Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Was out of town the last couple of weeks, so only upgrade to SU6 yesterday. Immediately noticed a regular cycle of stuttering and after some troubleshooting narrowed it down to the GTN 750 mod. I am flying the JF Turbo Arrow btw. with latest GTN mod, and stutters are like short frame drops every other second or so. Without the mod everything is smooth as butter and the best the sim has looked so far! Has anyone else seen this?

Is it just my poor eysight or simply that I only have a 1080 monitor, but I can't see any difference between 200 and 400 other than a pretty massive performance hit? I would like to run a higher rez, but smaller 1440 and 4k monitors seem pretty expensive to me and larger ones are way to big if you are only sitting 2 or 3 feet away from them.

It is hard to believe the black avionics screen problem continues to plague MSFS. It seems to be across the board in the GA aircraft - 2 or 3 minutes into a flight and the avionics goes dead. Geez Louise. Maybe Bert will solve the problem for Asobo. 😏 Regards, Ray

Anyone else having issues with the gps in the IndiaFoxtEcho Rutan Long Eaze? The buttons on the right side are missing and I can't enter any type of flight plan or direct to. Thanks, LouP

Hi Guys, I noticed that from SU6 and going forward if your community folders etc are on your C drive you have to download the whole sim again.. Strange as I did put mine elsewhere..anyway, it has somehow defaulted to C drive...How do I move it all away from that or do I have to uninstall and then reinstall elsewhere...downloading over 80 odd TB everytime is a daunting prospect.. This just started. When I am in flight and press the escape key it locks up the sim. The only thing I can do is Ctrl+Alt+Del and shut down the program. I had recently installed FBW a320 so thinking that might be it. Happens with multiple planes.

Hi Just tried a couple of IFR flights with the ingame planner tonight, and all i get is direct to. no Sids, waypoints or stars.? Tried with both the A320 and 787 sae result, also nothing in the FMC.

I'm trying to learn the CRJ and doing pretty well with it, but am having some issues with general FMS stuff. Take this trip: KSFO to KSAN. All realistic flight plans want me to come into San Diego using the COMIX2 star and an RNAV/Localizer approach to runway 27. Notice at waypoint VP378 that you now end up with two paths. How do I edit this in the FMS to get rid of the extraneous green path past VP378?

Hello, As i'm building a home cockpit i want to use fsuipc (registered version) to operate some action like Flaps Lever, Trim and Fuel selector. Trim is fine and works very well. However, Flaps lever and Fuel Selector don't work. I've tried with many other aircrafts, and my lua script with sioc works fine ! I've asked to JustFkight's support, but the only answer i got was : Fsuipc, we don't know. So, did somebdy, here, tried fsuipc and lua to work with these JF PA28 ? Kind regards, Oliver

Why some devs are able to achieve very detailed airports / sceneries with less than 400-500 MB , but some can only achieve less or equal amount of details with 3-4 GB ?

So rather than go from a cold and dark A320 FBW flightdeck state when I load up FS2020 is there a way to have a turn around flightdeck state when I load the aircraft? Thanks

I am using the latest Experimental version and now I get this warning when shutting down the engines after every flight. Anybody else getting this? Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Although I haven't purchase many MSFS addons over the past year, all of the ones I did purchase were very reasonably priced. Most recently I picked up the FT EKCH for around $12 on sale (a bargain if you ask me). Generally, the addons have all been much less expensive than their P3d counterparts, but I have recently noticed a trend of several new MSFS addons being $25 USD and up. Many of these more expensive addons are from developers I have never heard of. Of course, I will only buy addons that I feel are good value, and developers have the right to charge whatever they want to. If I find it too pricey, I just won't buy it. I am just curious as to what some of your thoug…

Having run MSFS quite satisfactorily for months and months I now get a message re insufficient bandwidth and I have been switched to Offline. Any suggestions as to who I should give a "rocket" to? Is it at MSFS end or would it be our own(Australian) below standard internet set up. I may not be able to do much about it but I get really cheesed off when all these smarmy smart alec organisations tell us that the internet is the way of the future (as it may well be) but they fail to deliver a consistant and reliable product. I installed this using the Marketplace. It does not show up in the Community folder. How do I know all the default G1000 panels have been upgraded to this NXi? Regards, Ray

Trying to fly the 172 G1000 and the aircraft bobbles too much as if there is turbulence but there is not, so not sure what could be causing this.

I've just started having issue/issues where I can't launch the sim. I get taken to the MS Store and nothing is working or clickable. Anyone seen this and have a suggestion? This started a day or two ago when I was trying to run some other Xbox live game. I didn't realize until now that the sim was borked too.
