Hi everyone, I fly FSX on a Macbook Pro Retina 15" on Windows Bootcamp. Everything works fine and I get decent FPS, yet I have an issue with sound. The music overlaying the main page stutters and breaks, and the voiceovers for the missions do the same. All other sounds (such as aircraft noises and such) work fine. Please can someone help me out?

Can't decide which one to purchase....what your opinion?

Hi, I own the Majestic Q400 PILOT version. I am interested in the PRO version because I really like the Q400 and I would love the HUD. I currently have a couple of problems using P3D v3.1, latest version and latest Q400 version... 1)When going into the Virtual Cockpit(VC) from any other view (that is not the VC), I have to double-tap "F9" or whatever key I use, because on the first attempt, all the P3D HDR settings are disabled so the colours look strange. Not really a big problem, but slightly annoying. 2)When inside the VC, it appears that only the cockpit and end of wings are modeled. Has anyone thought about converting the beautiful scenery in this simulator into fsx?If yes, then how?

Has anyone got this wonderful little programme to work in FSX SE? I can start it but it does not show any aircraft, only airports. When I generate a flight plan, it is only about 1kb. Many thanks John

Hi folks, I seem to be experiencing an odd failure/crash issue related to a specific add-on aircraft, and I think I've narrowed the problem down to the panel. The aircraft is the Beech 1900D by Premier Air Design. Whenever I attempt to load a flight with this plane FSX crashes ("This program has encountered an error and needs to close" or something to that effect). This usually occurs at the very beginning of the flight loading process, just before or just as the loading bar appears. Occasionally it appears at the very end when the loading bar is complete, or rarely I have been able to load a flight successfully (twice) but as soon as I clicked on the first switch or ga…

I wondering if anyone else has this problem and what I can do to fix it. When flying into airports, sometimes, the buildings in the airport disappear. Only the buildings are gone, the jetways, and runways do not disappear. It happens at both payware add on airports as well Freeware add on airport scenery. It also does not happen all the time. In example, one day I will fly into kjfk and everything is fine, then the next day I fly into kjfk and the buildings are gone. It never happens at the origination airport. Hi Not sure whats happening here but twice in the last month my FSX..cfg has reset itself to default. Since I keep a backup no big deal but just wondering what is going on - whether there's something I am doing by mistake? Welcome any thoughts. Thanks John

I have enabled track ir and run @ high priority. 18 1.00 0.75. I have enabled DHM VC Views and ticked Vibration effects and Rotorcraft. There are no DHM effects in game and the image flashes from one side to the other intermittent and track ir movement is very unstable. Please help.

Whats going on guys, I get this error when I try to open the config tool " Unhandled exception error" after installing FSG2010FTX verstion. I got my flight sim stuff installed on my D drive, my C drive is the main drive on my computer, I don't know if that's got anything to do with it but if anyone has any ideas on how to fix it that would be great. I did look on the pilots website for a solution but they don't even have a fourm so I'm trying to find the solution here. Thanks Lar

I have been having problems with the Citation X crashing my FSX-SE. I've been doing tests all day with Pro ATC , the X and PMDG 737 NGX. I have no problems with the NGX, as a matter of fact i am getting great FPS and smooth as butter. I am using Taxi2gate MUCL, MUCU, airports as test's and flying to LatinVFR KRSW. with the Citation X I can't even get off the ground, FSX-SE comes to a snail pace and then crash. It's like its sucking the life right out of my Brand new build. I don't get it... I love the X, but i can't fly her anymore.... Robert McDuff

Hi guys, Been away from the flight sim world for a few years owing to other persuits. However recently got the pang to get back into it, especially after using my Oculus Rift on other sims and really enjoying it. I left the simming world before P3D had really matured, and long before the FSX Steam version came out. So now I'm left with a little of an issue, which is 'THE' flightsim I should set myself back up with? I recently purchased the Carenado King Air C90B and have great difficulty getting it in trim and holding it stable. No matter what I try the plane is all over the sky. I use the CH products Eclipse Yoke and Pro Pedals and have played with the axis settings to try to improve my flying to no avail. Are there any settings I might change, perhaps in the cfg file, that will improve the stability of the aircraft until I can learn to fly it better?

