This is a cry for help regarding the iniBuilds A320neo V2. I've posted on iniBuilds with no response yet. I also found a thread on forums.flightsimulator which describes a similar issue, but none of the suggestions have worked. The problem seems to have surfaced after the last update to either MSFS 2020 or the A320neo V2 because it was working in late September. No matter what I try I cannot get the default ATC to react to 'Request IFR clearance' using either a key or mouse press. I have tried SimBrief created flight plans, as well as MSFS flight planner generated GPS, Low Altitude, High Altitude routes, and departure airport only. Combined with the previous, I ha…

I've noticed (hard not to) that even after my Plane of choice has loaded in all its Cockpit textures, there's a tendency for it to become blurry again, normally if I look away, but also when I unpause. I don't understand this as those textures are already loaded. Its almost like they are being discarded as I've moved focus -so the Sim\Game needs to download them again. anyone else noticed this?

I see Neofly 4 now works in FS2024. Worth buying Neofly or do you think Career will get enhanced and patched to equal Neofly? Note, I know nothing about Neofly but it looks interesting from a quick video I watched. Maybe its just as buggy and clunky? Btw, its on Black Friday sale right now and no I don't work for them or endorse them.

I suspect the answer is no, but wanted to double check…is there any way to combine the built in live traffic feed (which is actually pretty good, comprehensive and low impact in 2024 compared to 2020) but with AIG or FSLTL models instead of the generic models / paint schemes currently in FS2024?

At FSX times, I used to fly often in and out from EGCC operating RYR. I kind of miss that, however I am not sure if the MACCO or Taimodels version is better. I read that MACCO sim is going to update, but on youtube I cannot find any recent uploads from the airport. Is there anything planned from another dev or what is currently the best option?

Do I need Atmos? Is the lighting better? Are default colours better? Is the ground blurry? Are the clouds better? Is it smooth? Did I refund 2024 too early?

Hi all, Is there an easy way to identify liveries compatible with MSFS2024 in the livery manager? I've been able to install a few, but I haven't been able to identify in the livery manager whether there are liveries available specifically for MSFS2024.

Hello, when deciding where to fly to and from, I am often confronted with thinking about, which airports are higher quality. For instance, for what airport do I have custom or Asobo scenery. Is there some kind of map you guys use, either automatically or custom maintained, for such kind of thing? Thanks

Sorry for what may be a dumb question, but is there any definitive answer to this? Can you run an addon that has been updated for 2024 on a 2020 system or do you have to keep a copy for each sim (if you've also kept 2020)? I know at some point I'll drop 2020 but in the meantime I have a couple of thousand addons on my 2020 system, over 2.5 Tb, and I don't want to duplicate that lot if I can avoid it. cheers

Got access to the Tech Alpha 2024 as did everyone else, and the first thing I went on to test is of course the Flight Model. Personally MFS2020 has such good Visuals I would never consider switching to 2024 because of that. But FlightModel has always been the known weak point of FS2020. I read reports of improvement of Flight Feeling from several users, and I questioned why I didn't notice these improvements, to me the sim feels just as MSFS2020 does in the air. Ground Handling is a whole other topic ,this I can confirm is a major improvement over the very very bad MSFS2020 Ground Physics. So, I did some Flight Testing Maneuvers that are used in real life to det…

Have you sorted out how to make the engines of your Inibuilds 320 / 321 start already running and not during the startup phase when you load any challenge with these aircraft? It really spoils the experience because the Airbuses always spawn with their engines being started, instead of already running, when you chose, for instance, a landing challenge.

WEATHER: - Not yet possible to properly set VISIBILITY according to METAR reports; - Geopotential height variation with T is not modelled / approximated when Manual Weather or Weather Presets are used - apparently only with Real Weather, so if you manually set or take a preset of an approach under cold weather into an airfield where cold weather procedures are published you will not see any effect of the temperature in your barometric altitude (lower than indicated for low T, higher for high T... "from high to low" applying to T just as it applies to Pressure ); - Thermals don't exist - just "waves of lift", which is the best description I can get for it...…

Hello, I recognize this is a broad question and that the answer is likely different depending on the scenery, but I’m wondering generally how well people are getting on with porting their catalogue of freeware sceneries from 2020 to 2024? I have such a big load of freeware airports I’ve accumulated and I’d like to start using some in 2024 but I’m trying to get a sense of whether many are working well or if it’s a lost cause and I should just wait for updates before I start moving stuff over and testing. Thanks for any input.

Thanks so much! I have a win wing Orion 2 throttle that has served me really well with 2020, DCS, Star Citizen, etc. With 2024, when i bring the throttle all the way back, it jumps to nearly 50% at what I assume is a detent. I thought I was going nuts because I was coming in so fast into final, I thought the sim was all messed up but I found the culprit! Has anyone else had this issue and know where to solve it in the settings? I can't possibly just use muscle memory to stop myself from moving the throttle all the way back.. it's just impossible! Thanks! EDIT: Is it an issue I need to update the WinWing…

I don't know whether you guys get this weird altimeter reading in 2024 when listening AWOS/ASOS metar. It reads six or seven digits, like "altimeter 30005016". This is never the case IRL. Always four digits like "altimeter 3005". I just flew an RNAV with G1000 C172 at night using live weather (very bad weather). I tuned and listen to AWOS at COM2 and heard sth "altimeter 3005601" and my brain registered it as 3056. I thought wow this is pretty high but set the altimeter to 30.56 anyway. G1000 AP flew the approach and glideslope and all was well. Just upon reaching MDA at 1680' all of sudden I saw trees popping right into my landing light! Right, I almost got ki…

Hi friends. I wonder, before I step up to 2024, are my specs to "bad" or low? I can run 2020, at least in my oppinion fairly ok, of course, i have no ultra stettings anywhere and most of my settings are medium to low or off... But will my old rig handle 2024 if 2020 is ok in my taste? Here are my specs: ASUS Aspire GX-281 AMD Quad-core Ryzen-5 1400 Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070 8 Gigabyte 256 Gigabyte SSD + 1 TB 16 Gigabyte DDR4 (I also have 107,26 Mbit/sek) What do You think guys? Will 2024 be ok on my system or a "waste of money" Best regards Per

I regularily read that MSFS users have issues because MSFS is no longer installed on the owners PC but must be downloaded from the cloud. Unfortunately I have only maximum 56 Mbps available in my place - is that enough to use MSFS 2024 in a convenient manner? What are your experiences?

When I start a flight in the diamond aircraft it puts me in the back seat. I thought this was a bug that affected everyone but I just checked my dad's installation and his is ok. Does anyone know how to fix this?
