hi, there was an additional sound replacement sound pack for the majestic dash 8, from mattias feltenbacher i think. it was available from the majestic homepage but the download link from majestic homepage is dead. after new install i am missing that files a lot, it gaves the prop more intensity.. does anyone know, where i can find that file again or does anyone have it ? thanks

I had something strange that never occured before out of my 4 years of FSX flight simulating. While doing a flight from KATL to KLAS at 34,000 feet, which I have done several times in the past, over Arkansas, a long portion of the state over my route was covered with black squares below me. I checked the forums and the only thing I could find is that it could have been caused by DX10 or FTX Global, which I don't use. I do keep my computer updated and defragmated regularly and use System Mechanic. While this was the first time that it happened and hopefuly will not a to be a cronic problem, can anyone tell me what could have caused it? The black squares seemed to be…

I did a clean reinstall of FSX this afternoon. Now every time I load it it ask me for my MSFS FSX activation key even though I have re-entered it at least 7 times. How do I stop this from happening, I am using Windows 10. Thanks

Hi! I use OpusFSI for real weather as well as the cameras. That works for me quite well. However, I am interested in flying some times with completely custom weather. So REX Weather Architect looks very attractive for this. But, if I decise to get it, I would like to get the weather from REX Weather Architect, while using the cameras and TrackIR integration from OpusFSI. So my question is: can the weather functionality of OpusFSI be temporarily deactivated such that I can use another weather engine without losing the rest of the OpusFSI functionality? Looked in several places and could not find a discussion on this subject. Ideas?

Hi, I'm new to flight simulation, but have put in a lot of hours over the past few weeks. I have FSX with REX, GEX, UTX and FTX-PNW, and am very much enjoying it all. I've gotten pretty decent with all the small planes like the Cessna 172 and the Cub, and so forth. I sim on medium difficulty. Upon going through the various lessons and missions, I came upon the 'Telluride Landing' mission, which says it's 'Beginner' class, but I was lost. I found the How to fly the Lear45 in the learning center area, but it no way explains the 45's instrument panel. I've searched google high & low using various search terms, but so far haven't found anything that simply goes over this …

Hi all, I don't understand whats going on with the instant replay in FSX. I am using FSX Steam Edition and set up a flight from Cardiff to Bristol airport. I took off and landed ok and then went to instant replay to watch the flight. It asked me to enter the seconds up to 618 which I assume is the number of seconds the replay/flight lasts It starts the replay ok at Cardiff Airport and takes off and starts to fly over the severn river. Then is just cuts back to my current position in the game (ie landed at bristol). It doesnt show the rest of the flight and landing. However what is bizarre is that when I select instant replay again and this time enter 6…

Hi. Ive just started to learn the Majestic Dash 8 and think it is a fantastic piece of software, however on a flight yesterday I kept having a few problems. 1. I was on a flight From Manchester (egcc) to Amsterdam (eham) Using the FMC to fly the Flight, At Random times the Autopilot kept Disconnecting and put the Aircraft in to a turning Descent (not a dangerous descent in the sense it was within the descent range) this occoured about 3 times throughout the Flight without any changes by myself to the Flight Controls. 2. I've noticed on some You Tube videos the windows have dirt or rain drops. I tried a search but came up empty. How can I get that effect ?

so i was flying along in a2a cessna 172 and i wanted to take a look at the gps so i pressed and nothing happend so i tried the shortcut key for it nothing happend i right clicked around the screen and i found out that i could undock the gps so i presed undock it it popup. i tried with other aircraft the same hope u can help me! I need some reason to fly, which means I struggle with something like the wonderful RealAir Duke, which is almost totally owned by private flyers, retired professionals, etc. I find it very hard to keep up any enthusiasm for that kind of A to B pleasure/leisure flying and lose interest straight away. Ohh how I wish RealAir had modelled the 208 Caravan instead! I guess I’m not just flying, but playing a ‘role’, imagining I am someone flying for a reason. I really struggle otherwise. I guess my Googling skills are as good or as bad as anyone else's but I can't find any proper scenery for OMDW for FS9 or FSX - there is just a small file in Flightsim for FS98 and (I seem to recall) a very, very minimalist one for FSX... Hello All, I'm facing a problem with Congonhas (SBSP) airport on foggy weather only. The issue is that the airport lights are reflecting on the ground as small semi-transparent squares and, in addition, these squares can be seen miles away from the airport, in the middle of the fog - as you can see in the pictures. If someone knows how to resolve the issue, please help me.

I just installed FSX.SE, i had issues with addons but have resolved the problem(s), i now and have had issues with screen flashing and hesitating from the beginning i have re-installed FSX.SE five times thinking it would help no luck......these are the things i have noticed, every time i use my mouse (Synaptics Pointing Device) or external mouse (Corsiar) in the cockpit to do anything from altitude,speed,course change ect. when i use the left mouse button that seems to activate the flashing ect, (after 10-15 secs) it settles the more i use that button the longer the issue will last, when i use my right mouse button i can do anything from altitude adjustment from 100 ft to…

Hi community, I'm hoping to get a few pointers on what scenery to load for my next iteration of FSX please. Unfortunately, my sim recently crashed, and I was planning a reinstall anyway. But I'm especially looking for advice in this case, should anybody care to advise me as to what is the best items to purchase. First off, I am somewhat limited in the amount of free time I get to fly my sim; usually only about twice per week. Within that, I am confined to flights that max out at about 2 hours or so. I think most of us would agree that FlyTampa have consistently been the "gold standard" of payware scenery producers. They have now raised the bar even further. They have just released major updates for the amazing VHHX Kai Tak retro scenery and contemporary CYUL Montreal, Canada. The updates are free for all existing customers. Both of these sceneries were already top notch, and in the case of Kai Tak, absolutely groundbreaking. But now they are even better, with features I have never seen before in FS. I sometimes wonder why there was never a product to update all of the airports included in default FSX/ FSX:SE / P3D, plus navaids Worldwide and magnetice declination. Of course I am aware of Hervé Sors excellent fereware offer for the magdec, many aitrports can be also downloaded for free, but I mean, a package that would put your data in FSX, for the whole World, up to date, with the new runways, less those closed since FSX database was created, plus all of the World navaids ( stations only... ) and airspaces ?

I am waiting to update my 777 Professional. Mine was bought as a DVD from Just Flight, and when I visit the Operations Center, I am told I have 5 new messages, all to do with updates. When I click on these, they say that the online version can be updated but are working on the DVD version. Could you possibly shed some light on this? My biggest beef is the delay in reverse thrust activation; it seems to be programmed to not be available until the nose wheel is on the ground.
