I purchased this Aircraft a couple of months ago. I am only rarely able to use it - although I really like it - because something "crazy" happens when I try to load the FALCON 50. A series of continuous, random graphics cross the entire screen and make the aircraft unusable. Oddly - form the external view - all is calm and well. Has anyone else experienced this - and what do you have to do to straighten this out? Thank you in advance... Mark Mayo P3D vs3

Has anybody experienced CTDs with the Falcon after installing v4.5? I load the jet from a safe, clean state and it CTDs every time. Worked flawlessly with v4.4. Did a complete reinstall and no joy.

Hi all- I was wondering if it would be possible to map the small black cabin light button (the one that lights the entire VC) to a toggle switch on my HOTAS controller? Have no idea how to proceed. Thanks, Mark

First off, very nice aircraft, well done. I wonder are there any startup videos like there was on the Lear jet 35A? I really loved that video it was very helpful for getting started in the aircraft. I have searched and searched and all I fin are Carenado or real life Falcon startup videos. Second and most important, my throttle does not seem to be working properly, I have the CH products throttle, peddles, and combat stick combo, I use it for pretty much all the airplanes I fly, but on this one I can't seem to flip the little red Power Lever Cutoff switches, they flip momentarily and quickly snap back, right click does nothing but jiggle them? I also cannot …

Hello dears! Version Falcon 1.8C I really like the quality of the textures of the interior, but after reviewing a lot of photos of the real aircraft, I came to the conclusion that the color of the flightdeck panel in version 1.8 should be a little different. I took the texture of the panel from version 1.8 as a basis and made a small color correction. In addition, a little old surface. In my opinion, the panel has become more like a real plane. I just changed the original texture of Flysimware, so all copyrights remain owned by Flysimware. Texture file can be downloaded from the cloud: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1BZ2vwQPB5tzYyIxI8R0mrJ3L918FoJM4 …

I just purchased and installed the Falcon 50 (P3Dv4.4) and it works perfectly except that ATC only IDs the aircraft as "0". Checking the aircraft file, I found what should be the proper entry: [General] atc_type=Falcon atc_model=Falcon 50 Any suggestions? Thanks! Brian

Hi all. I did a search and didn't find anything on this specific issue. I know the wing tanks are supposed to drain to the feeder tanks once the feeders get to 600lbs, but that didn't happen in last night's flight. The L/R feeder tanks got all the way to 0 when there was 1700 lbs in each wing tank. I ended up landing with about 50lbs left in the center tank, and the wing tanks still full. Any idea what I might have done (or didn't do) that caused this problem?

I now have the latest update of the aircraft installed and have taken two cross countries. Everything is working but the Payload Manager. Before the update, I never had a problem with it. This one shows a full load of fuel and no pilots although they are displayed. The buttons don't work and the - & +s don't work. You can go into the P3d menu and set the fuel, but that is a pain to do every flight. The fuel will then reflect correctly and show a count down. It's a lot easier to just use the Payload Manager. Shortly after trying to install the latest Falcon 50 update I discovered it would not open in P3dv4. When you select the 50, the P3d startup window displays No Preview Available. If you continue, it fails to display any aircraft, just your location, etc. I went ahead and reinstalled the Lear 35 and it behaves and loads as normal. For the last two days I have tried to install the Falcon 50 again. I've used fresh downloads with different browsers, turned off Windows Defender, etc. When you look at the files in P3dv4 Sim Objects, they look pretty normal to me. All my down loads have been from SimMarket although I have never had this happen before. Any ideas? M…

I have recently had noticed a minor issue with the cabin warning light on the annunciator panel constantly illuminating in red in the Falcon 50. This has only happened in V1.8 and it appears to be related to the main cabin door. In the cabin view the safety latch on the door is labelled 'unlocked' on the tooltip, but when I click it to lock it although it briefly moves down into the locked position, it flicks back up into the unlocked position a second or so later. I have also tried locking this using the Aircraft Options pop up window where there is a green tick over the door lock and when I click this green tick the cabin warning annunciator light briefly goes off befor…

Since there has been some interest expressed I have put together a Lua script (F50FuelState.lua) that saves the fuel state of the Falcon50's 6 tanks so the fuel state can be restored at a later time, such as after a sim crash or when restarting the sim, etc. Once started, the script will save the fuel state at regular intervals (in minutes) which can be set by the user by editing a timing parameter (default is every 1 min). Rerun the script to restore the last fuel state saved. Lua scripts require a registered copy of FSUIPC to run. If interested PM me an email address and I'll send you the script with some simple instructions. Use the script at your own risk --…

Does anyone else have the issue of saving a flight..then reloading and the airplane is back to being fully topped off? 100% Fuel every time I load it. Is there a way i can have it save my fuel load so If I want to tanker into 3 or 4 airports with precisely the right amount of fuel it will save where I had the tanks? Or is this a P3dv4 thing?

I am obviously doing something wrong : it looks like AltSel does not work if VS is not active 🙂 Also on the Autopilot panel, Should not this allow to switch the HSI source ? Hi: I've attempted two RNAV approaches without success. The approaches were loaded via the GTN750. As I approached the 3% glidepath at the intercept altitudes, I armed approach on the autopilot. But the airplane doesn't follow. I noticed I got G/S warning flags on the ADI. Thanks.

Hey, my P3D v4.4 always crashes when I try to start a scenario with the Falcon 50. Hallo, I am interested in the FSW FA50 and have a question. When starting the engines, and following proper procedures, do the engines start up like piston engines, or gradually and slowly? I like realistic system simulation, but avoid add-ons with turbine simulations that start up in a second, with spiking rpms, like the FSX default turbine airplanes did. Videos I found were not helpful, so I am asking here. Thanks!

Hi fellow Falcon 50 pilots-- I've noted, from the first beta release of the FSW Falcon 50, that it isn't possible to spool up to over 91 or 92% N1 without exceeding the red lines of the N2 indicators. Obviously, trying to remain below the indicated N2 limits severely hobbles the aircraft's takeoff performance. I like operating the Falcon into airports with relatively short runways (per the real world information that I've researched on the aircraft), but in order to do so I always have to routinely bust the red line limits on the N2 indicators. It's even more of a problem in that, in recently doing some additional trials, I was doi…

So I was just about to descend. Activated ALT SEL and VS. Wanted to decrease speed but the throttles wouldnt do anything. Deactivated ALT SEL and then everything came back to normal. Running beta 1.8. Have anyone else had this? Lovely piece of plane and the new sounds are amazing!! Short clip of it https://streamable.com/em784

I remember a discussion on our forums a few months back about whether or not it was realistic to equip the DA50 with Garmin GTNs. Only a handful of RW aircraft have had the STC performed, so there's really no pics available on the internet to show the installation. But after some deep browsing of the interwebs (a little bit of link manipulation via guessing) I managed to find this pic from an aircraft that was listed for sale last year. The aircraft has since sold and the photos and listing have been removed, but it turns out the pics are still out there to be found with a little bit of work. Small image, but you get the point. Have a look!
