Hi All, I have an Intel 4790K Clocked to 4.7, and a Nvidia Titan X GPU. Running FSX SE on DX10 Which bufferpools settings should I use, currently It looks like this but I am pretty sure thats wrong. Can someone show me how it should look like in my CFG? I reinstalled the whole simulator an it got even worse. I tried flying on default scenery and nothing is loading, Not that they take long to load, no they even don't want to load. My sliders are on max and my settings on the AMD Control Center are all on default. I haven't touched my my fsx.CFG file yet. It's not the first time I have reinstalled fsx but this is the first time that this happens..

Not sure if this is the correct forum for this, but yesterday I tried to reinstall and activate the Sky Sim DC-9. After a few failed attempts I went to their website and learned that after three installs, the key needs to be reactivated. Seems simple enough, except that none of the emails I have used are vaild, so I keep getting "delvery failure" in my effort to reset the key. Anyone have any luck in getting a response from these folks, and if so, what is the correct email? Thanks in advance for any assistance. Cheers, Pete

Been having a few issues with missing files lately so tried the FSX repair option from the disc. Every time Iv'e tried this it does nothing...does it have any purpose?

I have just recently been getting into GA flying and have purchased a few GA addons (Milviz 310, Royal Duke and A2A Commanche). I was looking at real world videos and trying to find other good GA planes but many of the ones that I am interested in have the G1000 and all of the reviews say things like great looking plane but terrible G1000. So I wonder why is it that nobody seems to be able to make a G1000 that works just like the real deal. (btw, I have the Flight1 GTN750 which I really like).

Okay guys, So i used to use ENB series with FSX to make the night darker, but it got to a stage where i would hate the way it looks in the day. I then only used it when i was doing night flights, but that also got to the stage where when tabbing out and going over to look at my other monitor to view the flight plan and charts ect. FSX would crash, and according to Event Viewer the ENB would cause that. I went back to just the defualt FSX night, and i have no come to a stage where i would like to make FSX Dark again, i have been looking at some posts on the forums about people using sweet FX I wanted to post and ask does it really work? Hi, as per yesterday I am a proud owner of the LJ24B as well. I was going through the manual and stumbled upon the cruise setting being max EGT 420C, max M .87, wing temperature in green. Is that a typo, as the green arc on the EGT goes up to 720? (With power set at max 420 I would reach a much lower speed than the mentioned M. 85- M .87 at FL450 at current summer temps.) Regards

This is a little thing I have been working on lately. I fly a lot (if not only) the RealAir Turbine Duke. B) The only thing that I was lacking was a convenient and simple tool for fuel planning. So I decided to create a Google Spreadsheet. It began simple and, as often in my case, turned pretty intricate. I have read that people don't use TextureMaxLoad anymore. I have found setting it to 30 gets rid of slow texture loading when changing views. Is there a reason this line isn't good to use now?

Hi everyone. I hope this is posted in the right location. I’m looking for some scenery for the country of Belgium for FSX Steam. I’d prefer freeware if at all possible. I’d prefer one or two files if possible, but that’s minor. I’m primarily looking for more detailed scenery of the land throughout the country including the wind farms, and detailed autogen of the major cities such as Brussels, Antwerp, Brugges, etc. I would also like a more detailed shore. If anyone could help me with this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for your help everyone.

Hello All Lots of discussion in this and many other forums about rig specs, FSX.cfg files, FPS, etc... Some places you read people getting 50+FPS with settings maxed out! Unfortunately, I haven't been able to come close to that type of performance with my rig. The issue I'm having is my rig seems to be pretty good for FSX standards: i5-4670 4.2Ghz (OC'd) 16GB Ram Geforce GTX 760 Corsair H60 Windows 7-64 FSX is on separate Samsung SSD 120GB I know the specs aren't perfect but at "maxed out" settings FSX:SE averages 9-12 FPS (on departing and landing - a little better on cruise). And, even at moderate settings I'm still only getting to 15-20 FPS! Indee…

Hi all, I've known about this for a while and kind of put these aircraft at the back of the hanger until I was ready to tackle it, and now I am. Basically, it's exactly the same issue as this guys': http://www.avsim.com/topic/471088-strange-graphical-issue-with-vc/ I have the CLS 767 and POSKY 777 and I use DX10 mode in FSX-SE with Steve's DX10 Fixer which otherwise works brilliantly; I can't be sure it's an issue with DX10 but I imagine it might be since I've found next to nothing about it and these aircraft aren't recommended on DX10 anyway... but I don't want to let that stop me! Hi, I have both versions of FSX installed, each on their own dedicated drives, but not having used the boxed version for some time I have decided to uninstall both versions and do a clean reinstall of just the Steam version. Hi all, Has anyone got NI to work correctly in Win 10. I have tried several times and re installed but it will not set 1/2 VS it just ignores it, you can tell if you put the fps to 60 in the sim it just tries to maintain 60 fps not stay at 30 tried re compiling the profile but nothing.... not sure how to get this working, has Nvidia new drivers made this so it no longer works?... running in DX 10 preview is much better but no brilliant when adding payware aircraft it starts to suffer as I just cannot run in DX9 as I get a judder effect and bad screen break up on turns DX 10 is better..DX 11 worse in P3D so just wanted to know really if NI actually works an…

Hi, I just bought the Fairchild 24 the other day. It looks awesome and has a very nice feel over it, BUT I have a problem. I have no electricity, the avionics go out after a few minuts. The checklist says to turn Generator ON. But i cant find any generator button anywhere. I have tried starting manually and with Ctrl+E and it happens using both ways. the chraging gauge is in red and says 7,5 volts or something like that. I have read the manual, the checklist and I have seen the youtube walkaround. I have the Fairchild 24 installed in P3D 2.5 So for now, the Fairchild is grounded. I hope someone here has a solution, so that I can start enjoying this pretty lit…

Hi all, All of a sudden I'm getting a Directx 10 frame counter and graphics card report showing in FSX;SE which wasn't there this morning. It shows up right over my menu bar of FSX on the top left and is a cyan colour. It's extremely annoying, and the only thing I remember doing is pressing an update button which popped up when I opened DX10 controller. Hello, first of all: Yes, i do have FSUIPC installed. The Error first occurred after i installed Win10 and Rex 4. The Screen is working, but the Information like: NTOP Percantage, Fuel, Temperature, Oil, Heading Indicator, Altitude won't work(See on the Picture at the top) Thank you for reading and i hope you can help, because i really enjoy this Aircraft. I have an MSI GT72-QD Dominator which has a 500gb ssd and a 1TB hard drive which is empty, the operating system is installed on the 500gb drive so would it be advisable to, or can I install fsx and p3d onto the 1tb drive in separate folders. This is a complete new installation of both fsx and p3d onto this new rig with all the addons, just looking for some install advise. Cheers Rod.
