I just want to ensure that everyone knows, you'll never ever ever be sued or allowed to be sued because you "enjoyed" flight simulation software (in the US and most of the free world anyway). Perhaps when Stalin or ###### come back to life we might need to start to worry about that, but in the meantime just enjoy what you've got and whatever is coming in the future. As have many others, I've enjoyed and continue to enjoy the various Flight Simulations platforms. I'm currently focusing much of my energy to P3D V2.x but the flight simulation market is very much alive and kicking just as the desktop PC isn't dead (it's actually started to grow again in 2014). The use …

Hi Guys Just to let you all know There is now an A2A C172 compatible SimPlugins Panel available for cockpit builders; or anyone else who would like to run a panel on a separate PC other than your FSX machine. I really like the new Add-On. It's a fantastic addition to this fantastic plane.

Can't seem to find any images off the internet. I am trying to remodel a 2D pop-up panel for the 777 CDU and need a very high quality/high-res image of an actual CDU/FMC from a Boeing 777. Preferably a straigh on shot from above (birds eye view) so that I can use it as an image for a 2D pop up. If anyone knows or can link me to images, I'd appreciate it!

Not sure where to put this. But I am an elite member with AA. Flying a 772 from KJFK->SAEZ (Buenos Aires) and am torn on where to sit. Naturally, having access to the bulkhead rows and emergency exits is a no brainier. Problem is, no window in these aisles/seats. Anyone fly these A/C's and have any suggestions? This is my first time on their 777. Thanks!

I think when we experience good or bad customer service that it should be shared, and I'm sure we're all aware of some of the less than helpful providers of FS products. So here's what happened to me last night. It started with me sending this email to Flightsimstore customer service via their website; "Hi guys, this is a bit embarrassing, but last night I ordered some ORBX stuff under order FSSxxxxxxx and it included Stapleford Abbotts. That's not embarrassing in itself, it's just that I've already got the bloody thing on DVD! Buying FS stuff after drinking wine leads to this kind of thing I suppose, but I was wondering if there's some way of removing it from th…

I have a question. For those who fly tube liners like the 777 either by PMDG or Flightfactor on X-Plane. For example lets say I'm doing a flight from KLAX to RJTT, how do I know how much fuel I need to load, what flaps to use for take off and landing, what my OAT temp should be for take off, and what flight level and cost index to use? If I use TOPCAT, will that get all the info I need in order to correctly punch it into my FMC before departure?

Most of the time when flight planning for the Boeing 777, i'm able to get a good route without it giving me (vectors). I don't fly online or use ATC. So I'm trying to avoid that dreaded (vectors) from showing up in my routes page on the FMC. My question is, how can i prevent this from happening? Do I have to find the right combination for the SID/STAR/transition in order for (vectors) to not show up in my flight plan? This really makes flight planning aggravating for me. I just want to be able to come up with a flight plan quickly that I can execute on the FMC and just have the plane fly the route correctly without all having to play the guessing game of finding the m…

Some of us flyers just like the view! Nature, in all its awesome spectacle and variety. Watch in the highest resolution your connection can handle!! I posted this at the Outerra forum as an example of earths colors and textures. I think they'll have surpassed themselves if they can recreate even 1/1000th of it.

It's been a hectic three days for me. I was on a business trip in Roanoke Virginia when I got a call asking if I'd be willing to consider an IT testing and dev contract with US Airways/American in Phoenix, where I've lived for 18 years. So on Friday afternoon I started the long drive back to Arizona for an interview at the US Airways complex in Tempe, AZ. I split most of the 2200 mile drive over three travel days and got to Tempe about five minutes before my scheduled interview. I did not expect to hear anything so soon, but no sooner did I get home a few hours later than the phone rang with an offer. It's funny--I've been simming for almost exactly 30 years--got …

I came across this interesting article and If this is true, I feel sorry for those people with cheap Androids imported from drop ship services: Android smartphone shipped with spyware "For the first time ever, the experts at the German security vendor have discovered a smartphone that comes with extensive spyware straight from the factory. The malware is disguised as the Google Play Store and is part of the pre-installed Android apps. The spyware runs in the background and cannot be detected by users. Unbeknownst to the user, the smartphone sends personal data to a server located in China and is able to covertly install additional applications". Let's not turn th…

Not going to get political but their has been an invitation sent out twice and an indication that it might happen now. Would be amazing to see Air Force One VC-25 in New Zealand. I don't think they can land Air Force One in Wellington (National Capital), but that would be awesome if they could. Runway is too small from what I know (6,827 foot runway). They can land the 777's in Wellington and have for photo ops, and they used to land 747SP's in Wellington as regular service. Would be very cool if the VC-25 came to Wellington but not sure if it ever landed on a runway this short.

Curious... I went looking for a fast high winger... I'm only allowed one high winger, as they are slow, ugly, and... slow. The only plane I could think of that was not S.U.S. was the sleek Extra 500. I figured there would be a few... but low and behold. NOPE! So devs... whats the story? Are they simulation regressive, and wont allow you guys to build one? I've seen just about all combinations of avionics, 50/50 glass & steam, Garmin G600/500, Avitrash... I mean Avidyne, etc... So you could stick anything in the panel and it would be good. 5 blade Turboprop, Rolls Royce power, 275 Kts, 25,000 SC, 6 place pressurized, retractable land…

I love going to one famous club called "A2A" very often. Spending the evenings looking and having fun with the girls. Two years ago I've met the girl called Piper Cub. She was very outgoing, simple and natural girl, very fun to be with! I fell in love with her instantly on our first date! But as the time passed, I noticed she was very slow, and didn't liked to go far away from her house on a date. That scenario got boring after some time but I loved her still. Few months ago we went to a date to famous A2A club. After few dances I saw one girl that was, and still is a very popular girl. She was the most popular girl in a highschool, and I saw that things didn't chan…
