Has anyone noticed that LRC has increased from the .85 area to over .86?

Hello! What is that? And how can I disable it?

I do remember the operation tool is quite intelligent and if you uninstall and reinstall the plane, it always gives the option to repair the livery, but not lately. Is it related to my me PC, or anyone else have this small problem where in the OP you have notification and not been able to fix it?

Hello everybody, A few days ago, I installed P3DV4 and QOTSII and I'm practicing the cold'n'dark start-up procedure according to Tutorial No 1. I press the overhead battery switch, turn the standby power selector to auto and turn the APU switch to ON. Then I try to monitor the APU start-up on the STAT page, but there's no indication of APU temperature etc. The lower EICAS display the FMCs is completely dark and it starts showing APU data only when the APU has already stabilised and I switched to APU GEN or ground power has been connected. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Hi I just crashed the 747 while approaching LGAV (flytampa) in P3Dv4. The crash occured during final approach when I set the MDH. I held down the right mouse button and dragged the cursor to the right. Sadly no error log was created. P3D just ended. No log in the log viewer either. I assume that it has something to do with a micro stutter introduced during the airport scenery load that close (~6nm) to the airport. The stutter is normal but this time I held the mouse down and changed values while it happened. Note: I HATE the way the MDH/MDA and Baro knobs are to be used. It takes forever to set these values and is pretty inaccurate. Please oh please add mo…

Hi, Why is it that every time I press the autopilot it keeps disconnecting? It has never done this in the previous version of the 747-400. Ken Manning

Hi, Not a big deal but i do not get the above function after a uninstall of the Queen and reinstall. Should there be a "repair liveries" if i wish to recover them ? (P3Dv4) You may ask why i already uninstalled/reinstalled her but it was to get rid of my P3Dv3 version to safe some hdd- space. I get this message for the 777LR in P3Dv3 (as i just installed it to P3Dv4 as instructed) PS! The PMDG777 - P3Dv3 is still listed in the OPC as installed (i only installed the V4 version) strrange Update: ahh its because of the - 300ER offcause :-) Thanks Michael Moe

Hi, I was enjoying the Queen today and messed up my decent. I had to abort the approach and entered the hold as published. Now, and forgive me if this isn't the place for this question, how do I restart the approach? I can't seem to figure it out. I can put in fixes but can't seem to see how to restart the approach. The approach name and runway are still selected under the Dept/Arrv screen. P.S. I don't feel like reading the manual and would hope tapping into the knowledge of the members here won't be too offensive. Thanks.

Hey experts!! Do I am running the beta AS4 (AS2016 for P3Dv4) and the v4 747-400. In the FMC I have the option checked to create the WX.PLN file but I cant seem to locate where this file is being generated to. In v3 it was generating to My Documents\P3Dv3 Files and I would load it in to AS2016 once the plan was generated in the FMC. So far - no luck. Any thoughts or suggestions or help?

Today I installed HiFi's AS4, when it installed it ran a simconnect module. Don't know which one. No problem. So I ran P3Dv4, and wanted to do the tutorial flight to KSFO. So as usual for the last several days I loaded the default jet, and went to KDEN. Then I switched planes and it worked fine. I then decided to quit the sim. When I re-ran the sim I was all set for the tutorial but now after loading the default plane I get the same black screens, engines running, and no gear, no initialization. Why did it work once today for me and now it will not? I don't understand this. This is all I did. So I quit the sim, rebooted and tried it again …

Howdy, Kyle mentioned to me that I could copy over my INI file for the 747 Options so that I wouldn't have to rebuild it again. Has anyone done this yet and have you brought over the individual aircraft (in they exist in v3) in to v4? Any issues?

