PMDG 747 Queen of the Skies II

After Pushback I always get an message displaying which says: "PMDGQOTSII: Pushback time elapsed. Pushback reset to off" I didnt get that in V3. Any way to get rid of it ?

Does the Queen V2 have the same weather upload features as the 777? Specifically route and descent forecast weather from AS16? Thank you. Bob Prince

I have: P3D V4 PMDG 747 FSUIPC V5 I want to assign one of my Saitek throttles to handle all 4 engines. I thought I did it with FSX and FSUIPC. I've tried and end up with some crazy results. Causing me to delete FSUIPC.ini. Please be detailed with your explanation as I think I'm missing a step. Thanks To All Who Reply. Bill McCracken

the only issue with the AF livery was the low resolution pegasus decal on the engine nacelle. 2kx2k texture sheet just wasn't cutting it. if anyone is interested, there's a 4kx4k upconverted nacelle texture sheet at http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links.php?catid=213&linkid=22815 sheet size is only double the original. works for both fsx and p3d versions of the QS2.

Hi there, I have an issue with ops Center: when starting I am getting a notification that there is an update for the 747, after clicking on "install update" the installation starting (you can see shortly that ops center starting to download something), but then directly it changes back to the notification page and "no new notification" is shown. When I shutting down and restarting ops center again notification for update is shown, but cannot install the update (same case as above) Any idea? of course I have disabled also AV & firewall, but no success Thanks Dimitrios Tsekmes

Hi, I have recently accquired the PMDG 747 QOTS II and it is a phenomenal add-on! However, I am having trouble showing some of the included vehicles, such as the maintenance van, cleaning, portable water and the trucks towing the GPU etc. I can see the blinking light and I am able to see the headlights and tail lights illuminate the ground at night, but I cannot see the vehicles themselves. I am able to see all the highloaders and stairs and the GPU. I have tried it at various airports, without success. I do have the latest version of FSUIPC installed and I am running GSX. However, when trying the the ground vehicles of the 747 I did not run GSX.

Hello. Im getting blurry text in the displays. when sitting in the vc as shown below. When I click the the displays to pop out they are fine. Look at the fuel in the middle lower screen its all blurry ??? Im thinking I have tinkered with one of my ndivia settings someonehow..I have a 980ti. some help would be great thanks

I have a big problem. Due to P3D V3 becoming less and less stable, most likely due to FTX scenery, GSX or a combination of both, I reinstalled everything from the ground up. The thing is, that the 747 doesn't work anymore. Everytime I close P3D after a flight, I get a message saying the PMDG_747QOTSII_2.dll crashed. It does that also if I don't make a flight. Just loading the aircraft is enought to make it crash on exit. Suspecting it may have something to do with the hours files and the options cfg that I reused from the last installation, I removed them and tried to reinstall the 747 again. Hi, Like the title says, when using GSX pushback plane shakes violently. This must be related to the fact that front gear is quickly turning left/right. Pushback is done right on spot, only vibrations. Anyone experiencing this as well? Tom Link

A huge drop of fps while flying at night with PMDG 737 or any other GA Aircraft. Day flying with 1080ti approx 60-70 fps cockpit view and 80-90 fps external view. Tested at night flying and the fps drop to 6-7 internal and 12 external. Any help? Geo

Is there a way to save the position and size of the 2D panels (PFD, ND, EICAS) in a panel state, or in any other way? The background of this question is as follows: I'm using a Dell UltraSharp 34 Curved Monitor which has an aspect ratio of 21:9. That means that every time when you click into the PFD, ND, or any other of the displays for the FIRST time, you get the 2D panel in the same aspect ratio as the physical monitor. In other words, these 2D panels are always distorted when you open them for the first time, and then you have to resize them manually until they fit your needs. Kind regards, Urs von Aesch

Hey! One day ago I bought the PMDG 747 for Prepar3D. I have currently installed Prepar3D V3.3.5. I tried to update this simulator to 3.4 but after updating I still have V3.3.5, is this normal? The next, and bigger problem is that PMDG won't let me install the 747 it keeps saying they detected an outdaet version of Prepar3D v3. (http://prntscr.com/fv6vnb) I tried to update P3D with the file given at their Website two times, but it doesn't work. Do you have any good ideas? Regards s110103

In order to have lights illuminate the ground I must have Dynamic Lighting turned on. I don't have a state of the art system so when I turn on Dynamic Lighting it really cuts my FPS. Anyone else see this? Otherwise it's fine and now I'm going to be buying the NGX which I already bought a while go for FSX for P3Dv4.

I just bought the 747-400 base install for fsx:se yesterday and installed it. PMDG Operations Center tells me there is an update available. When I click the OK button, another window pops up showing a black bar download progress but it only shows in milliseconds and nothing happens. Also when I download liveries using the Livery Download, it does nothing. Just a flash of the RED notification on the top right hand saying I have 1 notification. But checking the Notification say's I have no notifications. I have a similar problem with the 737-800NGX that I bought few months ago and complained to the [email protected].
