Using FSX and Steve's DX10 Fixer. Started experiencing some stutters and the annoying white flashes in the sea especially when the aircraft is below 2500 feet. Noticed this after I installed FTX Vector. I deleted the sub directories in the Shaders folder so that FSX starts rebuilding them again. To my surprise FSX is not re-building the Shaders folder after several reboots of the sim. Hi, For some reason none of my G1000 equipped planes will follow the magenta line when I switch to Nav. I navigate to the line using Hdg Hold but upon reaching the line and switching to Nav, the plane veers off course by about 50° and just keeps going. If I navigate using the GTN 750 it works fine. I removed the 750 from several planes and tried with just the G1000 but get the same results. This happens with Carenado planes, F1 Citation Mustang and Kingair. Haven't tried them all but I expect the same thing will happen. If I fly the Q400 and fly with the FMS, it follows the route perfectly. I have the following on my C:\ drive, FSX Gold with FSUIPC non-registered plus many FSX Addons eg. Aircraft, scenery etc. I now wish to transfer FSX and FSUIPC together with the addons to a new SSD drive. Could someone please explain how I can do this in a safe and easy manner. I am not very computer savvy so a simple explanation would be most welcome. OS is Win 7.

I've just installed a new copy of Pic 737 Evolution on my new computer. It runs well, but I can't enter the radio frequency of 109.5 for arrival airport Heathrow 27L. I used to click on the radio frequency button, but nothing moves, when I do this with the new PIC 737. Any ideas? Peter Sydney Australia

Aircraft PMDG 7772LR About 2.5 hours out in the dark of the night, halfway to PHNL the sound all the sudden went mute. When I made my way to the desk top the Menu Bar said (Not Responding) so I clicked on the panel to see if it paused but the PC was already froze up and I had to END TASK to close it. It has happened in daytime flights as well. This happen even with my Ifly 747 when attempting to do USA to Europe/.Asia flights over water. I can fly trans-cons without an issue with my 737 747 and even the 777. It always happens over water. Does anyone have a clue as to what is happening. I just installed The level d 767 On fsx:se. It went on well but many things dont work e.g. Autopilot Panel. I cannot Press anything On the AP panel. E.G. VNAV, LNAV, SPEED, HEADING,Altitude Help Is appreciated! :smile: :smile:

I heard that the SDK is included with Steam. I did not buy the deluxe version of FSX 8 years ago. Which folder is this located in with STEAM. Thanks Randy

I have a question that maybe someone in here can answer. I don't understand why some Posky 737 I'm able to steer the front wheel and others can't and there are a lot other models that don't, I feel that it just look more realistic when it does, maybe there is something that I can change in the CFG. I have to choose an ATC program to use with FSX SE. I believe that long ago I used Radar Contact, but I'm not sure... I also know there are yet other alternatives (Pro Atc X ) . VoxATC from the videos I saw in youtube had a very interesting and didactic feature - it shows in a window what you're supposed to say next to the ATC agent you're contacting... Well, I look fwd for your suggestions :-) Yes I know the best way would be to go VATSIM or the like, but, that's not an option for me right now ...

Can anyone please help with advice on how to get MY6 working in FSX-SE? I had it successfully installed in P3D but it was such a long time ago, I've lost track of how I did manage to install it. Also how do I get it to show up in the Scenery.cfg? I don't see any AI traffic like I did in P3D. Any tips/advice appreciated. Did a search of it here but nothing shows up.

Hi there. So, I have been in FSX for a long time. I have run it off the same computer for about 5 years and it was a basic work station computer and that where I did all my regular simming and filming for youtube. I have now just ordered a new, very powerful computer. The question I have is I currently have windows and FSX on the same HDD in the current computer. I want to have windows be installed on a 250gb SSD for the new computer. So, is it possible to take a hard drive from one computer with windows on it, put it in a new computer with windows on an SSD already, and have FSX run off that HDD on the new computer? Do i have to take windows off that hdd that FSX is on? …

Seasons greetings to the forum. A new problem has just started in my FSX, when the plane loads (ready to fly) it is on the right side of the runway, when you power up to go it veers sharply to the left out of control. All my planes are doing it. I have re-calibrated my CH Fighter stick and I don't use pedals. Any ideas why this is happening chaps ? Cheers, Buster.

Hey Guys I did an OS up reinstall when I added a second graphics card and now I have this problem as pictured.I can't seem to get rid of it, also when the sky looks right there are way too few cloudsThis is a clean install, clean 197.13 drivers, clean config in the default flight over Orbx Friday Harbour and I still can't get rid of it, any ideas.Also I turned Dawn/Dusk Smoothing OffThis system in a Core 17 @ 4.2 with 6 GB ram, WinXP 64, and two GTX 280 video cards in SLI. SLI is disabled currently. I am using nhancer.

OK! My new PC is now running FSX with IFly 737 and 3rd Party airport scenery's very well. (25-35fps) It is now time to add an AI Traffic program and start adding some life to my airports. I am looking at My Traffic 2013 and Ultimate Traffic and would like your opinion as to which to use and why. I know there is a freeware traffic prog in the library but I just want to do a one click install and be done. What are your thoughts. Randy

I've installed BlueSky Scenery's modular scenery with no problems (currently have much of Washington enabled with no problems). I installed some of the LA areas and am having some weird graphics issues at KLAX. Interestingly, this airport is actually cut in half and part of it is provided by one area, while the rest is provided by an adjacent area. Anyways, the issue relates to the ground scenery in the immediate vicinity of KLAX. Upon loading any aircraft at KLAX, the ground is blue and has the FSX logo on it. This tells me that there are some textures missing and so DX10 preview replaces those textures with the blue FSX logo texture. I've tried disabling DX10 bu…

Hello fellow fliers: I have a few question about AI traffic. I have AI Traffic enable, I like the realism of not being the only one around. I don't have a great system, my FPS running high-end scenery and high-end aircrafts are playable at best. I noticed something strange with the AI though. Number one, I need to turn the AI slider to 95% to start seeing international flights and heavy aircrafts, but what comes with it is loads of smaller domestic aircrafts that just kills my frame. Is there a way see heavies at international airports and reduce the number of domestic aircrafts? Number two, I know this has been a long time issue is that the AI lands and stops within…

So, I had a failure of an engine fire. (Cause could have been pilot error, but that's not the question). So, had the alarm go off, pulled the level, discharged the bottle, performed the remaining checklist items.... and nothing. Flame continued unabated and I didn't burn up. Is the extinguishing of the fire modeled/ animated? Clearly burning into a a crisp isn't since I kept flying on one engine with flames from the other one to see what would happen. i would be nice to know if they simulated the recovery as well as the failure. Anyone else had something similar?

cannot get the control panel to operate just doing test with lbs and kg and in. and hg. and spoiler axis after switching between them hit apply then restart with same ac ; no change am I doing something wrong ?

I want to do a cold start flight. Assuming I know the wind direction, I can find the correct runway(s) to take off and land on. How do I find a gate that is close to those runway(s)? BTW, I a newbie to flying heavy's. I have always just used the active runway in flying GA.