Good day, just wanted to say: The queen flies great! There is only one small thing I see: Strange traffic on TCAS which should not be there. I am offline, traffic at 0% and see traffic on the ND.... Strange but only a minor thing :-)

Dear commanders, I 'd like to place the overhead panel of the PMDG747 v3 on a second monitor. I am running Win10 with Radeon200 graphic card. Prepar3d v4 with 2 monitors and 1 Ipad. I can use it as extended or a separate monitor (my choice if possible) Could someone give some hints how to handle it? Regards, Reynaldo Duarte

I noticed on my past 2 flights with the 744, that when I clicked on the PFD to bring up the pop up, the game would freeze, then crash. No error message, and nothing logged in event viewer. On today's flight, I popped up the FNC just fine not long before the PFD. And both times it was about 7-8 hours into the flight, so maybe it's a memory issue? Because it works fine in the beginning of the flight. It's on P3Dv3, Win10

Dear all When I am on my take off roll I hear a click and as I am climbing out and look around I see the APU has started by itself. Am I doing something wrong that makes it turn on or?

Hi, I've installed the new QOTS II for P3Dv4. She's quite the looker! Anyway, I'm having FPS problems while interior viewing and pretty close to steady 30 FPS exterior viewing. I've tried this and that with no luck. I'm even seeing single digits! Noooo. Why I'm asking for tips is that I'm swamped with all the newness; AS16, Orbx, new simulator version and a new version of the Queen. I won't list my settings to save space, although you can see my setup in my signature. My CPU isn't maxed, neither is my video card during a run. I would be thankful if any of the folks seeing steady 30 FPS in the cockpit could share their general settings or sugg…

I was walking outside the plane with my avatar and as soon as I wanted to switch back to the cockpit with CTRL+SHIFT+E my flight sim wanted to load something but its crashed. Has anyone experienced the dreaded ntdll.dll CTD with v4 I was on an 8 hour PHNL/KCLT flight and had clicked on the FMC, ND and EHSI a few times along the way. About 30 miles from TOD I clicked on the CA side EHSI and the sim froze up, the F/O side allowed me to click on it but then the sim just CTD. My APP Crash program said it was was the ntdll.dll, this happened on an attempt to do LOWW/CYVR about 200 miles out. My settings were about mid range. Has anyone else had this issue with the new V4 and the QOS? Thanks Randy Smith

I noticed with PMDG 747 a drop of 20fps in outside view (from 70fps average to 50fps average) when I switch ON the Logo lights and wing lights. Does anyone knows why? With all lights ON P3D gets to 25 fps average. Is it only due to AA it seems... 4xSSAA vs 4xMSAA... Dynamic reflections option is OFF. Casting and receiving is selected only for internal and external vehicle. Shadow quality is High and draw distance is Medium. Dynamic light is selected. Reflections are selected for User Vehicle, Terrain and Buildings, special effects detail and distance are set to Medium.

to be able to fly a full 747 schedule from hub to hub to hub with almost max settings, and not have to be concerned about an OOM crash. I flew from KMCO to KDTW with about a 1 1/2 hour stopover, then over to RJAA. AS16/ASCA, UTLive at 100%, Orbx Global, LC NA (looking forward to vector), Radar Contact 4.3, STB, and the mighty PMDG 744ER with current Navigraph Ultimate (new Jepp. charts are great). Not one stutter, FPS stayed above 20 the whole time, and this is all thanks to a 64bit P3D with FSAerodata, and all the genius 3rd party developers. The future looks very bright now - very much looking forward to the 777 and 737. Thank you PMDG!

This looks like a bug... I'm in page 20/22 on the Panel Options and I can't toggle the autobrakes or minimums & baro knobs options. I press the LSK and nothing happens. The other pages appear to be working. This is on the Kalitta 744. Alex Pugh

I did a clean install from FSX SE to PREPARED V4. The Operations Center is no problem, performed the updates. Before the install from the PMDG Website, I disabled the Windows Firewall and Defender. The Install Wizard even completed with no problems. One thing I noticed while it was installing the files were directed towards steam. Either way, the Queen is not in my hanger. Dan Longano
