My VR settings are great and VR works well except that the mouse is nowhere to be found. I keep losing it, thus making it very difficult to use VR. Been to a couple of forums, people have the same problem, but no one has figured it out yet. Anyone have any ideas. I've tried about everything others have suggested and no solutions yet. Sounds like some others are as frustrated as I am.

I had my first serious flight in a helicopter in MSFS VR today and it was an absolute dream. Being able to look down at something other than blurry mush at low altitude is incredible and you see the beautiful scenery at its best. It has taken this sim to a new level. Hats off to Flyinside; I thought I was going to have to wait patiently (or not so patiently) until 2022 to get my helicopter fix. It's not easy though. I've flown the R-22 in Aerofly FS2 (in realistic mode) which is easy by comparison. But the difficulty just makes it all the more enjoyable. I'm not going to be landing in any tight spaces any time soon.

Hi, hope I've posted in the right place. I currently have a 9900k overclocked to 4.9ghz with a 3080. I am using a reverb g2 to run VR and struggled for months to get a decent run on headset. I recently found that setting motion projection to automatic really helps with some of the stuttering however, it seems to then have bad affects such as flicking menus, plane wings and instruments. I have openXR set to 70 percent and use ingame settings medium and high. It seems that it is constantly the CPU that is maxed out and I was reading yesterday that the CPU can also help the stuttering by helping the LOD Would upgrading to a 10900k and a…

This morning after sitting on the runway in VR, I attempted to press the "HOME bar" (SPACE bar) and nothing happened? I was stuck and could not go forward. I was able to kill the MSFS sim. After restarting the sim visited the setting area. I went to the the VR MODE side tab and opened it, then selected "Change Bindings," to see if this particular setting had changed. When I opened the settings, I discovered the following items missing: VR - Camera Reset VR - Cockpit Focus However, the following items were present: VR - Activate/Deactivate VR - Toolbar Toggle Prior to the last update, I didn't have this issue, everything worked great. …

I'm new to neofly and I want a way to show the map that neofly provides because the gps does not show the flight plan. I mainly use the helicopter and like to do drop point type missions. These use coordinates so i'm not able to create flight plans in-flight on the current garmin gps. A neofly moderator stated that there are tools available to show "any" window in the vr headset (but did not mention which tool). What tool will allow me to show the neofly map in the vr session?

Hi, anybody heard of this isue? I couldn't find anything on the web. Had not tried VR yet, so decided to do that today. Updated all drivers, MSFS and SteamVR before. I can enter VR without problems in the main menu and while flight planning and all works great. It also works fine in VR through loading into the flight. But once the flight has loaded, SteamVR seems to disconnect and reconnect constantly every two seconds. In the headset then I only see the Steam wait background screen with a message that changes intermittently every two seconds from "Home - Now exiting" to "next - FS2020". The SteamVr app window shows similar messages. It stays like this until I d…

This may not be the correct forum, but I am finding that this T-45 jet, when started in 2D (Monitor Mode), shuts down the engines when I enable VR. It fly's fine in 2D mode, but not in VR. Anybody have any ideas on how to fix? I am not sure where the IndiaFoxTecho developers forums are located as I purchased from Orbx. Bill Clark

It's supposed to fix audio / black screen issues with the headset. ENHANCEMENTS: FIXES: - Resolves a potential issue where displays may flicker or go black when playing certain titles at high volume levels. HOW TO USE: 1. Connect your HP Reverb G2 to your system. 2. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive. 3. Browse to the location of the extracted files on the system and run USB Audio FW Update Tool_PID4C15_v14(2021-03-08)_HP_VR_V2.exe. Hey, Do any of the available 3rd party ATC programs for MSFS work in VR? Ideally natively, or if not, using a simple hack to bring their window in to the sim and allow you to control it in sim? I usually map two of the hat switches on my warthog to control what I ask/answer. Using WMR on a Reverb G2 if it's platform specific.

