Dear Flysimware The Falcon 50 is a great aicraft and its now out for months and got several updates. But still, the ATC controller is calling each and every Falcon 50 "Zero". I removed all entries "atc_airline=Falcon", since it doesn´t work. It is simply not called "Falcon". In section General I changed to following [General] atc_type=DASSAULT atc_model=FA50 There is no Type Falcon, since this is the manufacturer mostly and the model Falcon 50 code is FA50. Where do I find the version info for the Falcon 50 that is installed in my P3D v4.5? Is the elevator trim animation simulated when viewed externally? Also, can the Falcon be flown by just one pilot in real life? I'm wondering why the APU controls are in the other side of the virtual cockpit far away from the pilot. Thank you.

Hi, I have noticed a strange issue with the Falcon 50 fuel counters. When the plane begins to burn fuel from the wing tanks, so the feeders are 609 lbs, the counter for the fuel used indicator is going up faster than it should. This results in unreliable indications for the total fuel used and aircraft gross weight gauges. Often after a flight I am routinely checking the actual fuel consumed against the estimated fuel consumed in the OFP. I noticed that if I make the sum of the total fuel used shown on the instrument panel and the total fuel on board after landing, the result is higher than the fuel I loaded before departure, which is impossible. Can someone point me to a walkthough of the plane? I just want to get from cold and dark, start-up, and then go a short distance from Point A to Point B using the GNS or GTN. I'm not looking for a checkllist or performance statistics since those are useless to someone new to the plane, and who does not know the terminology used or the location of the switches in the virtual cockpit. Something like: Step 1. Start switch labeled xxx in the lower left panel Step 2. Push switch labeled yyy in the right side of the front panel besides the large screen. ....and so on. Just installed version 1.8C. On previous versions when setting T/O trim on the yoke, a tool tip appeared showing the setting. I do not see that tool tip on this new version. Makes taking off rather difficult. Also in the operator's manual I see reference to a panel "trim needle" and in an earlier related post "proper setting should be in the green on the trim needle". I am not seeing a trim needle. The stabilizer gauge located with the aileron and rudder trim indicators on the panel shows no movement when I press the trim buttons on the yoke. Just downloaded the most recent update. I noticed 2 things: First, the new Dynamic lighting is great when operating at night. Runways and taxiways look fantastic. The only thing is, the Taxi/Landing lights illuminate everything during the brightest part of the day. Bright sunlight and the Taxi lights are lighting up the side of the hanger and other objects like a nuclear blast. Also, you shouldn't be able to see the glow of the Nav and Strobe lights from inside the cabin during daylight hours. Hi everyone, Just bought the Falcon 50 and am very excited to fly this aircraft. Unfortunately, after getting the aircraft started and ready to taxi, I noticed that upon releasing the parking breaks I could not move. I have my normal toe brakes mapped to the trigger on my thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS and have never had any issue with this sort of problem in other aircraft. I have tried a number of different combinations for setting the brakes using FSUIPC and the default controls menu in p3d and can't figure this one out. Hello everyone, I'm wondering if anyone knows the APU fuel burn/hr on the Falcon 50, preferably what has been coded on FSW's Falcon. I have never been in a Falcon 50 in real life, so my comparisons may be invalid, but I noticed there isn't any pack noise or noise from the avionics. It is strictly wind noise and engine noise. When the engines are at idle it is completely quiet. is this normal?

I have P3Dv 5 hf2 I note that after loading my Falcon that the GTN 750x2 doesn’t install I have used the Configurator Tool appropriately Is this my fault or update needed? What could I try? xxd09 PS Flight 1 750 works in other planes in this sim

This is just FYI as I will reinstall to correct the issue. Had P3D4+ and P3D5 installed. Had 441, Falcon50 and LJ35A installed for both. Uninstalled P3DV4 and through control panel uninstalled the v4 versions of all a/c. Started P3D v5 - 441 is only a/c that showed. Looking in simobjects I can see folders for 441, F50 and LJ35 - 441 is OK, F50 just has a panel folder and some .bak files and the LJ35 has everything BUT the aircraft.cfg file. My guess is the uninstaller got confused. Vic

Good afternoon, Could you confirm that the payload manager works in P3D V5? I do not seem to be able to add or subtract fuel or payload via the popup. I have taken a look at a previous post regarding someone not being able to make it work in FSX/SE but I am not sure that is applies for this version. Thank you

I added the RealityXP GTN750. They will boot up and work by pressing Shift_7 or Shif+8 but they will show as black in the VC.

Hello everyone, I've been trying to find anything regarding flying the Falcon with RXP 530W v2 on P3Dv4.5 and P3Dv5 but I couldn't, all I can find here or YouTube is regarding the GTN750 I would just like to ask, if there's any limitations with AP integration, or panel integration on running the Falcon with the RXP 530W or even the 430W or dual config (if natively supported, I don't want to run on window mode) Thank you very much and sorry for the trouble. regards, Igor

Hi, quick question here from a painter with not much experience with PBR: I have do a repaint for the Falcon and exported it via GIMP with the DDS plugin and DXT5. So far so good. The only issue I have, and I have this also the downloaded repaints, the chrome engine intakes and leading edges of the wing are much much darker - almost black. I know this has to do with PBR but do I have to do to lighten them? Or is this a issue of the paintkit?

Since the Milviz radar is pretty much abondonware for future versions of P3D, can we have an option to blank out that space on the Falcon's panel in the future? It's kind of a bummer constantly seeing it knowing it will never work for those using v5.

I've owned this plane for quite some time but never really took the time to do a C+D startup. So I found a really nice YT video by Jonfly and watched him start his copy up. I've done everything the same (GPU started) but as soon as I press START on the APU I see the backlight for just a millisecond (and the click associated with the push button) but it won't start. EDIT EDIT: Well I take this back...the APU is started there just wasn't a noticeable sound so I missed the rpm to 100percent. But I can't start the engine. I turned on AC1 and 2 inverters and bleed air on the APU. I press and hold middle red and white button to start but nothing happens. I wonder if …

Hi, Just picked up the plane and found this forum (did sent email to FSW support.) I'm having issue with the air brake -- I can't seem to get it to function properly.
