Hi. So a few days ago. FSX was working fine. I came to start up FSX this afternoon and the program won't even get pat the loading splash screen. The only two recent things I have installed are: The PMDG 777 update Earth Simulations Isle of Man photoscenery Now, I uninstalled both of the above to see if they were causing the error but I am still having the same problems. Here is a screenshot of the error report. I appreciate any help but I fear I may have to do a total clean install of fsx :( Callum.

I started experiencing issues many weeks ago of severe stutters when taking off at San Diego's KSAN airport. So before I start posting details, hours of tests I performed and all that stuff, I just wanted to see if others using Henrik's great add-on might experience a similar issue at that location? Hi friends, :smile: I have FSX Gold and FSX Steam but I have only the Gold installed on my PC. I have PMDG 737 Ngx and Concorde X I want to migrate to FSX Steam as I have various addons lined up for the steam. Concorde X is still not steam compatible so I am a bit hesitant to move to steam without it. And since I have spent most of my time with the Gold I just dont feel like closing my association with the Gold Edition. So I have planned to retain my FSX Gold as my secondary Simulator and Steam as my Primary Simulator. This way I will keep Concorde X on Gold and rest of my addons except Concorde X on Steam. Howdy, During the landing, right after announcement of "minimums", just before touch down I get warning message "flaps, flaps". Given that Q400 in complete landing configuration Vref is set, what else could be wrong? Thanks

Installed two scenarios Ponta Delgada the TropicalSim and Fortaleza Brazil Paulo Ricardo something strange is happening I get no functions to change the visualization both the Ezdock or the keyboard stops working already uninstalled and the default scenarios happenns to me same which will be. Look's like I have to do a system recovery. Since I'm starting clean I'm wondering which drive to use for FSX. I have the C Drive, E Drive 250 gb ,The F drive which is a WD External hard drive 1tb. I'm thinking using the F Drive exclusively for FSX and maybe putting everything Mega Earth on the E drive. I have a ton of payware scenery and aircraft. If God forbid , I have to do a recovery down the road, putting most of the FSX downloads on the external hard drive could be an extra bonus.

Is there any definitive way to tell if I am seeing FTX Trees HD in FSX:SE? I own many ORBX products (from flightsimstore) but this is the first time I purchased an add-on from Steam (FTX Trees HD). Given that it was a steam version the product did not make the changes to FTX Central v2 that the ORBX manual talks about. In other words in FTX Central I see "Use Orbx Trees" but there is no entry for "FTX Trees HD". So I am not sure whether to leave "Use Orbx Trees" checked or unchecked in FTX Central. Is there a very specific and clear way to tell if the new tree textures are loaded in the sim? I have tried with and without "Use Orbx Trees" checked and I really can not tell …

So I just got my system updated and went to download the 737 liveries and the PMDG site says I can get them through the operations center app. I looked and don't have that. Any ideas on how to get it?

So, I upgraded to WIN 10, and I can get FSX to load fine, after some .CFG rebuilding and shader resetting. However, my gauges even on the default C172 or PMDG 777 don't appear, and I also cannot click on anything but the control yoke. I've been searching forums but can't seem to find a fix. Any help would be appreciated. I'm really trying to keep from reinstalling as it takes forever for my FSX to work like I have it set up.

Hiya I have what seems to be a weird issue None of my paid for addon airports have water effects on the ground yet all my default ones do. I thought it would be the priority of each scenery, but that does not seem to be it after mucking about with it I have: Aerosoft Corfu (LGKR) Aerosoft Innsbruck (LOWI) The weirdest one is my UK2000 Gatwick latest version which looks like it is trying to show water but all it is is swirly textures. Is this right or should I be getting water effects on these airports? Thanks Paul

Hi all, I have recently started flying the Quality Wings BAe 146 and think it is a fantastic add-on, however I have one problem with it I cannot solve and would appreciate some advice on. I use FSBuild (v. 2.4.019) to plan my routes, however when I try to insert that route into the FMC as a company route it says it is not in the database. I have checked that the file is exported to fsx.xml and tried the Quality wings 757 but it said it cannot be created. I have flown one successful route by FMC but I had to enter all of the waypoints myself which was quite a long, laborious process. Could someone please help me sort this problem, or let me know of any fixes if any are…

Hello everyone first my computer is : AMD FX 8350 4.0GHz GTX 750 Ti GSKİLL 8 gb 1866MHz 650W PSU ASUS M5A97 R 2.0 First ı was getting 20-30 fps then I reinstalled windows and now I'm getting only 20 fps not more Fps is locked to 20 It 's not dropping as well. I didn't installed any third party products except pmdg 777&737ng .And the strange thing when I overclock the cpu to 5.0ghz fps drops to 10-15 fps.I'm using xxxxx's guide.I'm using nvidia inspector too. I've tried google a few times, but haven't found a definite answer. Does anyone know if the Leonardo Maddog 2010 is compatible with FSX:SE? And how is the graphics compared to the CLS MD-80? Unfortunately I just missed the sale. Otherwise I would just have bought it and taken the chance... But at full price I don't feel like gambling :-) Thanks.

Hi, Some time ago I heard or read about an addon program for FSX that enhances the sounds of traffic at FSX airports thus enhancing realism for aircraft spotting. Does anyone knoe the name of this program? Thanks. Tom

I'm having a problem with the standby nav/comm frequencies. Instead of ending in "0", the standby frequency ends in "1" and is unusable for tuning, switching to primary, etc. I'm using FSX Acceleration with Windows 10. Any help appreciated. Reggie 270@22 from KNPA

My current system specs are AMD Vishera 4.2 GHZ CPU not overclocked 8gb Ram EVGA 970 GTX GPU 750 watt Corsica PSU not overclocked. If I install any of the ORBX products into FSX and FSXSE will I see a loss of smoothness and FPS. I currently with T2G KSEA and PMDG 777 and WOI at 50% get 25FPS/ Thanks Randy Smith

Just installed FSX Deluxe. I went to the SDK folder to install GMAX. The problem I am now having is getting a valid key/code. When I press the link there is no Discreet website any longer. Does anyone know how I can locate a code/key. Regards Randy Smith

Hey Pilots! A few weeks ago I installed the awesome Klagenfurt LOWK scenery made by Manfred Marbler. But unfortunately I get this weird flickering apron textures - see the video https://youtu.be/PU9wd7E9DwY I dont use DX10 on my FSX Gold Edition. But I use AS2012 textures, but I have abolute no problems on other Airports... Any Ideas? Kind regards,

For as long as I've had Windows 10 and perhaps before with Windows 7, I could always count on at least one (1) CRASH TO TASKBAR per flight. I could recover by clicking rapidly on the icon that minimized in the taskbar, then hit P for unpause the flight and go on. I could never figure out why this happened. I tweaked the config so much, and re-built the config so much that I was totally frustrated with the inability to correct the annoying problem. Well, I've fixed it! I've tested it now over 8 flights since the fix, and there are no more crashes to taskbar.
