When Fsx-Steam starts loading after the initial screen, I am now seeing on the top left side of the screen:"ENBSeries v0.075:GTA San Andreas boris-vorontsov.narod.ru". Can anybody tell me what this is. I don't recall installing any mods for Fsx or is this a part of the Steam atomatic update? Can I remove this? If so how. Fsx-Steam had never crashed on me before and has started to now. Thank you for any comments.​

I recently decided to give Dxtory a try as an alternative to FRAPS for making videos of my flights. Although I have heard good thigs about it, I cannot get it to work well. The problem is that my framerates nosedive when I start recording. For instance, I was cruising in the PMDG 737NGX over France at about FL350 (UTX+GEX Europe) and averaging 45FPS in the VC. After starting the recording, this reduced immediately to 8-10FPS. I also tried the default Cessna 172 in northern England (again with UTX+Gex Europe). Pilot"s Is there any way to put the default atc volume higher then 100? My sound levers are set to 50 and voice to 100 but i can't hear the atc very well. is there a way to get it above 100?/louder? thanx for the help

is there a utility for fsx or p3d where you can say pause my sim xxx miles out from specified airport? looking for something for GA stuff and was wondering if something like that even exists? similar to Pause at TOD but only where it doesnt care about flight plan but rather checks distance? anyone know anything like that?

Hi, I currently own REX 4 HD. When I bought, I did not realise it didn't have it's own weather engine (my own fault for not researching properly!). I'm still confused as to whether it's actually running in FSX- I have created a theme and installed it into FSX, but under weather conditions I have no idea what to pick. Does FSX use the REX textures if I, say, choose 'building storms' or it's own default textures? Anyway, I realise I need a proper weather engine, and will probably opt for ASN as everyone seems to rave about it. I am off to the Duxford Battle of Britain Air show this weekend, which I am sure will inspire me to want a Lancaster Bomber to add to my planes. Has anyone got the First Class Simulations product? As its quite an old model now what are you opinions on it compared to aircraft released over the last few years? Or are there any freeware or payware alternatives out there anyone can recommend. Hello, I don't really know where to post this, as I have no idea of where it can come from, I hope someone had this issue before and can guide me... The issue I have is with surface winds: let's say I pick up any airport with a pure north-oriented runway, and I setup crazy crosswinds at 90º (by crazy I mean 75kts, this is how far I've come to check this). When I take off from the runway no wind drift happens AT ALL, I mean zero, until I climb and reach 1000ft or so, then a sudden drift does happen according to the wind setting. Hello All, This is not a new issue but I cant seem to find a definitive answer and am hoping that someone can point me in the right direction. I am running FSX with Acceleration. Apart from a few airplanes, landing lights no longer illuminate runways. The runway lights themselves are all OK. The only scenery addition i have is ORBX Europe scenery. I have had two recent airplane additions - Aerosoft Twin Otter Extended, and Majestic DHC8-Q400 - nothing else. The same problem exists with these two airplanes. FSX settings are set to illuminate runway. Can anyone offer any suggestions other than a complete FSX reinstall. Thanks, Mike

I recently "upgraded" to FSX SE and added a lot of Mega Scenery states with no issues. I really want to add aircraft as well, mainly commercial, but a few civil as well. 1. Can MS FSX aircraft add ons work in SE version? 2. Can both versions install on same machine at same time, and be handled as separate files for future mods? 3. Tried to install Gold Version FSX, but got "error occurred" message. The SE version runs consistently 40+ FPS no matter how high I set detail levels, plenty of horsepower in my set up. Just wish I had that much horsepower in my technical skills. Thanks Bob

Hi all, After starting a flight, I sometimes experience that the view mode switches every 5 - 10 seconds from VC to outside view then to spot plane and back again in the same sequence. When I shut down FSX-E and start again, it does not happen anymore. Could somebody please advise how to prevent this? Thanks Hanss

I bought a boxed version of FSX Deluxe years ago. Since I don`t have a DVD drive on my new PC, can I save money of buying one and download the FSX trial and enter my FSX activation key or would it be not valid? Thanks.

Hello All Recently I have been running into problems with my Aerosoft Airbus A319 (my favorite commercial plane) that seems to have started out of nowhere. Now to be sure I'm pretty much asking the forum to put on your FSX "NTSB" hats. Hi all, Sonoma is my first payware airport from Orbx although this happens on all payware airports specifically UK2000. When I reach 1000ft and look down at the airport all the shadows underneath the static aircraft flicker really bad. If i fly around the airport under 1000ft the problem doesnt occur. It's a really annoying issue especially on approach and final. Not sure what info you need to help because I realise this might be linked to my AA settings and graphics drivers etc. I have FSX steam edition installed along with the latest NVIDIA drivers. i have tried older NVIDIA drivers as well and the problem hasn't gone away. I have FSX Gold a fresh reformat and install of windows 10 and a fresh install of FSX Gold When I'm full screen I can see the menus, but no pop up dialog boxes UNLESS I'm in windowed mode, than all is good. any fix or something I'm not doing? thanks

Recently got terminally fed up with the behavior and slowness of my OS and decided to do a reinstall of win7 x64 Pro. Since I was doing a reinstall, I treated myself to a 500gb SSD. Have been happily amazed at the improvement in performance. My FSX addon files were not perfectly organized, so lately my new 'game' is organizing everything with validated serial numbers etc. In the process I have been reminded that to reinstall some software, I have to validate via the internet with the selling company that I actually own the software. Which means if the company goes out of business, I have nothing. Also, the number of MBs for all this stuff is climbing and with it …

Anyone know of a good Shorts 360 available for FSX? Only one I've been able to find is by Premier Aircraft and it doesn't look too bad but it is a little dated and if there is something newer out there I would like to give it a try.

Hello, I have installed the Jacksonville KJAX scenery into FSX Scenery Library, but I do not see any terminal buildings. I read about the AIG scenery and added it to the Scenery Library (not sure if that was correct); if this scenery is the reason for my problem, can anyone help me solve this and advise me where to place the AIG scenery? On the Baron 58 when should the cowl flaps be opened and closed?

Hi guys, I'm experiencing some problems trying to re-install Pmdg's 747. Never had any problems with the NGX or T7 from Pmdg. The 747 somehow got corrupted as when I tried to get it ready for take off the gauges would just switch off. I uninstalled and re-installed it again having exactly the same reaction, gauges switching off. I even checked that all switches were on and so on. I downloaded again the 747, but no joy. Now my questions are: blems a. The download is just over a year old, although I re-installed just before and after one year. I read somewhere that these downloads are only for a year.
