I know it isn’t likely but would it theoretically be possible to make a Dreamlifter? I know cargo fliers would love it!

As said, i experience crash report every time i close P3D after my flight. It happens only with 747. I have latest version of P3D v3.4 and latest 747.

Hi , In PMDG 747 Queen of the Skies II, I had noticed that if you are away from the simulation for 15-20 minutes, the aural siren goes off and asking for 'Pilot Response'. In previous PMDG's products, I do not recalled that this feature is available. I had tried looking into the PMDG's settings and cannot find anything which would disable this setting. Any response and advise would be very much appreciated. Cheers, ctruong.

Lufthansa started a 747 shedule between Berlin and Frankfurt now. So, all my simulated short hops between German cities or other short european hops do make sense now. A very satisfying feeling that reality follows simulation!

Hi folks, during my today's flight CPA17 VHHH-VOMM with Cathay Pacific's 747F B-LIC I experienced again with and only with EPR as primary thrust indicator an oscillating thrust while taking off and after some stabilsation again during my climb. (PMDG 747 V3 - FSX 3.00.8466) 1. The aircraft FMC was well prepared, the A/C not too heavy, TOW 255 tons only, 2. LNAV, VNAV armed, after 50% N1 I engaged TO/GA. 3. EICAS displayed a TO2 EPR of 1.43 4. The throttles rapidly move back and forth so that EPR oscillates between 1.56 and 1.33. 5. Similar during climb at FL270: EPR1.46 but oscillating between 1.58 and 1.32. 6. On top I witnessed th…

For some reason the cg and zfw keep fluctuating between two different weights. I've tried reinstalling the PMDG 747V3 and loading from different panel states. No matter what weight I put in, it keeps changing and the cg will go negative. Any help is appreciated thanks! Also the fuel shown in FSX is 404000 lbs which is definitely over the max fuel level.

Hi there I have an issue with flying the 747 at night. The cockpit is way too dark, I even can't see the switches to turn on the dome lighting. How can I fix it? EDIT: Nevermind, I thought it was the same problem I had a couple of weeks ago. But this time it was an error of the livery. Kind Regards Marc

Hi. I do have a problem with the autopilot in B 747 v.3 When I go ower 10.000ft the autopilot disconnect, and When I engage it it disconnects after a few seconds How can I solve that problem?? B.g. Steen Hoejengaard

Does anybody know how to set the autopilot on the 747-400 to follow the flight plan using GPS (as per the default aircraft can) ? I only ask as I did a flight from Newark to London Heathrow and couldn't sus out how to set this, consequently I had to sit by the PC constantly for fear of missing an ATC instruction and my flightplan being cancelled. Also where are the NAV radio settings on the panel that will allow for an ILS approach to be captured ? Thanks in advance, and sorry if I am being a bit dim on this. Rgds Howard

Since the latest update I am unable to extinguish the caution light. and I have two faults showing , 1. Body gear steering error message 2. fuel transfer x4 I am unable to find the source of the error messages. Furthermore the autopilot disconnects itself and after recycling everything for about 10 minutes I am able to get it to function . That happens occasionally and not every time. I'm am using FSX steam edition. Another issue is the 737 ngx 600 update from the operation center keeps appearing after I start the ops center. I do the update but at the next start it reappears. Just buy 747 for P3D v3 Trying to install and a pop-up came saying...... ""......an outdated version of Prepar3d v3 has been detected.Before you can install this PMDG program you will need to update Prepar3d......"" i am sure i got p3d v3 and the .zip i have d/load is ""PMDG_747-400_QOTSII_P3D"" Any one got a clue here ? ?

I'm flying in a storm and crosswind environment programmed by AS16 and the 747 moves much more than the 777 is this normal?

Hello, I am sorry if this has been already solved on different topic, but during my search for solution, I did not find anything helpful. When loading in my beautiful PMDG 747V3 my P3D V3.4 stops working as soon as it is loaded. I have tried other aircraft, like the PMDG NGX, and they work fine. The only change that comes to my head is Windows update. Which looking at the timeline 99% is the cause, because before the update it was working beautifully. Just to let you know, I am not any tech guru so it would be nice to have the instructions as simple as possible. Thanks in advance, Rihards Lieknins.

Dear all, since my last update back to a few days ago the nose gear of my PMDG 747 QOTSII is not working anymore. Everytime a steer left or right the wheel turns to the chosen direction but my plane keeps on moving straight forward. I don't know how to overcome this annoying issue. Is there anyone out there willing or capable of helping me out? All the best Saverio

Hi, I use to see thunderstorms on the ND, but now nothing with the weather radar in WX+T or WX. I'm using Active Sky for P3D V4 and running the latest version. By the way, I'm still on P3D v4 and running the current version of PMDG 747 QOTS II. Haven't upgraded to 4.1. Thanks, George

Sorry, but I've been away from the scene for half a year or so. Just need a quick heads up about the 747 v3: is it compatible with p3d v4? And while we are at it it would be nice if you also could mention whether or not it's the same for the NGX and the 777 :) Thanks alot!

I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. Occasionally I get an X FEED CONFIG message on the EICAS at the end of my landing roll-out. The message goes away within a few seconds. I have searched the documentation but I've been unsuccessful. I suspect that after hard braking, and under certain fuel level conditions, the totalizer briefly senses differing fuel levels in the tanks. Am I on the right track here?
