I was wondering if anyone did or willing to do repaints of the Aerosoft Kitty Hawk Aircraft Carriers like Gary Taylor did for Javier's Nimitz to represent: USS Constellation (CV-64) USS Enterprise (CVN-65) USS America (CV-66) USS John F. Kennedy (CV-67)

I fly the Flight 1 ATR-7200 and I am looking for Flight Planning software that will be able to export to the Flight 1 ATR FMC If you import the standard FSX generated flight plan, you still have to manually update the FMC.. PFPX seems to be the Cadillac of the Flight Planning software choices. It may be overkill and also a little too complicated, at least initially.... Although I would like to strive to be as realistic as possible. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hello, Im calling out to you for some help with the Q400. I was flying a flight between EVRA-EDDM. It was in the early to late sunset and I had MipMap enabled in the graphics section. From no where the lower part of VC went complete dark and many clickspots went dead. I did a little research and found at that you need to disable MipMap (very strange according to me). I did that and the VC came back to life. But some of the clickspots where still dead Ex. the rudder trim and the fms. Im using OPUS live camera and DHM. This is the first encounter of this problem. I'm trying to decide which of the two atc programs to get. I am looking for an offline ATC so vatsim etc is out. I tried vox atc, but it took awhile to setup so I only had time to run one successful flight using vox before the trial expired. Pro atc does not have a trial at all. I am flying jets and am looking for an atc for ifr. I run pmdg 737 ngx, UT2, Rex w OD, fs2crew and am using a trial version of EFB. I understand there is some concern that development has slowed with pro atc. It seems like the voices sound more realistic with pro atc. Hello all, I've been running FSX acceleration with ORBX global, PNW, SAK, PFJ, and Tongass Fjords X. Been mostly simulating Alaska Airlines operations up there in the NGX, and so I'd turned scenery complexity and density down a bit for smooth performance. Recently gotten hooked on some bush flying up there with RTMM... such fun, and DAMN they've made some realistic locations! Taku glacier lodge made my jaw drop, it's like really being there... Anyway, flying low and slow of course it's fun to crank scenery complexity and density all the way up. Frame rates don't suffer at all, but I get occasional stutters. I have the FranceVFR Reunion and the FMEE airport from a few years ago. The airport has changed it's name to Roland Garros. No developer has made a new (pay-ware) version as far as I know. There was a developer France Touristique Scenery who made a stand-a-lone version, this company ceased to exist several years ago. Has anyone have any opinions (pro's & con's) about this scenery and if it, despite being a stand-a-lone version, is compatible with the FranceVFR Reunion island scenery or only with the default FSX. Is it possible to get (buy) the France Touristique Scenery version somehow.

Recently purchased the PDMG 777 and coming across a problem with working through the flight checklist screen. 1. When placing the pointer over the screen when activating the checklist on the (V/C) it does not remain steady, it flashes. 2. When click for the pop out screen will not happen. 3. If attempting to work the checklist on the panel screens (left or center) screen it will not flow smoothly through the screen up and down nor allows me to select or advance through the remaining checklists. 4. When activating the crew panel to interact inside the cabin, the checklist flow panel gives me a "SDK ERROR MSG". So far all other functions are responding correctly …

I have this question, does FSPassengersX have a VAS footprint within FSX/P3D, or does it operate outside, resident in 'general' system memory? I have this for FS9, but of course, that has no VAS issues with add-on's. Mitch

I have Shade for FSX installed and have used it for a few years. I have noticed that the current FSX value for fog is not listed (whereas day light and shadows are) and it is a strange pinkish colour. I can change the fog colour in Shade and it works fine and the sky will go dark.. If Shade is not activated the sky in FSX will go dark at night. Restore Backup Values in Shade does nothing.. it is so long ago that I got Shade I cant remember if I did a Backup. However I recently got Active Sky Next and I cannot get the sky to go dark after sunset.. this is one fine model, quite impressed. with the inclusion of the rxp gns530 and the asnext wx radar gauge, it's a great ifr plane. night lighting needed some fixing and now it's one of my favorites. 1. Hi guys, new to the forums, up until yesterday my sim ran great, my scenery looked awesome even in the distance, i had good frame rates 30-40, everything was running smooth but had to reset my computer and start again, after defragging my HHD and reinstalling FSX SE the problem of blurred textures remain, I have tried a ton of CFG tweaks but really stumped on this, i have the smallest circle of clear textures around me then maybe 2 miles out and onward its just awful. Soo when flying into EHAM vas can shoot up from 3,2 GB to 4,0 GB with all the consequences (ctd). I have traffic at 30% although it's still quite busy. Ground Traffic is low and Vehicles (on highways) is on 40%. How do I fix this? When departing most of the time I don't have a VAS problem. ​ Thanks in advance!

I have read thru all of the forum discussions on the FSDT forum page..about the Stuck AI that occurs at KLAX..seems every other aircraft is instructed to line up and wait..however the FSX ATC seems to award clearance for the first aircraft but not the second..in line..it sits and times out!...HAS a FIX been discovered..? This may be old news...but i just recently purchased this scenery..to add to my KDFW and KORD... but right now...it's a headache and painful to watch...an aircraft...vanish into oblivion! Hi All, The mission compass display was designed back when monitors had standard 4:3 aspect ratio displays. Most everyone now has a widescreen monitor, so the mission compass appears stretched horizontally. With some detective work I have found a way to correct it. In your FSX gauges folder, look for the file "missionpanels.cfg" and make a backup. Open it in notepad and scroll down to the [Window00] section. Despite rather standard-looking entries, many are overriden by FSX internal code. For example, the 'window_size' and 'window_pos" entries are totally ignored. So no help in fixing the problem. I'm having a really hard time searching for my topic, and not coming up with anything - so I decided to take a shot at posting. There are 5 of them that I'm using and each one has its own server that it uses to push the data to the devices. I use Zinertek Night Environment for both FS9 and FSX. Is it possible to insert or install the FS9 textures into FSX? I much prefer the FS9 version of Night Environment to the FSX version. I'd also like to do it for daytime ground textures if possible. I like GEP and the one by AFS. Both FS9. I know most of you will tell me to just fly FS9, but I like the new airplane add ons for FSX. I also love DX10. I don't have a high end PC so in order to get constant 30fps at busy airports with a lot of ai, I have to set my graphics and LOD to FS9's level. When I updated to w 10 I lost all my FSX SE files. I still have my purchased FSX SE on Steam. How can I re download FSX to my computer? Is there a way to do it through Steam? Thanks

Something's happened to my FSX program. All of a suddeen, my NAV radio frequencies end in an "odd" number instead of an "even". I can't tune in a VOR or ILS frequency. EXAMPLES: 116.01 instead of 116.00 111.31 instead of 111.30 125.16 instead of 125.15 It's not a real problem if the radio has a standby frequency. The main frequency works correctly. If the aircraft only has one NAV radio with one frequency (military), I can't fly the ILS or tune the VOR. Any help appreciated. I've posted this on several other forums, but no replies. Every time I change the zoom to where I would like it to be and save it when I return to that view it is back to where it was before. Hi community, Firstly, I am not trying to pan Aerosoft, nor am I trying to start any flame wars on this forum, I just really have a single basic question. I do not have the most powerful computer; I have an i5 with 8Gb RAM, a 250Gb SSD, and a 660Ti video card. I am not in a position at the moment where I can upgrade unfortunately. I just want to know if Aerosoft scenery is any harder on a computer than any other freeware / payware out there? I tend to fly a lot of short regional flights in Europe, but at quite a few of the AS airports, I seem to get low frames on final approach.