I am new to this forum and to MS FSX. I have gone into "settings" and did a reset on the controls, num lock is off. Using a Logitec Extreme 3D pro stick. When I try to trim my Cessna 172 using the 7 and 1 keys on the keypad, nothing happens. All the other flight controls work as expected. I just can't trim the plane so I have to fly holding the nose down with the stick. Help greatly appreciated. John

I'm having some new problems, a strange stutter and strange fps drops. I have tried everything to troubleshoot this. Rather than reinstall, I do have a copy of my FSX folder before the problems occured. I want to copy it across, see if it solves my problems. But. Will replacing the FSX folder tree cause problems... will FSX complain? Should I back up and then delete my fsx.cfg and scenery.cfg first so it is compatible. In short - will it work???? !!

Hi and thanks to all responders..............I installed FSX gold to my new computer and loaded up Dream Team JFK and Imagine sim KLGA...I then took a flight and noted that in patches the default scenery was flashing through....For JFK when I was high enough all you saw was the Dream Team scenery for KLGA you still saw the broken up runway taxi ways and gates..........any help to get this right would be much appreciated.... Hello, I recently have problems with my Q400 in FSX-SE and I do not remember what I might have changed. Problem: When I load the Q400 (after loading the C172) the systems start to initialize but there remain 3 failures: PFD: ATT-fail, HDG-fail, IVSI-fail, "Aligning" forever MFD: Oil temperature out of range (something like minus 2 billion degrees) FMS: AHRS input fail Btw, the CoPilot's Display is fine. But, when I load an older saved flight, the Q400 works as expected. I have a fresh install of FSX-SE on a new installation of windows 10. I added in a free-ware scenery of Malaga airport found here in the Avsim library. The scenery shows up fine in the simulator but I noticed on the map it still shows the details of the default scenery (i.e runway 14/32 not 13/31). I also have UK2000 EGKK Gatwick, and thinking about it, when I select a starting position at the gate my aircraft was half buried in a building, so am wondering if somehow the scenery is fine visually (i.e. in the sim) but the map and airport selection screen are showing the details of the default sceneries. I've had a stable rig for a year now, 3.8 Overclocked, GTX 760 card, running three screens on Nvidia Surround. Now, I don't know if its my 'imagination' but I seem to be hitting real fps low points. I use Scenery settings to suit my flight, rarely pushing the sliders past 75% and in Orbx England with UK2000 airports, I pull them back to 50%. In the air I can enjoy fps of 40-50, but on the ground or over cities the fps drops dramatically at times, down to 18, 15, even 10. It makes taxing a real pain. Once in the air, things are great. Hi all, I subscribe to Navigraph and use this in conjunction with avilasoft EFB. Something has been bugging me for a while. Sometimes the ground charts showing stand numbers don't match up with EFB? So I might be at stand 200 according to EFB but a totally different stand according to the ground charts in Navigraph. I use the same airac data for both. Why is this and is there anything I can do about it? Thanks

Hi guys, I've been struggling with this strange issue for some time now and couldn't really find any solution online. Here's what happens to me: on numerous occasions when I start a flight my hat switch wouldn't respond, it appears to be completely blocked. Then if I switch to outside view everything starts to go crazy - camera performs a weird backspin and rotates endlessly, engines of any airplane (doesn't matter default or addon) spool all the way up and that's it for me - all I can do is to shut down fsx. Hello everybody! I got FSX and OpusFSX and it works almost perfect. The only problem is the visibility. In the assistant the data for the visibility looks fine but in the FSX the visibility is always set to 2000 meters. All the other weather parameters are imported as they should. Only the visibility got this problem. Does anyone have an idea how to solve the problem?
