4th most stressful job.

Wow being an enlisted Aviation journalist (with firefighting duties) and a second job driving taxis can't be much fun.

I'm actually majoring at an aviation school starting next year to get my degree. I'd like to end up a commercial pilot. Can any real world commercial pilots chime in on this article?

The job isn't so much stressful as it can be a pain to make sure that everything is correct. As the captain you are the sole person responsible with what happens on the aircraft so everything has to go through you. After six days of working I am looking forward to that day off to sleep.

Guess they weren't counting regional pilots.

So true, but the big salary more than makes up for it!

Of course it can be stressful. You are responsible for 100+ people's life. You work overnight, in the mornings. You're tired, but you still need to perform a safe landing.

The funny thing is, self preservation will win out over the 100's of people behind you. In keeping yourself alive most likely the rest of the passengers will as well.
