I've had some problems with my wifi dropping out. It seems to be more when games are running. Now that its crucial the bits keep flowing I'm looking for a way in VR to immediately know if anything is failing. The reason is that I'm seeing some odd things of patches of ortho not aligning with adjacent ones and roads not drawing correctly and I don't know if my wifi has dropped out a bit (I think I've made progress on the issue but not sure) and failed retrieve data or the scenery is lacking a bit. Suggestions welcome. I'm trying to take screenshots but haven't got the hang of that yet either.

Flying VR low and slow in smaller planes is great, but all in all I‘m more into airliners. While I‘m happy with performance and visuals in small GA planes, I haven‘t found the sweet spot for airliners yet. It’s either smooth and uncomfortably blurry or sharp (at least the cockpit) with poor frame rates. Now I was wondering if anybody has been able to get acceptable results with airliners, especially the A320, and how. My specs: i7-8700K, RTX 3080, 32 GB Ram, Reverb G2

So I just got the Occulus Rift S, pretty cool, experimented some in Google VR and another game, but now I'm trying to do it with FS. I'm probably missing a step, but I open the Oculus app, then I start FS2020, but then when I click the toggle VR button, or a key I assigned for it, nothing seems to happen. Inside the VR I'm sitting in a virtual loft with a fireplace.

Probably not a big deal, but I'm a bit dissapointed that the steam gauges are moslty flat, the instrument hands are in the same plane as the instrument face. No paralax error when looking at the instruments. A bit dissapointing taking into account all the other details precisely modeled in the cockpits. I remeber some FSX planes having gauges with thier components actually modelled in 3D.

Really tempted to get a VR. Only thing concerning my is how much FPS needed in order to have smooth true to life experience ? And will micro stutters from scenery loading gonna kill the immersion? Thanks !

I have things working pretty well w/o VR, but while in VR (though it looks pretty incredible), I'm having a few issues, namely: 1. Lots of flickering (scenery, menus, tooltips, etc) 2. Normally, I'm able to zoom with my mouse wheel, but that's not working in VR. Perhaps I need to bind zoom with something else? 3. Sitting in the 787 cockpit, it's almost impossible to read text on the glass displays, FMS, radio, etc. Even switches that are close up are blurry. While in the hanger, I'm able to see the menu OK, especially when looking directly ahead (periphery is blurry). I've set my IPD on the headset itself. 4. I CTD first when clicking on the battery sw…

Hi guys. First time diving in here using only WMR and Reverb G2. I’m used to using fpsVR and steam VR settings to tweak my performance in DCS. what’s the game plan to monitor for MSFS which only uses WMR? Does it automatically employ reprojection? Is there a similar tool as fpsVR to see if I’m CPU or GPU bound and see frame times and framerates? thanks, Jason

The problem here is, that I can not change the key assignments as it wants me to. any others with the same problem/ a solution??

cannot refocus as the only 2 entries on my controls listing is for toggling to and fro VR and the toolbar toggle Nothing about focus or VR view reset Initially there were more entries but i did not fill them all out, only the VR on/off toggle and went to see and unnaturally I was positioned outside the aircraft so i returned to the controls list to assign the view reset entry but they were gone Also was expecting groupings under VR_Graphics and VR_Traffic but never saw these Any way of reinstalling update?

My take from interviews of the Asobo team was that they stated if they are going to do VR they are wanting to do it right. For an initial rollout I am very happy with now having VR in MSFS. I have an: i7-7700K o/c @ 4.8 (Kaby Lake), 1TB SAMSUNG 960 PRO PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD, 32GB DDR4/3000MHz, ASUS ROG MAXIMUS IX HERO, GeForce(R) GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition, HP Reverb G2 I fell in love with your C152 back in Alpha and Beta testing as my favorite default plane to fly and getting to see it in VR was everything I had hoped for. I am so happy you went with a way to have VR graphic settings separate from PC and a vast amount of customizable items with various settin…