After the hot fix I find I am unable to activate Vr at some airports. I have the G2. using 2080 Super. I set up a flight. load sitting in cockpit cold and dark. I then activate VR using default keys. Now at some airports KSEA, for example, instead of finding myself seeing the instruction to press key to set vr view. I either have a black screen or about 4 white dots moving around each other. and that dance never stops. Meanwhile, on the 2d monitor I can see that VR is active waiting for cockpit view to be set. Pressing the space bar to set the view does nothing. Attempting to disable VR mode sometimes takes me back to the 2d view, but with badly degr…

When using my HP Reverb G2 with MSFS I noticed that it seem like only WMR is used. Can I just also start SteamVR and then MSFS will use it ? Reason for my question is that in SteamVr is a setting to use different resolution instead of the default. I would like to test that since full default resolution is simply more than my system can handle (4770K @4.5 GHz 16 Gb RAM 2070Super). I have read that the G2 can use half resolution but I fear that it to low. From SteamVR I get the impression that it can be changed to all kind of levels, or?

Due to budget I would like to purchase the Quest 2 (was initialy considering Rift S) and have maybe some dumb general questions about it. Since the Quest 2 "does not need a PC to run" I'm kind of confused how it is going to be set up and used with MSFS. 1. Do I have to connect the Q2 to my PC (WITH CABLE) or is MSFS kinf of "downloaded or mirrored (WiFi)" on the Q2? 2.1. (If connecting is a must) does it matter if I choose 64 or 256GB RAM (I suppose that my PC does all the work and sends the visuals to the Q2)? 2.2. (if it's standalone) 2.2.1 does it need 256GB RAM (do I somehow download or send MSFS to the Q2)? 2.2.2 is the perfor…

Greetings all, I have a workstation-grade Dell Latitude laptop (Xeon processor, 64gb ram) with an Nvidia Quadro t2000 that my research tells me is based on the desktop GTX 1650 Ti with comparable clock speeds and therefore currently between a mobile GTX 1650 and GTX 1660 Ti. I am wondering if this would be enough to power MSFS with a Quest 2 VR goggle plugged in. I performed a search for Nvidia Quadro t2000 on the forum but came up empty. Want to know before I spend $100 on a piece of software that my machine can't drive. Thanks! Don Columbus, Ohio

I recently got a Reverb G2 and it works fine with everything except MSFS, which is of course the main reason I got it. The gear I'm running isn't top of the line but should run the game without issues, at least at lower settings; AMD Ryzen 7 3700X Asus Prime X570 Asus GForce RTX 2070 Super ROG SSD Hard Drive Basically, I start the sim and everything is fine until I am in the cockpit, but when I then go to activate VR, everything goes crazy. I do get the VR view on my monitor but it is like it is trying to start but cannot, so it starts/stops every second. This goes on for a minute and eventually it crashes to the desktop. At the same time, insid…

I like to set up the flight on my monitor, then enable VR once I'm past the "ready to fly" screen. However, without fail the game will firstly remain on the "desktop view", with a pseudo-pancake monitor in VR projected in front of me and the game showing the two images. Moreover, the game will flash back and forth between the same two viewpoints a dozen times per second (more or less half the framerate) on that pancake monitor view. From here the game is frozen. In fact I can interact with things (I hear the brakes if I enable/disable the parking brake), but the visuals are frozen, continuously and quickly flashing between the two viewpoints. I've had nothing but fru…

If you can do whatever it takes to maintain 30fps, surprisingly this now seems to work, and quite well. In fact it looks better than ASW on Quest 1 as it has less wobble/ heat haze and better sharpness. I'm testing this with 21H1, 465.89 and the latest WMR update. I'm not sure which of the three is responsible for the improvement. I'm trying to keep MSFS in-game render setting at 100 so the instruments look sharp to read Edit - just to mention the above is with the headset running at 90hz (not 60hz)

Hi all I have been looking for something so I can bring pdf, moving map and take notes in VR, tried the below and I'm pretty happy with it. They are added to the top bar and when undocked and moved around in the virtual cockpit I saw no FPS drop. I don't find the moving map useful as it's to hard to see on my quest but there are better options for map https://www.rafaelsantos.es/web/index.php Thanks wayne
