Hello i had a opusfsi and ihave a problem with strong crosswind on final. It's so annoying when i disconnected the autopilot but at 500-200 agl suddenly i had a strong crosswind. I already enabled disabeld weather on approach. But it 's not help my problem. Can somebody give me a solution? Thankyou guys

Update. All soughted. They must have added it as i was typing here LOL Bought some store bucks that i was going to email to a friend yesterday. Transaction was fine but there is no listing on the site at all. It says that there is info on the right side of the page of the total amount you have but there is nothing. Is there anyway to save a flight and have the AC load in it's previous configuration? As it is now every time I save a Flight in FSX the AC loads in a Gate mode meaning that the engines aren't on and I fall like a rock from the sky!

Hi all, I'm trying to configure my water to look the way I want now that I've reinstalled FSX Steam. I have FSWC up and running and all works well, except for the actual water itself. No matter what settings I apply, the water doesn't change in FSX. The Water20.fxh file does get updated (new timestamp after I run FSWC and apply settings), but nothing in the sim changes. Things To Know (based on searching the issue) - I have made sure to press 'Apply' - All my paths are set correctly and there is no other version of FSX installed (i.e. boxed) - I have water set on Low 2.x in the sim, which should be sufficient to render the changes What I have tried -…

I'm on Windows10 and running FSX:SE on a twin monitor setup, managed by a single NVIDIA GT520 card and a Trigger External Graphics adapter. My NVIDIA settings have been tweaked with NVIDIA Inspector - but its months since I touched these settings. Everything has been working well since moving to from FSX Gold to FSX:SE, including an upgrade from Win7 to Win10, until these last two weeks. Nearly 400 hours in the last two years, with 150 in FSX:SE - mostly flawless. I run ASN on my second monitor with FSX:SE in windowed mode on my primary monitor. Hi everyone, If I change the amount of fuel in the Fuel & Payload menu, where does Fs store this fuel data ? It is not in the aircraft.cfg file like the payload ... In the [fuel] sector of the aircraft.cfg file you only will find the max amount of fuel the tanks are able to contain. Those numbers never change. Thanks in advance, Gerard

Is there a way to start other than on the runway when you select Free Flight eg at a gate or hangar? Also can you change the default aircraft and location for free flight?

Hey everyone, I'm just curious about this, and if there's a way to fix it. Although this is in the wrong forum, I know it will have more of a chance to get some insight. So on the wilco/ft erj, how am I able to start the engines without having to turn the packs off? And it doesn't seem to make a difference whether I turn the hydraulic pumps on, I could leave them off the whole flight and it wouldn't matter. Is this just things that weren't simulated? i configured my panel as i had on my previous version with alieron and mouse how ever i can see tiller move in cockpit the wheels are not and thus cant make any turns etc, anyone see this? worked before. seems like tiller is disconnected from main wheel, i make turns see it turn in cockpit but aircraft is not turning. let me know.

Last night I was trying to shoot ILS approach in Dash 8 Pro. I intercepted localizer and hit APR button on autopilot. Autopilot held localizer only but didn't follow glideslope. Is there something else has to be turned on in approach mode so that autopilot follow LOC+GS? Thanks

Although I don't have many hours on it yet (been keeping busy on a different platform), about two months ago I made the switch over to FSX:SE. I'd bought it for a whopping $5 during the Steam Xmas sale, and I since I had developed a need to move to a bigger 'sim' hard drive, I figured I should try it out. Well, all good... except for one little tiny issue that started to get under my skin... The current version of FSX:SE starts at the 'Home' screen each and every time. Which is bad enough, but it also throws three scripting errors at me, asking my permission to continue running scripts. Hi All, Sorry if this has been asked before but can FSX and FSX-SE reside on the same hard drive without any conflicts. I would hate to do away with FSX and switch over and find out that there are problems. Also, how about if I install SE on a separate HD. Would that be any better? Thanks for any info. Jim

Hi- Having a bit of issues trying an HGS takeoff-probably just me not understanding the manuel or what, but I cannot figure it out. Which ILS frequencies do I tune? The one from the runway i'm taking off from (e.g runway 5's frequency for taking off runway 5)? The one from the oppposite end? Both? And, which radio do I put it in? The setting all the speeds is fine, I can handle that. Same for setting the NAV sources. Its just the "which frequency do I tune, and where" that is stopping me. This is a fabulous aircraft, and I love the HGS landings. Just the takeoffs that are eluding me.

Hi All, I recently noticed a sudden change at EGGP which I use regularly, in that the Runway lights are out of alignment with the actual runway - see pic.I can't seem to find any other occurrences, but has anyone experinced this? HI I went for a fly today and found some nice foggy conditions thanks to REX4 but then noticed below flat 2d white areas. They exist at the same altitude and I can just about see through to the ground below. Can anyone explain how to fix this? Many thanks Mark

Hi guys I have a big problem with rudder, practically I can't steer the aircraft. My joystick is calibrated via FSUIPC and rudder axis is perfectly assigned and calibrated and it moves from left (-16883) to right (16883) without any issues in FSUIPC. But in the sim the the rudder of all my aircrafts moves very little, I can see that the range extension is not complete as usual. And this happens with all aircrafts. Have you got any suggestion?

Hello all, During my first flights with the Pro version I encountered a few weird things that in my humble opinion ought to be corrected: - Moving the condition levers from the fuel cut-off position to the engine start position requires a lot of attempts. Often it's only possible to get them there by moving them separately to max, and then back. - After expanding the screen of the radio control panel for the TCAS test, the screen cannot be returned to the normal state with the 'exp' button. Only switching the panel off and on again helps. - The 'tune app' feature on the FMS does not work. the ILS frequency has to be tuned manually. I'm curious as to whether …
