Any of you guys fly with the default GPS? Sometimes I use a VOR/LOC mode to fly direct to a VOR before switching to GPS mode to continue down the GPS path. Whenever I do this, the autopilot always holds half a dot left or right of the GPS course. Only after previously using VOR/LOC mode. Anyone else notice this? -Tony

Hi everyone, I love flying the FSW Falcon 50. Definitely the best bizjet for P3D. The only problem I have with it are the exterior lights - they are way too bright and very unrealistic. The nav lights are super bright and seem to come out of the wings, the strobe lights are the same. The taxi and landing lights illuminate the ground during the day and show an effect like it would look like in foggy conditions, all the time. The wing/recog lights are also extremely bright and can be seen on the ground during the day. Here are some screenshots I captured - https://imgur.com/a/Xznxg6D Wondering if these could be overhauled in the next update. Thanks!

I am running P5D on Windows 10. As soon as I turn on the gauge backlighting all of my switches remain clickable but become invisible, as well as the yoke, I tried reinstalling to no avail. When I switch the gauge backlighting off the switches once again become visible. Anyone else having this issue?

Hi, Downloaded the the F50 v1.9H last night. Lovely aircraft. Noticed however a phenomenon with engines on, also noticed previously in the FSW Learjet, which I also own though don't have currently installed. Note that this effect is present when view is in the VC - and appears to be reliably triggered by a taxi turn, although will also occur less frequently when static. It is present with only 2 or more engines running (i.e. not present with only one engine running). I would describe it as acoustic beating with a slow period (about 30 seconds), and annoying to the point where I won't use the aircraft until I can fix it. The sound is of course best communica…

I bought the (excellent) Falcon 50 very recently and only flew that aircraft since then so as to learn it thoroughly. On these numerous daily flights I met with a few unrelated issues for which I am seeking help: During climb or descent on AP, after selecting my altitude and my VS, the plane will follow the selected VS up or down correctly, then, out of the blue, in the midst of its climb - or descent - suddenly the VS bug will jump to the extreme opposite direction, meaning if I had selected 2'000 feet/mn UP, it will go to 6'000 feet/mn DOWN, the first time that happened, I did not spot it immediately until my speed vanished under my wings to the stall limit... Now…

Hi: Think I've found 2 possible bugs: -Using the 2D pop-up autopilot controls, you can see the selected modes are illuminated. However, the VC lights are off. -I have the "Air Brake" mapped to a button on my control stick. When the air brake is "opened", you can see the light is illuminated in the VC, but the handle has not moved. Thank you.

Just want to start this off by saying I'm having a blast flying this around in P3D V5. This is the business jet I've been waiting/searching for and looking forward to the continued improvements down the road. My only small issue is the standby attitude does not move. I can adjust the 'miniature airplane' ok but see no movement on the ball itself during flight. Maybe a V5 bug? Any ideas? Thanks so much

Ignore below- I was assigning G1000_MFD - not PFD (it works fine if you use PFD) ===== edit === Are the below still current? - I mapped them to keypresses in P3D / controls and then to buttons via FSUIPC - but they don't seem to correspond to whats in the latest manual. - thanks - Julian (even just pressing the assign keypress doesn't perform the function) EG: "G1000_PFD_SOFTKEY4" = AUTOPILOT MODE APR ----- Actually toggles the YawDamper on / off "G1000_PFD_SOFTKEY1" = AUTOPILOT MODE 1⁄2 BNK "G1000_PFD_SOFTKEY2" = AUTOPILOT MODE HDG "G1000_PFD_SOFTKE…

I try to switch off the taxi lights by FSUIPC LUA (triggered by an external switch) with the following sequence: dummy=ipc.clearbitsUW(0x0D0C, 0x08) -- Clear Taxi-Lights Bit ipc.sleep(500) ipc.writeLvar("SW_TAXI_LIGHTS",0) -- Set Taxi-Lights Switch to OFF The switch changes its position and the taxi light goes out but one second later goes on again. So, how could I switch off the taxi lights correctly by FSUIPC ? Is it possible ?

Hi all, New user here, so please let me know if this is a RTFM question. I've had a couple of flights in the Falcon50 and I'm very pleased with the aircraft - great work Flysimware! My issue is this - I'm having a very hard time getting the plane to cruising altitudes above 36k feet. Once above about FL310, climb rate is very slow. I've tried mach hold as well as VS modes and I end up around 200fpm. I have not been able to get the aircraft above FL400 at all. I'm probably missing something with managing the engines but I'm not sure where. I'm using P3Dv5 so I'm blind with checklists... Any tips where I might be going wrong? Thanks, sg …

Falcon 50 v2.0b P3Dv4.5HF2, ASP4, ASCA, FSRealtime, PRO-ATC/X, lots of ORBX. Everytime a start a descent out of altitude I get a CTD with no crash report. The only thing I see before it happens is the video card load goes to 100% (however VRAM is still low.) I can restart the last saved position from FSUIPC and continue the flight, but this is annoying.

