I have recently installed the Quality Wings 757 onto my laptop, and it is registered and seems to work fine except for the FMC. The FMC seems to be having a problem displaying certain text. The IDENT Page shows everything correctly as well as my up to date AIRAC Cycle of 1509. However when I proceed to the next page, the REF Airport section is blank and does not let me type anything on that page. The SID's and STAR's also don't appear. But if I click randomly on the SID/STAR Page, they do appear on the RTE, so its like the text is there but invisible. A new problem. For unknown reason, when I attempt to load a Flight 1 aircraft (Cessna Mustang, King Air B200, or Cessna T182t), I get the following: "Microsoft Flight Simulator has stopped working A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program." This does not occur with any of the default FSX planes or with any other of my add-on aircraft (Carenado etc.) The only thing I've done just prior to this happening was installing the newly released Service Pack 3 for Active Sky Next. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Thanks.

Hi, sorry for my bad english. Today, trying to tweak my FSX again, i set some configs on Nvidia inspector and also in my CFG. I have never used DX10 Before. I try using an cfg that i found on internet to see if that give me some extras fps, but no, so i delete it. This CFG had the DX10 active. Next to that, i try to build a new cfg. When FSX started, the screen when the aircraft preview were was black. I tried everithing, deleting my cfg, deleting the Shaders, the Nvidia inspector config, etc. But nothing worked. I'M DESPERATE! Hi Using the latest version I'm getting pretty constant (ie 5 a flight on an 1:20 minute flight) It just says the server has stopped and asks if I want to debug or cancel Any ideas? Thanks Lee

I am looking for a way to edit the way the ATC assigns you to a gate. I keep getting assigned to more of a parking spot rather than an actual gate with a jetway/jetbridge. I understand there may be a possible way to prevent this from happening by editing the airport? I am using PMDG 737 NGX if it makes a difference.

Pretty much all my planes I have a favorite livery and it's all I fly. While the others are nice, they don't get used. I was thinking off getting rid of the rest and deleting those variants or config entries, plus the texture folders. Would it speed up performance? Does anyone else do this? Does it cause problems for AI? (I use FTX AI)

I accidently changed my bgl files to all open with notepad.Is it possible to restore this setting back to the original? I am using FSX.Steam on Windows 10.

Hi All, I have recently moved from flying jets to props and have spent a month or so flying the real air legacy. its a great plane but I am looking at something with 4 seats. I have some nice planes im my hangar and they all have their plus points, but they all have the same negative and that my pilot skills. I can take off fine and I can fly to my destination, but its the end game where I fall short. I don't know if its how I have my flight yoke set up but my final approach looks like 2 people are playing see-saw on the wings. if I try to correct to the left or right I seem to always overdo it. ILS has been my godsend, but when ATC give me a visual approach …

After any flight the airports do not render correctly. The airport is in the ground, AI planes are in the ground, taxiways and runways are a lot lower than where they should be, which therefore makes it look like the aircraft is floating in mid air when it isn't. The airport and runway is not visible when making the approach until the aircraft is approximately 50ft from the ground.

Good day All Have changed from W7 to W10 64 bit and now when I fly FSX and drag gps etc to second monitor I can only use the right hand half of the upper monitor, when not in FSX I can drag to full upper monitor. I have checked monitor drivers, resolutions etc all are ok. Logic says if it works when not in FSX, then it must be FSX causing the problem!!!!! Anyone any suggestions please Mike

I've only used RC4 but I figured I might as well give this program a try. Is this a free program or do you need to buy it from somewhere? Also is there any difference between RC4 and PFE? Like anything that PFE does that RC4 doesn't or vice versa?

I'm looking for passenger aircraft like the Dash 8, Fokker 50, ATR, Saab or something similar...also with a VC. :smile: I found a site called Dreemwings but they appeared to have shut down. On the original ShadersHLSL on Fsx it has 5 files. Common, Fixedfunction, General, Misc, PostProcess, And Terrain. On the Bojote's Shader 3.0 mod it has the same files with the same name. Now to manually install the Bojote,s am I supposed to delete the orginal ShaderHLSl files and replace them with the Bojote's Files. Please let me know if this is correct. If it is then a simple Yes will do. If not then please enlighten me on what I need to do. I tried to do the autoinstall but got a message about a script that was missing so it would not do it autoinstall.

I do not need a real time traffic board program that operates when fsx is running, I just need a program that scans all my traffic files and prints out a departure and arrival list for each airport I type in. Is there a program that does this for free?

Hi all, I have been experiencing this phenomenon on every system i had so far, so maybe this can`t be fixed... I have this stutter on every airport, with every aircraft i have used. During flight i get 30 FPS and smooth flying almost all of the time.. It is not a very big deal, i am happy i got smooth flying but still am curious to if someone else experiences this and has a solution... Hi guys, After installing FTX Norway, i got a lot of problems with my scenery, in the picture below, i'm at ENCN, and as you can see, nothing is as it should be. Also at ENGM (Oslo X V2), i am getting some bright spots in my scenery. I have tried running the FTX Vector Configuration tool, (Airport elevation). With no luck. I have watched the videos and read the reviews and like what I see so far. I have a few questions for those that have this plane. How is the VAS usage? Does the icing effect on windshield show only on outside or is it shown on the inside as well? Would love to find a video of this. Can the plane be flown simply or does it always require by the book procedures? I am not sure this old dog can learn new tricks with all those flight computers. Hello, After Win 10 upgrade FSX SE does not start anymore (Microsoft popup) , FSX SE was running like a charm on Win 8.1. What is the best procedure to uninstall FSX SE totally and do a clean install for FSX SE? Do I need to buy a new licence? Thanks in advance.
