In FS9, ( FS2004 ), I would scroll through my camera views, beginning with 2D panel. Next view would be VC, followed by the external views of the aircraft. In FSX, it seems I'm forced to choose between the 2D panel view, or the VC, ( and I can only get the one I've chosen ). I know I'm at fault here. There's no way FSX is less versatile than FS9 used to be. So, can you PLEASE tell me "how" to get all my camera views back, and in the same order that I had them before? Please? I am thinking about doing a reinstall for FSX-SE but can't find any information on their website as to how it can be done. I have found with addons purchased from them that if you disable it in your Steam account and then remove the scenery it will reinstall it again when you next start the sim and it updates. Can anyone tell me if that works for the whole sim??? Or is there a different or better procedure to use? Thanks Ian

Hiya No doubt there is no simple answer to this, but here goes. I generally fly the Aerosoft Airbus When taking off, I generally set the Alt to 7000 as I seem to remember it in the tutorial but not sure why and when do you change that, I assume when you are approaching that altitude? When at TOD, what Alt do i set to start my decent? And how do I come up with that Alt? I have been (And no doubt wrongly) setting it for about 6000 and then when close'ish to the ils i start getting down to the proper glideslope. Obviously I need to take into account any obstructions, but base your answers maybe on a very straight forward take off and approach I tried…

Greetings everyone, i'd like to purchase my first ORBX airport. It must be on PNW, but there is a lot to choose so i'm a bit lost. The idea is get a home base, a place where i can spend flying practicing patterns and do quick flight when I'm with limited time (happens a lot). I have a modest PC, which handles PNW well, so the performance is important to me. I think I'm looking for a private airport, but i do not discard the regional ones. If the airport has an Hangar where i can spawn or park the plane inside, it's a plus for the inmersion. The sorrounding is important, but i check that on Google Earth. Thanks for reading!

Two questions on the fokker jets 1: I have downloaded the project fokker f28 - is there any panel out there that would be useable in fsx for the f 28? I know it's a longshot. 2: I also have the digital avation F 70/100 and at one time there was a midway airlines repaint available but I can't find it now. I know this question has been asked before but I didn't find any satisfactory answer one way or the other. Anybody have a clue if this repaint is still available? {Another longshot}

This is my first post so I'm hopefully it's in the right place. Yesterday I updated to Windows 10 from Windows 8. I have the XXX FSX AI Traffic installed on FSX. It worked perfectly on Windows 8 but since I updated I have a problem. When I have "Preview DirectX 10 disabled it works with my AI Traffic but but the screen which shows escape flights and setting up fspassengers isn't visible, it's just a black screen. When I have "Preview DirectX 10" enabled, it solves this problem but a lot of the AI traffic become just white aircraft. Does anyone know what the problem is? I've tried to run it in compatibility mode, but that doesn't seem to do anything?

So I installed all of the world of ai packages to flight simulator x and have gotten what I though to to be good results. However I noticed that the amount of planes at my local airport almost doubles when it is dark outside. For example at midnight the airport is completely full while during the day there is about 1/3 as much traffic What is going on?

1) Since using FSX-SE, I cannot add new scenery using FSX Scenery Library from Settings. When I want to select the new folder, nothing happens. 2) In the past (pre-SE) I have solved this problem by using Scenery Configuration Editor. Now when using SCE, all my entries in the Scenery List indicate "path does not exist". I can go an edit each path for each individual scenery, but there are over 200 of them. Any way out of these situations ?

Greetings, I prepared a brief, unscientific comparison of ITT performance between a variety of aircraft. At issue is if ITT increases or decreases with altitude due to thinner air. Hello Everyone, Is there a way (or procedure) to add a radio and transponder to an aircraft. (Pop up is fine). You may say, it sounds silly to add a radio and transponder to a Stearman. But, I sat in one (Stearman) yesterday and owner has transponder and radio installed. Would love to add these, so I can practice VFR communication with VoxATC 6 while flying Vertigos Stearman. Hello, I recently purchased and installed Drzewiecki Design's New York Airports X, which includes JFK, LGA, EWR and 3 other smaller airports. When I loaded up at night at KEWR, I noticed the lighting for the taxiways, runways and aprons to be way too bright, and not look proper at all. A little frustrated, it seems no one has an answer for an issue with Aerosoft Mega Airport Berlin Brandenburg. As the pics below illustrates, there seems to be an issue with the elevation. I and two others have posted on the Aerosoft forum and so far one has opted to uninstall the airport, the other apparently fixed his problem by eliminating a .bgl from MyTraffic, which I do not have. My question is; has anyone seen this and found a fix? Here are the links to the other posts, hopefully this isn't against the rules. My post, 1st post and second post. Hello Can you tell me how I can use my Saitek Switch and Multipanel with the Airbus A320 from Aerosoft. I have LINDA, FSUIPC and SPAD. The Linda module for the Airbus and FSUIPC Mouse Macros don't work so can you help me please. I have no experience in SPAD so I need help there too. Thank you! Pablo

After a 9 month hiatus from flightsimming, I've begun to get back into things. I have GEX and UTX, but now I want higher quality detail in my airports. I really liked the FSDreamTeam set (in terms of the quality as well as the list of available airports). While researching, I came across Aerosoft's AES. I don't understand how AES can offer airports at such low prices. Do they have watered down versions of the airports? Can someone please explain to me the difference between AES airports and standalone airports.

Hi I have just installed FSX-SE and have added numerous WOAI Aircraft. I checked the directory C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes and all of the aircraft are listed. Does anyone know why these are not showing up when running FSX_SE??? Hi Guys; Hope this is the right forum to ask this. I recently bought FSDT "KIAD" and installed it with the included self installer. It seems to work just fine. However,when I open a new session of FSX,I get the following message; "Scenery.cfg file error.Invalid Remote Scenery path in Scenery area 134. I checked my Scenery Library in the Settings area and find Area 134 is "Default Scenery" Clicking on the message removes it,and the Sim seems unaffected,but the pesky thing just keeps re-appearing before every session. Hi I need some help please. I am using FSUIPC latest version for FSX. What's happening is my rudder is being controlled by the rudder pedals and the flap control lever too and some of my switches are doing things I never set them up to do. Is there a way to completely get rid of all of the settings, buttons, levers, and everything else? I have done all of this stuff in FS9 tons of times and virtually no trouble at all. Has anyone else had this problem? If so I would be pleased to hear from them when possible please. Thanks in advance.......John

Has anyone found (or is working on) updated scenery for KORD to incorporate the new runway and control tower? Presumably modified using ADE, as opposed to updated commercial scenery. I've been searching, but uncovered nothing so far. Thanks.

Folks, this may have been addressed moons ago but yet to find a remedy. My pre-defined altitudes are plugged in and autopilot engaged; however, when the altitude is reached the Altimeter dances up and down and won't level the aircraft to the pre-defined altitude entry. I usually click autopilot button a few times until the altimeter "calms down" and finally catches the altitude and levels but that is annoying. I noticed on my Vistaliners 727's and DC-9's and some others but would like any input on what to adjust in Aircraft config or is it something else?..can't find a solution yet... First of all, I am getting excellent performance using FSX:SE on my old rig ( same processor since 2011 ), but new graphics card ( GTX 960 4 GB ), and could even not touch the configs, or Nvidia Inspector, but I followed AVSIM's Guide, and made just a few adjustments. In the end of the tweaking ( not more than 10 minutes spent ) IO am getting great FPS and smoothness in PMDG 777, NGX, A2A all modules, with ASN injecting it's great weather. I also have ORBX FTX Global, and my only add-on airport is Madeira X from Aerosoft.
