem when I plugged in the yoke after starting FSX. Now i always plug it in first and i still doesnt work. And ideas? Kind regards

Windows 7 64-bit Microsoft FSX Gold Edition I have copied and pasted my FSX folder on to my 2nd larger hard drive, so yes, I do have a back up copy of my full installation of FSX. But should the unthinkable happen and my whole system packs up/blows up/catches fire or whatever, I am thinking of also backing up to discs. But........... ............How do I back up my installed FSX installation to discs please. The total size is 22.2GB and will require 5 discs. Hi guys, I think of getting a head tracker (will be much more easy to fly I suppose). I´ve heared of this Facetrack-programm wich only needs a webcam. I don´t have one but I might geet one. After all it is less expensive than TrackIR 5 (These things are pretty expensive in Germany,). So has someone experience with FaceTrackNoIR and can tell me whether it´s stabe, hassle free and ueasy to use? Otherwhise I might get TRackIr instead.
