I currently use Microsoft Outlook Web Access for emails, but I have suddenly encountered a problem. If I click on "new mail", I see the window appear for about a second, and then the screen goes blank with just a blue bar at the top of the screen. In other words, I can no longer send emails from my business address! This problem occurs on my work PC and my home PC (which are not connected in any way), so the problem must be with Outlook. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I have suffered this problem for the past two days. I contacted the Office 365 support line, and was bounced around from place to place for half an hour before being disconnected (I am guessin…

Letter from an airline pilot: He writes: My lead flight attendant came to me and said, "We have an H.R. On this flight." (H.R. Stands for human remains.) "Are they military?" I asked. 'Yes', she said. ... 'Is there an escort?' I asked. 'Yes, I've already assigned him a seat'. 'Would you please tell him to come to the flight deck. You can board him early," I said.. A short while later, a young army sergeant entered the flight deck. He was the image of the perfectly dressed soldier. He introduced himself and I asked him about his soldier. The escorts of these fallen soldiers talk about them as if they are still alive and still with us. 'My soldier is on his way back t…

After years of building my own computer systems for FSX I decided the buy a 'dedicated gaming machine' from a local supplier with unsatisfactory results.... a lesson learned. Briefly, I have been playing FlightSim since it's innovation in the 80's, I now have FSX and Prepard3D V1.4. In an ever increasing attempt to add realism I have continually upgraded computer components to match the scenery and aircraft complexity. My old system which suffered a motherboard failure had an i7-2600 chip 12 gig ram and the latest R9 270x GPU. This combination ran perfect until the failre a few week ago. My email inbox alerted me to forthcoming gaming deals on computers from my l…

This image was taken last Sunday by a runner running on the banks of the James River at Scottsville, Virginia. The fish was left hanging as you see on a barricade right on the banks of the river. This looks somewhat like an Alligator Gar, but they are not resident to Virginia. Anybody have a clue?

Does anyone remember Chrysler's turbine car? It was quite interesting and it had such style, I've always enjoyed seeing its rare appearances in auto shows. I was doing some research, and found this video by Jay Leno: Hope simmers enjoy it, I found it interesting to listen to Jay driving the car whilst sounding like a jet airplane going by... John

I was just browsing flight aware and was surprised to see some flights in the US with altitudes of as low as 13,000 ft. For example SWA824 - KMDW to KTPA - 2hr flight but only 13,000 Then SWA1255 - KDFW to KDEN - 2hr flight but 39,000 Just curious as to what factors determine such a big difference?

I just want to give a huge shout out to the controllers of Vatsim that made the Light Up America event a success. I only flew one flight today during the event, but I was handled in a professional and courteous way. Socal tracon did a great job. Does anyone else have any stories or experiences that they would like to share from today's event?

Well, if someone told me 10 years ago that I will play flight simulators on my android smart phone in 2014, I would call him a liar. And on top of all, these two flight sims are quite serious, and I must admit very addictive. F-SIM Space Shuttle - well, this is one hell of a sim, fantastic flight model and is is extremely hard to land properly this metal giant. To be honest, I didn't landed it properly one single time, out of 30 performed landings! 29 crash landings, and one hard landing! Extremely hard, and it takes time to learn the proper way, since Shuttle is gliding. Infinite Flight - FSX like flight sim, many planes to choose from, many airports.…

This is going viral now...Love it. Lets not start a cat vs dog debate here though please. Still...reminds me of my own lion hearted Leo (sadly was put down at the age of 13 last year April due to cancer). He lost the use of his left front paw which got stabbed in a fight with someone who tried to break into our house when he was only a year old. 3 weeks later he did it again in-spite of his injury. Both breakins were unsuccessful thanks to him and he was my closest friend for a long time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C-Opm9b2WDk

Thread intended for recent and future updates. positive: - I'm glad IF is being developed. - Hud camera now has direction indicator in a lower position: better for visibility. - pushback, systems page are fun additions. - more positive stuff will come to mind, I'm sure negatives: - switching between cameras was easier\quicker\more practical before. - setting heading (HDG) on autopilot was quicker before. These "two-stage buttons" seem to cause longer times to switch between - presets or just increase\decrease between largely different numbers, at least on my device (Galaxy Tab2 10.1", Android 4.1.2). - the flight data bar gives a lot of information, but I miss…

Anyone else see the wind an issues when trying to takeoff and land? Anything over 5 knots and the second you lift the nose the plane is twisting and flipping. Also I is nearly impossible to land with a 10-15 knot crosswind when you touchdown the plane is literally bouncing and trying to flip like a toy.

I have seen a few screenshots of the revised Cirrus on FSD facebook page and, as the topic title says, I hope they put a pilot in it. Small planes and the fighters offer a clear view of the cockpit, and they just look wrong without a pilot in them. Look at the little Cessna, the only1 with a pilot in it, how big a difference it makes in replays. Anybody in here agree with me on this?

Hello, I'll try to keep it simple. My device: Samsung Galaxy tab2 10.1 P5100. Shipped with Android 4.0.3 -> Infinite Flight would not draw the airports. Updated to Android 4.1.2 -> airport not showing bug, fixed. Love the app, literally love it. Infact I bought several planes and the caribbean islands scenery. But there's still one graphic bug that's ruining the experience for me. I wonder if it's something that's unique to my device model, or happens on other Android devices as well. I'm also curious whether other people who bought Infinite Flight experience other bugs. No need to spend many words in my case. screenshots speak for themselves …

In brief: I noticed when flying with autopilot on at a fixed altitude and speed, the planes tend to fly with a nose down attitude, noticed this with the jetliners. It looks a bit weird, as it looks a bit like what a helicopter would do. I expected a plane at a fixed altitude to look parallel to the horizon, am I wrong? With the hud camera on I can see that for the aspect mark to be at horizon level the --v-- marking is infact below the horizon.

I came across this fly on the wall video of ANA. It's quite old so you may have seen it before. However, even though it's in Japanese everything is obvious and logical. Quite a good watch I think. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DAJGlSf-KjY

I give my team the Atlanta Falcons, a B+! Me thinks that Matthews is a great pick, and we did address some key issues with the defense! But I sure wanted Clowney, the Texans wanted to much, to move up! But I'm somewhat satisfied with our picks! What about your favorite team!