I am slightly confused as to how the fuel system works in the Falcon 50. If I am operating with a low fuel load, the "XFR" button lights up on the center tank. Does this mean the boost pump and XFR switch are supposed to be off for the center tank?

Payload Manager does not work with my FSX SE. I have the last update but even with engines off and AC delivered from external power. The payload manager is lighted, but nothing is operative: fuel, passengers and pilots and luggage I uninstall the Falcon 50 software and reinstalled it from my account in Flysimware but did not solve the problem. What am I doing wrong? .Thanks for helping

Falcon 50 2.0b P3dv4.5HF2. The FUELING caution light remains on no matter what I do. That means the wing tanks will not feed because the airplane fuel system is stuck in fueling mode.

Hello, Am I the only one having this problem with the lights not litten on certain buttons ? (smoking signs, GEN 1-2-3, AC1-2 APU buttons) This lead me to another problem while using the aircraft. I could live without the passenger annonciator, but the other ones are pretty frustrating as it diminish the functions of all these complexe systems. For exemple, I'm not sure my APU is working propelry. As I have no lights to confirm the GEN or the start is ON. I have to rely on the needle/meter. Starting the APU as mentioned in the manual, I only get the APU RPM % and GEN LOAD showing activity. I can see fuel burning, but as soon as I unselect EXTERNAL source…

Good Morning, I have the latest version of the Falcon v2.0B and the hot fix for P3Dv5 installed. The wing leading edges and engine cowlings metal have a blue colour and when I turn off Dynamic Refelctions in the Lighting Menu of the Graphics tab this solves the problem and all metal surfaces have the bright refelctive chrome finish. Just wondering if this is a known issue with P3Dv5 as I seem to remember that in P3Dv4.x you actually had to turn on this setting ON o achieve the highly polished metal reflection look. This also occurs for the Lear. EDIT: I've deleted the Shaders folder twice and the P3dv5 config file allowing rebilds and rebooting my…

Installed the P3Dv5 hot fix and all seems to be working well with the Falcon 50 so far. Test flight coming up since installing the hot fix, but this brand new P3D user is really enjoying it so far. Thanks for a great product.

After about 300 miles the feeder tanks run out of fuel. As far as i know I have followed the checklists to a T. Watching the needles more closely I noticed that the wing feeder tanks start off at the orange mark then slowly go down to zero at about 300 miles then the engines stop. The center tank seems ok. Any ideas about what i could be missing? I should mention that the main tanks are pretty full when this happens

First of all, I absolutely love this plane to death. The cockpit looks stunning in VR, and it is a dream to fly. However, I rarely fly the Falcon as the performance seems suffer quite badly in VR. I have a fairly small fleet of high end add-on planes I fly: Leonardo Maddog A2A Comanche and Bonanza Manfred Jahn DC-3 PMDG DC-6 and of course the FA50 The FA50 is by far the most resource heavy of the lot (followed by the PMDG DC-6, but even so, this is still noticeably better on FPS and VR than the Falcon). I have been lucky enough to be a beta member for the Maddog project for quite a while, and whilst I know that we are very fort…

I have been running v1.9H, but received an email from Just Flight saying that there was an updated version available. I downloaded from Just Flight and have a file FLYSIMWARE_FALCON_50_v2.0a When I try and install this file (by copying my Just Flight Serial number in) I get a message saying that I have the wrong Serial Key. I didn't even realise that version 2.0 was a thing. Do I just ignore this and stick with 1.9H? Thanks Neil

If you undock a window, e.g. the GTN or autopilot panel, you lose the ability to use the mousewheel to manipulate knobs. I'm only seeing this issue on V5, in V4 it seems to work fine.

I bought the Falcon 50 and have a few questions about proper operation: 1. I can't get rid of the red "Cabin" warning sign - it says in the manual that this means that the security latch isn't properly closed on the passenger door, the door itself is closed, though. 2. On takeoff I got a trim warning - how do I set and what is the correct trim setting for take off? 3. Are there speed brakes in the Falcon 50 that I need to arm before take off? If so, I couldn't find where they are located. Thanks!
