I cant install Taxi2gate VHHH into steam. Wondering if anyone has it working in steam and if they do how did they get it to work. As well if its not able to work yet does anyone know if Taxi2gate is coming out with a patch for this scenery to work with FSX:SE Thanks

Does anyone know if there is a (photo) scenery of the Buenos Aires city to compliment the Tropical Sim airport.

I've been using some of Ray Smith's excellent AFCADS to reduce takeoff and landing flow at KORD. It's great not being stuck behind ten planes awaiting takeoff, but I'm curious if large aircraft use crosswind runways as a common practice in the real world at airports such as KORD, KJFK, KLAX, etc. Thanks, Ernie

Hi all, I need some help please... I had a fresh FSX install about a week ago because it was time to revamp my installation. Unfortunately I'm getting crashes to desktop just before landing...roughly one or two miles away from touchdown. The KERNELBASE.dll error which seems to be the fault module has occured twice in Aerosoft Airbus and PMDG 777 and both at T2G KSEA and Latinvfr's KMIA. I have however made successful touchdowns at KBOI base airport, FSDT KLAX, Flightbeams KSFO and Latinvfr's KSAN in PMDG's 737. At this point I'm and not sure what direction to go. The AI traffic appears fine when parked, and it communicates with ATC when not, but when it isn't parked, it becomes invisible. I know it's not just that the label's not there because i was flying for over an hour without actually seeing any traffic, at one point, air traffic control gave me an alert about an aircraft less than a mile away in no clouds and I couldn't see it, and all the AI aircraft in the view options menu are parked on the ground. I am using only default AI aircraft, flight plans, and air traffic control. Does any one have any ideas on how to fix this issue?

Hi all, I've spent a fair amount of time looking for an Aurigny Air Services repaint for the FeelThere Embraer 190(195) and cannot find one. I do a fair amount of island hopping in and around the Channel and this would really be the icing on the cake if I were to find one! Any directions will be appreciated! Many thanks. B)

Hi. I have a question regarding the Nvidia inspector program. Do the settings in Nvidia inspector still take effect when running FSX in windowed mode? Also, if I update my nvidia driver, do the Nvidia inspector settings get deleted? Thanks again. Callum.

I'm getting mist following me as you can see in the screen shot. I did a search first before posting and saw that I should rename two files: fx_WheelWetSpray.fx fx_WheelSnowSpray.fx So I renamed them and restarted FSX and it's still there. I know this is an FSX bug but I was wondering if I'm missing anything. I have a lot of ORBX files that I saw in the Effects folder but don't know if that makes any difference. Hello Gang! Has anyone noticed that the 787 is outrageously underpowered? It takes 10,000ft of runway to reach 147kts fully loaded. Very unrealistic and the low power causes the aircraft to stall at 1800fpm. ANy ideas? Thanks! Dennis

I'm just about to begin my first ever airliner flight on Vatsim, and one of my friends warned me that ATC may, at some point, give me a direct to order when on a SID; how would I tell the aircraft to miss a waypoint and head direct to? Hello guy I recently bought the Q400 and im little lost (comming from the pmdg 777 for two years now) i have a miss understand with some points of the cold and dark and descent. - First, after bring up the engines I have warning of GEN 1 & 2 (they are both on) and R TU & L TU (don't know what is that...) -Second, does VNAV calcute your full vertical path ? or you have to put restriction according to the charts into the FMS to get correct VNAV path profile ? -Third, my plane overshoot the ILS. I installed UK2000 Heathrow version 3 with update. If I run Ai smooth or Ai separation the ai aircraft land on the correct spot on the runway. When I run ai controller v1.4 the aircraft land after half way down the runway. Can anyone suggest a solution to this? Ai controller is a fantastic product, but I am just having an issue with UK2000 Heathrow.

Hello all. Recently I was flying to Innsbruck airport. I did the visual approach, which of course requires DME's. At the departure airport, i regularly got ready for the departure and approach as well. At the approach part, I couldn't seem to enter the VOR frequencies in the VOR L, and VOR R fields, located on the NAV RAD page. It said "Invalid Entry" every time. I was able to insert frequencies manually in the PMDG 747. I was wondering if they were any special way to enter these, or am I just not smart enough to figure that out? Hi all, I`ve recently started using payware products such as Aerosofts Airbus X A318/A319 addon. I have to say its an excellent addon but I`m struggling on the Flightplan page on the MCDU. Lets take Boston to Toronto for example: From Rfinder: KBOS SID BOSOX V1 GRIPE V419 WITNY V146 ALB V14 BEEPS V84 UMAGY V14 GEE V84 BUF STAR CYYZ I`m just wondering how do I find the SID that corresponds with BOSOX? The same can be said for the STAR that corresponds with waypoint BUF, how can I find the right arrival? I`ve watched alot of tutorials on youtube but none explain how I can find the right one. couple days ago i got the combo A330/A340 from BBS... everything looks ok except the reverse thrust, doesnt work in a correct way, it works opposite/backwards. I did a calibration but i couldnt find a solution to fix it. I tryed to read their manual but again i didnt find a way. Check the pics below and you will see what im talking about...... the other day i registered to FSUIPC maybe i can fix it from there? For any help i would appreciate.

I know this has been discussed but I just noticed the problem, maybe because of the new drivers I just downloaded. In windowed mode if I move the mouse pointer to a window edge I go from 37 fps to over 60 fps, that is a very big difference. If I go into full screen there is no place for the mouse pointer to hide so it stays at around mid 30's but if I alt the top menu to open I can hide the mouse pointer there and the fps go up past 60. I wonder if someone could make a program to auto hide the mouse pointer when it is not moving?

Hi all, Seems FSX is getting slower and slower between loading screens; for example, if I simply want to change aircraft, sometimes the screen is blank for almost a minute. Same thing if I'm changing locations, or weather. Sometimes it takes quite a while to start up; sometimes (often) it hangs when quitting. However, the sim itself is running fine. I have no idea what could be causing this... Any thoughts? thanks, Andrew

Hi! I've been looking all over the interwebs for a guide on how to run programs like Active Sky Next on a separate PC, but all of them seem to focus on boxed editions of FSX. Does anyone know how to accomplish the same thing with FSX Steam, if indeed it can be done? Thank you! - Tristan

Hello guys, I'm presenting here a little addon I made for FSX. It's a set of sky textures designed to take advantadge of some ENB features. The sky textures were made in parallel with ENB settings -- that I included in the package -- to achieve the best visual result. You can use them without ENB, in a pure FSX, or while using something like SweetFX, but the results will be a bit different from the intended. I have all the options checked, but aircraft labels are not appearing either on my airplane or AI airplanes. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Departing KDTW I see a FSX static vehicle I have never see prior (I have FSX-Acceleration now). I use KDTW Blueprint scenery but the author says the vehicle is not his. Anybody know where this one came from?

I cant use gsx because all sort of error happen in the installation. Something support file fail to update and some scenery fail to update error. I would like to know how to fix that and python25 dll error. Also Couatl crash error.
