So how was your daily flight? Flight sim stories or real life! Both flights were on QualityWings' Bae-146. I was messing around with Drzewiecki Design Miami and flew a (very) short flight from Opa-Locka to Kendell-Tamiami, but something messed up with the ILS landing on final, as the plane was still 300 ft above the runway over the threshold and since the runway is so short I had to go around. All ended well as I went around and requested the visual approach. Next flight I flew from Crown Point, Tobago to St. Maarten, using LatinVFR's Crown Point and of course FlyTampa's St. Maarten. I know this is not the right place to ask this, but I can't find an answer anywhere. I own REX essential Plus. I want to updrage to Overdrive. How do I do this? On the REX site, there appears to only be the option to buy REX essential with Overdrive as a package. I'm under the impression that he overdrive portion is free? Where can I download the upgrade if there is one? I can't see it anywhere. Thank you so much

I've been an Orbx fan but have heard great things about utx and gex. I'm wondering though what happens if you install say orbx Europe and utx/gex Europe. Will they conflict with each other? Will they run simultaneously?

So, my favorite aircraft by far for FSX and FS9 is the Carenado CT210M. What I'd REALLY like to have is the P210 with a turbine, something like the O&N Silver Eagle. If anyone from Carenado, Milviz, or RealAir is reading this, you now have your new mission. Build this plane!!! Please!! I'll buy two. Thanks!

so as I understand it,, a pilot can not make a profit if he takes me up in his legacy lancair? correct? but he can make me pay him fuel and "rental" cost of the plane, yes? now suppose after the flight I would give him an extra "donation" of $25 - would that be legit?

Hello! So I just got QW's Bae-146, and I have a couple questions (and concerns). Let's start with the questions: Both are fairly stupid 1. Where is the master AP switch? I can't find it :blush: 2. Where do you set the NAV1/2 freq.? Can't find that either (P.S., I can't figure out how to set the NAV1 freq in the Aerosim 787 either...) Also, for a concerns, whenever I change views between the cockpit and the exterior my flightsim freezes for up to 15 seconds, but when it un-freezes it works with little FPS hit... not so sure what that's about. Thanks!

I have a tatty, old, and well thumbed book "Aerodynamics and Propulsion" by Dietrich Küchemann and Johanna Weber. He was responsible for the shape of Concorde's wings! The book is still regarded as the aerodynamicist's Bible! Tonight I noticed the book is going on Amazon for the paltry price of £764!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We just moved into the new house so I set up my FSX rig with a view... Now I get to fly FTX New Zealand North Island with a view of New Zealand. :lol:

I am looking at alternate ways of using charts in the cockpit and right now I am using the conventional big binder paper chart subscription from Jep. I own an ipad and have downloaded JeppFD which looks really good, I'd buy the california package if I do end up getting the subscription. However I found Jeppesen TC also and was wondering what the difference was between the two apps. And if anybody has used these products before and could give me some input as to what they are like. Thanks a lot.
