This was one of many incidents of American and Canadian cooperation and teamwork. Both countries will forever remember him and his wife.

Hi all, A folder appears in "My documents" , everytime I start the FSX. And it's always empty. I can delete it but it will come back when I start the sim. After having uninstall then install FSX, I have this folder that appears. Thanks !

Flew two Boston to JFK flights tonight. First flight was flown with the Boeing 747-400 and was uneventful. The second flight, on the other hand, was quite interesting. What was normally supposed to be a 30-minute flight ended up lasting over two HOURS with five attempts at landing. The first attempt I didn't like, so I went around. Second attempt, when I was on base, the controller realized he had me too close to a Korean Air Boeing 747-400, so he had me fly on base for a bit longer, then make a 130-degree turn to go on final. First of all, I'm definitely not one of these guys who flies published approaches with VOXatc in my 10 monitor garage setup. So yes, I understand that fsx can be much much more real in terms of ATC than it is. I've read a fair amount of real and fsx atc phrasology and have a general idea as to what the real world is sort of like. That said, my question is this: When you create an IFR flight in fsx and you use the default atc, it more or less tells you what to do. "Climb to.....descend to.....expect vectors for....yadda yadda. I recently took a Singapore Airways flight from LAX to Singapore (17+ hrs.!!). This was on an A340-500 configured for business class only. It's my understanding that Singapore Air will discontinue this run sometime this month. I heard that they were trading in their 340s for 380s and the 380s didn't have the range. Could a 777 do this route?

It's been about three months in the making but here is the final product... I'm getting really good picture quality over three monitors. If I were buying monitors again though I would pay the extra money for IPS panels and 1200 resolution. I use the iPad during flight to go between FS Kneeboard 2 and FS Widgets for real time flight tracking. I found adding the fan on the bottom of the case really helps keep gpu temps down. The stock 140 mm fan was moved to exhaust air out the front. The new 140 mm fan exhausts out the back. All other fans, including the 230 mm side fan not pictured, are drawing air in. Kind of surprising that a major Flight Sim website could be attacked so easily. So tonight, we had people over for New year's eve dinner. They left long before midnight. After that I fired up flight sim, had a few brewskies, played helicopter pilot for few hours, spent some time on Avsim. So now its 2013. I'm feeling older now. The Holidays are over. So this is a time now to reflect. I am starting to view myself just like the way I viewed my parents when I was a teenager. Totally unhip, behind the times, old-fashioned.
