Dassault Falcon 50

I have a situation where the DME Ident buttons are struck "on" in the Falcon. This causes the annoying loud Morse code beeps. I have tried to be sure I am starting in a default AC, and, all ident buttons are off. The buttons become depressed "on" as soon as I turn on the avionics, and, even if I press to turn off (lower left side panel) the buttons will turn back on within a second or two. What is odd is it seems to change in various phases of flight. I may be able to turn off, but seems always on during departure and arrival. Anybody have any ideas? This is driving me nuts.

Upgraded to 1.8, uninstalled first. I see a couple of issues - first - all windows are now opaque in the external view. Second, pulse lights no longer visible in external view (full landing appears ok). The area in front of the lights appears opaque. Both pulse and landing lights show on ground, but, do not illuminate the ground and are just white splotches. Third, at night when on the cabin lighting bleeds through the external view and lights parts of the middle intake and wing. So for those of us flying on FSE, we have had to modify the CFG to match the FSE fuel tank mapping (FSE only shows a center/Left/Right none of the feeder tanks). So when we start a flight, FSE loads fuel into just those three tanks filling both the left and right first and whatever is leftover to the center....leaving engine 2 with nothing. I might have missed this in the manual and I can’t seem to find a good explanation of the fuel system logic when it comes to transferring between tanks, or at the least having engine 2 pull from one of the left/right tanks instead of the center. I previously reported getting triple sudden failure several times. (P3DV4). Experienced it yesterday and managed to restart all - so not fuel. Switched on FSUIPC Event log! Today experienced it again twice. Just leaving 35,000 in descent had throttled back sightly. All three went quiet. Restarted them all with air start (getting handy at this now!). Five minutes later they went again. In the log I have marked leaving top of descent. And events I think happened (no clue what). Then 'Engines Rich' - which presumably is restart process? Hello, I just got the FSW FA50 a few days ago with Beta 1.7B and the Cockpit sound was OK, after I uninstalled and installed beta 1.8 my Cockpit sound has all but just about disappeared. This is in P3D V4.4, Windows 7 64. The cockpit slider is all the way to the right and all I can hear is faint noise when taxiing, a bit better with full power. Anything I should know?? Perhaps bad install?? Any Ideas?? Thanks

Hi: I was set for a flight today and noticed that when I change the fuel via the Falcon load manger, the fuel indicators remain the same/unchanged However, the weight of the airplane changes and when I check the fuel loaded via the P3D default load manager, there too reflects the correct load/data. Sorry, can't figure out for the life of me how to load pictures on this site. Any help. Thanks.

I'm trying different methods to disconnect the autopilot in cruise in order to do some airwork, and each method (yoke mouse click spot, turning the switch off manually, and my FSUIPC hardware button for "autopilot off")- each time I get an alarm that I cannot seem to silence (normal aircraft behavior would seem to be to click the A/P button once for disconnect, a second time silences the warning)? Maybe I'm missing something going through the manual here...

I am a brand new user on my first flight with this great looking aircraft in P3Dv4.4. I went to 10,000' to test out the autopilot functions. I can get the AP to engage but none of my AP mode selections will work and there are no lights when the buttons are pushed (left click). I tried to select the function I wanted and then engage AP. I can see the buttons moving but they do not change the function and the lights are not working. Example, I have the GTN750 installed and set to GPS but it will not track the NAV or switch to HDG. I have tried all of them but none light up when pushed. Is there some special settings required in the GTN750 for this to work? …

Hello: I just purchased the airplane and have some questions and 1 issue. -The spoiler (Air Brake) handle in the cockpit does not move when I use corresponding button on my joy stick. In other words, when the spoilers are deployed, the handle in the cockpit still remains in the stowed position. -How do you set the CDI to automatically align with the GPS track from the GTN? By that I mean my track is 090 but the CDI is 360. I see the option near the autopilot to move it, but does it align automatically? -How do I access the payload manager? Thanks to everyone who helped me with the AOA question. The explanations cleared it right up. Now when I am on a flight, I set up the AP in the following way: 1. The desired altitude is selected 2. ALT SEL is selected on AP panel 3. IAS selected when at desired airspeed for climb What the plane is doing is A) either indicating the desired altitude has been reached well before the actual altitude (i.e. the altitude selected will read FL110 and the altimeter reads 4200ft) and the AP will switch from ALT SEL armed to ALT SEL cap and then ALT or B) the plane will blow right through the desired altitude with the ALT SEL constantly reading 'arm'. Hi all, I installed the update this evening and loaded into the plane and noticed there is now black on the wing and on the engines. I believe it might be a shaders issue? I'm not sure how to resolve it though. I tried clearing the shaders but no joy. It looks fine when you are inside the plane and look at the specific areas but in outside view, its black. I know someone else who had the problem and they just reinstalled P3D to fix it but I don't really want to do that If I don't need to. I do not use tomato shade but do have PTA installed. I've tried clearing the cache and also set it back to the original P3D shaders but the issue still exists. Any ideas?
