Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Screenshot As you can see, the GPU usage is not stable during my flight, and when it's low (~40%), the FPS is just about 1 to 5. Somehow, it went back normal after a while. This issue happened a lot of times and I totally have no idea why it happens. I hope I am not the only one.

Hi, just to check if others experienced the same... Yesterday I pushed the latest "Dev" version and when I loaded the A320NX and tried to switch the batteries ON on the Overhead panel, no buttons/ switches/rotaries... were cllickable there ... I reloaded MFS, the A320NX, but nothing worked... I then decided to install the Experimental version and it worked fine. Maybe a glitch with that particular Dev version ?

I am having a problem with engine star using the latest versions (either one) of the FBW A320NX. I do have APU on, bleed, etc, but cannot start engines. No problem with previous versions. What is odd is that CTRL+E works (I notice that using this standard command, EXT PWR lights goes on as well as Fuel XFEED light). Does anyone can recommend what I should do to fix this issue? At FBW discord server there are a number of similar reports but I couldn´t find a solution. Thanks

Hello, Many of us play FS 2020 under Linux. My main OS is Linux, not Windows. So, I wanted to try. I installed Proton (very easy under Archlinux : yay -S proton under my terminal.) I installed windows steam program and Linux steam program. Both versions want me to buy FS2020 I do use my WIndows Steam account. Question : can I install FS2020 with steam under Linux WITHOUT buying it again ?

Hey guys, so I’ve increased my scenery lod and object lod via cfg config and it seems to have worked well. However what I want is to increase the mesh lod. I’m flying in the newly updated Alps and they seem good up close, but distance mountains still seem pretty frumpy. I want to have the new increased mesh detail further away to have more realistic looking mountains and skylines. Is this possible? And if so, how? Thanks

Hi, I am wondering does this company even provide support. I did buy J160/J170 around release time, and now that product isn't even listed on Iris Simulation's store front but the product is on Orbx Central. But why did it get removed their own page. I have to go to my account and I can't even figure out on what release is my download. Finding changelogs isn't easy. I have a very general question request which I politely emailed them 6 days ago (I heard nothing since then). Their support dropped few years ago but they came back for MSFS but I guess I have to drop this developer from my list to buy their products. Sigh

I would like to be able to run multiple (2) windows, one for the panel and one for the outside view which I find too far down the cockpit, even if I raise the point of view. When I fly for real, I get a good view outside and have to look down to the panel. Therefore I would like to run the panel on my laptop screen and the outside view on my monitor without the expense of running a desktop with 2 cards as in FSX. Anyone got any ideas? Note to moderator: I couldnt find a search box to see if this has been asked before.

When using the FBW A320 is there a trick to get the ship to decent to work? Every time I use it I get placed way to close to the airport? Also dis anyone figure out a way to pause at TOD either free or paid for?

I just managed to snag on for $950. Wondering if its worth it (probably not) but better than paying over $1000 I guess. Got it from Zotac during a drop. My 2080 is dying I think but I really wanted a 3080 but after a year I at least found this. Anyone do a similar upgrade or can comment on their 3070 Ti experience?

I'm curious to how people play the role of an ATC controller on MSFS? What software do you use and are there any available tutorials on how to become an ATC controller?

Find independent reviews (you shouldn’t have too, but you can’t trust MS to do the right thing) Don’t buy products after a sim update or world update until you see they’ve been updated. When updates are release they are posted in #community:news-and-announcements Consider buying from a first-party or external third-party store - it pains me to recommend this for so many reasons, but at least the updates can flow quickly

Can't get it off the ground. Do you need special controllers?

I seek advice please.... I purchased the JU52 but was a bit unhappy with the default cockpit camera position so I amended the JU52 Cameras file to move the eyepoint forward a bit and slightly right to the centre of the pilot seat. Now, when I press the view reset it takes me back to this altered position which suits me much better. I'm aware that I could have done something similar with the custom cameras system but I prefer this method of altering the default position. My question is though, now that my JU52 has a slightly amended entry in the Cameras file, do you think I might get issues or hang-up problems when MSFS does (or tries to do) an update (e.g. th…

Its like they really want to see how you handle tailwind departures. The wind direction in the gps is accurate with the wind sock on the ground. When will this be fixed?

Went to make a flight tonight, all my settings have reverted even though it doesn't show any different in the options screen. I was getting the odd cockpit interaction, so had to turn legacy off and back on. Then as I tried to take off, I got a thing saying my objective was to apply full throttle. Halfway down the runway, the aircraft decided to turn on the emergency brake and drag me to a halt. What's going on?! EDIT - trying to advance the throttle, it resets to idle. Went and tried to drag the throttle levers, they instantly reset to idle. Also, my place/airport indicators are back on.

Purchased premium deluxe edition paid 119.99 from the store but microsoft will not allow me to download the files. cant get anyone to answer phone numbers for support. charged to my credit card and microsoft wiil not refund . all other sims xplane lockeed all have never had problem been simming 20 years. Anyone know of a way to get any support from microsoft
