PMDG 747 Queen of the Skies II

There is a small white box in the upper left corner, both at B777 and B747. If I expand the box, it becomes an MCP (which does not work). Is there any reason that the box exists?

Hi chaps, I am having a few issues getting the 744 to behave on an RNAV LNAV/VNAV approach. Well - it may be the way I'm doing it, the way the real thing does it, or the way PMDG modelled it, I am just not sure... The approach I am doing is the RNAV-Z onto RWY 34 at YMML (http://www.airservicesaustralia.com/aip/pending/dap/MMLGN01-152.pdf) It is a basic RNP-1.0 approach that the 744 is capable of doing, with no fancy curvy turns or anything. I'm unable to remove lateral route offsets by deleting or entering 0 into the offset space. I can remove it by reselecting the next waypoint and setting it as a direct-to, but this seems like a clumsy workaround. Is this a known bug?

Guys, I have this CTD with last installers 747 and 777 pmdg for p3d v4. at 20 seconds when i change the vc views the p3d close. ngx runs perfect. Good evening. I have a strange problem concerning the instalation of PMDG B744 and others. First of all... i cannot create or respond a topic on "Main Support forum" (i don't have the button enabled, don't know why), that's why is here. Before reinstall the B747, 777 and B737, i had a few repaints from PMDG. After reinstall, following the sequence b737, then b777, then b747, my Operations center does not work to to install liveries. When you click on menu, they simply close. So i donwoladed a few repaints from AVSIM, to 747, and after instalation and on FSX menu, the registration of the aircraft, and the flight number appears from previous instalations…

Hello, On stand at CYVR fuelling for a trip to RCTP. Planned fuel load was ~154,000 kg, and I was using ground services for fuelling. Ground contacted to inform me that, for this fuel loading to start, the stabiliser needed to be set to 6, and I followed his request to pressurise hydraulics 2&3 and then I set stabiliser to 6 as requested, and the captain's voice confirmed it was set to 6, then I depressurised 2&3 hydraulics. After a couple of minutes he requested the same thing, even though the stabiliser was set to 6 already, and fuelling did not commence. Not sure what I did wrong though.

Hi Have I loaded within P3DV4 the panel state COLD AND DARK, loaded the fuel, did everything as the procedure but the OIL T show a value of 11 and cannot start any of the 4 engines. Any clue? thanks in advanced

Hello, after the latest fix (complete reinstall) all seems to be ok, however, once I start up p3d and 744 v3 all displays are switched on (default start) but no data in it (e.g. like engines would be completely off but they are running, no data in PFD e.t.c.) any idea what this could be ? many thanks JM

I have a problem with my 747 and prepar v4. I create all my flights with FSC and have been for a long time with no issues. On climb out, engines are set for climb thrust, but the plane just can't get enough speed to climb up to crz. It just seems to get to about 6-7000 ft and sit there, climbing very slow with the engines running at climb rate , then leveling to try to gain speed, but never gets there. Starting to wonder if it might be FSUIPC. Going to try tonight with it disabled. I'm using win10, fsuipc5 with ORBX scenery, no payware airports installed yet. Anyone have any ideas on what's going on? Thanks.

Hello, monitoring fuel temps at northernly flights there is not a true °C indication, however depending on TAT the values cycle upward every 5 sec. At FL309 e.g. with TAT -22, SAT -54°C values begin at -22° upwards to -5°, at SAT -49° from -17 to -1°, and so on. Not a bug for sure, but Maybe there is a slight glitch? Kind regards Fritz B. Hi! I flying the 747 for the first time tonight. I can not find any TOC or TOD in my ND or CDU. Normal or not normal?

Do the 747 and 777 HF radios have any ability to be used by external add ons or plugins? Even if the radio is not directly connected with the sim, it would be interesting to be able to use the HF and Satcom radios on a network service - somebody could set up a simple old server and just let it hum along processing ACARS or HF requests from anyone who connects to it.

Unable to display dep/arr data (SIDS,STARS,TRANS) on the FMC with regard to Canadian airports, specifically CYVR, CYYJ and CYYC. Works fine in other PMDG craft (737NGX and 777). Anyone shed any light on this matter? Thanks for any help! Joe Smelser

Ok so i planed a flight from EDDF-KDFW and i planed a lot of fuel i got my fuel from PFPX and it went thorugh a lot of fuel very quick. My fuel flow was around 5-6. Thanks

hello everybody i tried to configure my 2nd joystick as a steering tiller for the 747 in p3dv4, via fsuipc. i deleted all regular control axis in p3d for the rudder and tiller. then i setup the tiller axis as Steering Set, and the rudder as regular rudder axis and calibrated it when i now taxi around, the steering tiller just steers the nose wheel, as it is supposed to do, but when i push the rudder pedals, the nose wheel turns along? is there any possibility to disengage that(resp to just have the few degrees like the real one?) many thanks for your help brgds Marc Marc Muller Luxemb…

I started this project awhile ago but life sorta got in the way. Anways, starting to put it together. Thanks to SteveDra for contributing his beautiful tail to the project. Anways hopefully inside the next week or so. In addition to just the repaint I've added all the current weathering I have on my template to this project and plan on doing more. To include wear on tires, inspection ports on the wings and engine pylons.

Hi I really have some problems with the brakes in B 747-400 v.3 E.g. when I taxi and use the brakes for les than a second, i get the message Brake temp7tire press. The same when im landing and im using the braker, the brakes iluminate, and I cant move the plane. Where o I ajust that so I can use the brakes?? B.g. Steen Hoejengaard

I submitted a ticket and ya'll said you were gonna look into this. I was hoping it would have been part of this update. Still getting it. Installied the 747 and NGX & 777 next. Not a big deal, just a little annoying. But thanks for the RAAS! It works nicely. Now, when can I have livery specific ground vehicles? Sorry for this added question.

**Posted originally in the wrong forum** I noticed some minor rocking left and right as I taxied at the same airport I have visited in the NGX and T7 without issue. As I got airborne there is some real rocking left and right, I have no weather enabled and winds are calm. Anyone else getting this? I check the STAT page and no inputs to cause the rocking are noted. I've taken a short video of my experience here: Any ideas?
