Hi, I’m new to this forum. I’m not a native English speaker, but I could need some help with my FSX setup on Windows 10 I flew FSX for some time on Windows 7 with no problems. Now I moved to new machine with Windows 10, and that’s where the problem starts. In general, I’m using two screens with a native resolution of 1920x1200 and 1280x1024. I would like to start on the larger screen and move some other windows to the smaller one. In FSX I configured the resolution to 1920x1200x32. I am curious to hear back on some input. I have REX 4 texture direct and soft clouds. Does anybody constantly use the soft clouds or back and forth between the REX 4 clouds?

FSX Gold and Win 10 Home 64 fresh install on both. Here is my odd situation. I have real time un-ticked and I have a flight save in alaksa in daylight. then when I load that flight up, it loads it up in current system time, not the time I saved the flight which was daylight time. anyway to fix this?

whenever I switch between full screen and windowed mode, it always returns to a small window. I will max. the window, but it doens't matter, next time it will do the same thing, just open to a small window is there anyway to keep it a full maxed window? What determines the refresh rate or distance objects start to appear in the distance for scenery? Is it Ram, CPU, Video Ram??? I find that my scenery starts to appear about 3 Miles in front of me whereas on UTube some of the videos show scenery almost unlimited in front of you. I seem to have processor power and ram, not sure on the video card. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx, Thomas

To alter my custom made traffic.bgl in FSX\Scenery\World\scenery I copy the bgl to FS9 then use TTools to alter the file. Is there a way that I can alter the three files (Airports,Aircraft & Flightplans) in the Traffic bgl without going to FS9. In other words is there a programme for FSX to open the Traffic bgl. to get the three files I want to change. I know there is a airline packet programme called WOAI but I prefer to do the work myself. Any suggestions welcome.

the only thing that is preventing me on getting FSX SE is the thought of losing all my add-ons or having to reinstall them all again is there anyway around this guys?

I know this may sound odd but I was just flying with the sun in front of me, up in Alaska, and it was setting and I got to thinking. Has anyone ever set up the correct time and place to see if FSX will show a total eclipse?

Hi. I am having problems with my recently purcased logitech g430 headset , i can only get the sounds working in surround sound for about 15 mins in FSX , before it corrupts the sounds, also i can get it setup in vpilot easy enough , and gives excellent sounds , but comms with atc can suddenly stop working without warning , and in TS3 i get an echo that is imposible to stop . If anyone has this headset and got it fully working reliably with FSX/ASN/VPILOT/TS3 , could you please let me know how you have the settings , and the driver you are useing , so i can see where i am going wrong . I have the Epic LT and have been looking for the pilot operating handbook. Can't seem to find one online. I am interested in information about power management. Specifically, torque and prop rpm setting during the various phases of flight (takeoff, climb, cruise, descent, landing). Short of finding a copy of the POH, does anyone have some suggestions concerning the torque and prop setting? By the way, I am using the Epic in P3Dv2.5 and really enjoying it. Regards, Danny

So... I have traffic 360 by just flight, and like it, and don't want to get rid of it for GSX, but there seems to be a conflict between the two programs. Is there a solution that doesn't involvr just unistalling one or the other?

I've always wondered what exactly FSX is loading at 6%? That "spot" is by far the longest pause in the loading sequence for me. Paul

DON'T tell me that it is a diffrent thing crashing since I have used the event viewer before and I saw it failing in there. I thought I fixed it when I used the win10 OS one in system32 but now that one is crashing too. Sometimes it isn't even the menu like my latest crash was when the jetway touched the plane and I checked it and it was the uiautomationcore.dll. Anyone know were I can get the xp one since I have not tried that one and it seems to be my only hope.....

What areas are covered in FSX in the 139 areas. Can I eleiminate the aereas not wanted ?

Hi everyone i am having some trouble in connecting Pro ATC x and active sky next from my notebook to my main fsx rig. I have gone through froogle sims video and the tutorial in the pro atc manual but it doesn't seem to want to work. All the shares are done, sdks and sdks service packs installed and the three simconnect files are installed. Also the ip address of my main fsx pc is in the proper files. Can anyone offer any help please? Much appreciated Jai
