Hi, In my PDMG operation center i can see an uppdate available. However, i can't download it. Download start and stop one second later ... i tried many times, reboot my computer ... no way ... I all, I have created 3 personal liveries for my 747-400 V3. using PMDG paint kit, UTA F-GEXA Air Mauritius 3B-NZA Spirit Wings N1876 I read in pdf PMDG introduction page 78. "Each livery comes with a pre-defined definition "ini file". and I don't have obviously ini file for these planes; see image 2 jpg And I try to create configuration as explained in the documentation, but impossible.?? I receive "tire failure/Brake Temp " warning on almost every flight with 747-Queen. I went through FMC Aircraft Failures pages and initiated "No Active failure". But It comes back. How can I stop failures. "I dont even touch the brake pedals"

I often see a very slight difference between the charts and the FMC, but at KDFW the difference is quite significant: I am wondering why, particularly in the US, there is a large discrepancy between the charts and the Navdata in terms of bearings? Hi, all of a sudden I am having a strange problem with the new 747: regardless of which airport (CYYZ, EDDF, EHAM) I enter into the FMC, I always get the message "not in database". When I load a PFPX-generated flight plan into the FMC, it states that the route is invalid. I have tested this behavior with various Navigraph cycles (they are correctly installed into P3Dv4\PMDG\NavData\). airports.dat in that directory contains all airports that I tested. Keep having an issue with the aircraft not tracking the magenta line of the flight plan. Veers off to the right and to the left of the track all the time and never manages to settle on it. AP/LNAV/VNAV & Flight Director all active. Track Up ON No strong winds aloft present. CTL Input with AP On - Disabled When issue occurs The FD cross bars become a single horizontal bar. Sometimes aircraft goes completely off track. Hello! I already tried it on the GSX forum, but no help over there. Maybe someone here had the same problem. I use onlx the GSX pushback function, (newest gsx version) no other vehicles or so. I am able to request "prepare for pushback" on the GSX menu, the pushback truck appears and it is asking for the operator. But after selecting the operator the menu window disappears and nothing happens. No new menu for choosing push direction or something. Thank you!

Ok so I'm finding that fsuipc auto save feature isn't working when I'm in the cruise on long hauls. The panels are blank and nothings alive in the cockpit after re starting the flight , nor does the initialization countdown take place, basically the flight is over Pmdg tech support say the manual points out that the fsuipc auto save is not supported because it doesn't save all the required parameters. Ive been using fsuipc auto save successfully in p3dv3 up till now , but have just moved to v4 and I'm no longer able to resume . Has anyone found the same issue or a way to get round it because with an addon like this that's predominantly long haul its just not feasible…

The 747 for P3D v4 is loading up dead with no activation window. I tried installing the Simconnect as explained on the website, but nothing is working. I'm now repairing P3D hoping that will fix it. Please help! :) Thank you.

Please don't get angry with me, I'm just curious if PMDG still plans on creating livery specific service vehicles. It's been a while since I've seen anyone talk about this. I don't use GSX so I'd love to see some vehicles with the matching livery on them or something besides the PMDG logo. Thanks.

I've never really bothered adding an alternate into the FMC, I always have reserve fuel at 19.5kg as an estimated default value. But now I want to find out a more accurate value by adding an alternate to calculate the fuel I'll need to get there. Trouble is, I can't seem to find where in the manuals do they talk about adding an alternate airport in the FMC. If someone could give me a page number I'd appreciate it. Also: What is the MTOW and Max taxi weight for the 400? Is it 394.6 and 395.9kg as stated in the manuals? -Angelo

Hey All, I have noticed that on every flight I've flown so far in the 744 / 744F, at approximately 500-700' AGL, there is a slight reduction in thrust. It's not reducing to climb thrust. For example, my current flight BA214, BOS to LHR. At about 600' AGL, my EPR went from 1.58 to 1.56. No rhyme or reason. The indication was still TO +60 C and the "green line" was at 1.58. I'll post a screenshot after I land. Either way, it has happened on every flight I've done so far when doing a normal or derated takeoff. Hi First of all, I'm very excited about the new 747. The developers have done a great job. Thanks! In the passenger version, I use AES to operate of the two passenger jetways and GSX the luggage loaders with the luggage cars and Catering Vehicles, what is together quite realistic. After that I tried the cargo version from Cargolux. I was able to open the Nose Door from the FMC PMDG menu and request a PMDG service vehicle for the Nose Door, but there was no loading taking place. It seems that GSX does not recognize and operates the Nose Door either. Have I missed something? Or is there a work around? Enrico

Hello all, I'm having a strange issue with the PMDG 747 and I've tried just about everything now. I also have PMDG 737 and PMDG 777 installed and both work fine. Whenever I got to select the PMDG 747, in any livery including house, FSX crashes with a message "Microsoft Flight Simulator has encountered a problem and needs to close". There are no other details. A full reinstall seems to fix the problem but only until the next time I restart the PC. Then its the same story. Hi folks, fyi only: Ultimate Traffic 2 allows to replace their liveries by other liveries available in FSX. So, why not linking the PMDG liveries? However, the QOTSII liveries show the transparent forward fuselage as in the FSX select screen. 8^(

Hi, I got the PMDG 747 a few days ago but I can't fly with her... Everytime I select the Aircraft my flightsim crashes either when reaching 100% or (when I selected a default aircraft before) when I change the aircraft. I tried to reinstall sim connect, some of my addons (ORBX, Gsx, other addon planes) and I tried to repair my Microsoft.NET Framework. I really don't want to reinstall my whole sim, maybe some of you had the same experience with the aircraft or other products. regards, Marius

Hello! We have now 7 versions of the 747... this is absolute awesome! But I lost the overview a bit. I searched in the introduction PDF and the FCOM, but I could not find a comprehensive overview over the version specifications (PAX number, max cargo....) we get from PMDG. I find a ton of informations about the real world 747, but this is useless because I dont know which configuration PMDG choosed to model. Hi all, I have a problem with my 747. When I load flight (with C&D panel state), I can hear default FSX fuel pump sound. I thought it is normal, but as I saw a few videos on YT, I realized it is wrong. I spent all day by searching of solution, but unsuccessfully. I had similiar problem with my 737NGX a years ago, but there helped saving of the default flight (C-172) with battery switched off. I tried to reset default flight (and then set as I wrote), but it didn't help. Default flight and 737ngx is loading correctly, but 747 isn't. Help me, please. I am realy frustrated...:( Thank you in advance for the answers.

Hi, When I select a route offset it works as it should, but I can't get the offset removed by deleting or entering zero, as it should. The FMC display the message "invalid delete" or "invalid entry". This option worked properly in the past, maybe it was spoiled in some of the recent updates.
