I have been trying to contact them by phone for the past four days. No answer at any of the listed numbers, not even the order hotline. Sent two messages, one email, but nothing. I have bought a number of things from PC Aviator and always satisfied. Hope nothing has happened to shut off communication. Neal h

http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/story/2012/11/29/france-concorde-conviction-air-france.html It has taken 12 years of his life caught up in the courts so I think he has been through quite a lot by now. I agree he should not be held criminally responsible but do acknowledge he made a very big mistake on that work order.

So the TF39 was made by GE, and was the first high-bypass turbofan. Then there is the JT9D, made by P&W. These engines are both very similar, besides the N1 fan on the TF39. Was there some sort of alliance between the two manufacturers or something during the development of the two engines. It's the same with the TF33 and JT3D. So what's the story???

Hi Guys I'm currently a student pilot, not more than 20 hours so far and I've only really trained at the one flight school. I've been doing more solo flights which tend to kick the mind into "responsibility mode" where I will really take charge and try to take care of everything, and think of how to avoid anything that can go wrong. This causes me some worry however, because now I'm on my own in the cockpit I have time to consider failures more. The ultimate failure I'm scared of is an engine failure after takeoff, because flying in a big city there is almost nowhere to force land. The roads are clogged with traffic, and everywhere else is warehouses, building…

A few years ago I put some items on Craigslist, and when an older gentleman came to pick them up, he noticed my aviation art collection. After a few minutes of conversation I realized I was in the presence of one truly amazing man. He was a retired United 747 Capitan with more than 29,000 hours. He retired before the advent of glass cockpits and had flown 60+ different aircraft. He started his career as a Marine helicopter pilot with HMM-263…the Thunder Chickens. We spent many hours talking over the years and just listening to the stories was an experience mere words can’t adequately express. I would love to hear from others who experienced meeting living lege…

Good morning gentlemen, The upcoming 777 release looks like it will be with us before the end of the year and we are going to revamp the FS2Crew product with new features and completely new voice sets. I am looking for a dozen or so individuals to cover the aspect of the product from Captain down to Cabin Crew and Ground engineers for at least three geographical regions: European British American Ideally the Captain and First Officer positions would be covered by flight crew in the real world [Again, Preferably 777 rated]. A lot of work needs to be done, so I would appreciate this post getting shared to any contacts you may have within…

I had seen the ad, but Bloomber makes a good analysis about it. Not willing to start an A vs B war, these ads are part of a pendulum, Boeing has done exactly the same thing in the past, even on You Tube videos, so this strategy is nothing new for either manufacturer. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-11-26/airbus-ads-jab-boeing-on-new-jets-as-planemaker-rivalry-sharpens.html

Hello everyone, I am quite new to the world of sim'ing, and I have always wanted to try out the sim, but never really got into it before. I am throughly enjoying Eyefinity view (I know Nvidia is good for FSX, but I am stuck with 6970 for forseeable future) with first payware Carenado B200, PNW, GSX+KJFK (with Thanksgiving Discount), and it is just amazing on my desktop. Even though I am quite late to the world of FSX, but wow is all I can say. So now I have a question - and I am quite confused after searching all the forums out there - What is a good tool which will give me lots of ATC Radio chatter while flying in the sim and seeing the planes in the area I am …

I have seen it with my own eyes, but has anyone else here spotted that lone house holding out at Narita Airport in the middle of the taxiway? I think Overland RJAA has even modelled it in their FS2004 scenery. This link has a photo: http://gilygily.com/2011/03/10/6-remarkable-stubborn-nail-houses/ Room with a view: the house stranded in the middle of a brand new Chinese highway Read more: http://www.news.com....3#ixzz2D2EpcgBI

A nice feature in fs9 was that when you went to fs navigator, the sounds of the aircraft would follow giving you the feeling you were still in the game. In fsx, this feature is not available, however some one posted a file this year that was developed for for fsx and I'll be darned if I can locate it. Does anyone what it was called or where I could find it or an equivilant? Canforce

This aircraft will be doing a 1000' flyover at the premeir for the Hobbit film this Wednesday. The largest graphic ever placed on an aircraft. Better shots of it will come out next week I am sure. Air New Zealand Boeing 777 in Hobbit Livery. Looks amazing:

The only international airport in the world that has an off site control tower with a street address. http://www.stuff.co....-spotters-dream http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Next_door_neighbour_-_Control_tower_at_Wellington_Airport,_New_Zealand_19_June_2005_-_Flickr_-_PhillipC.jpg The news item is dated, but I don't doubt they will sell it. Love to live in that.
