Anybody knows how to modify the aircraft.cfg to get the max possible range of 2300 nm for ferry flights? Greets Otto

Can someone please explain to me in depth how we can import flight plans into the GPS that comes with the one we download from Carenado? I was hoping to import from PFPX but it may appear I cant do that? I understand how to bring the flightplan up in the Garmin however they dont show. Regards Ben

Hello everyone, Sorry if this if posted before, I have had a search and found nothing. I purchased the PC12 two days ago and it's smooth flying so far except for one thing: PROP LOW P. The second I turn battery power on, this alert appears and will not disappear. I start the engines to the book, never over torque the engine etc. but the light stays on. Could it be a bug in my setup of a Saitek throttle quadrant causing this or something else? Thanks Brett

I'm considering the PC-12 V2.0 due largely to the mods made by 'autogyro' and Bert Pieke. I've been wary of accurate turboprop engine behavior within FSX, but reading threads in this forum souunds encouraging. Have the mods been completed yet for PC-12 V2.0? Thanks / Les Parson

When I fly the Pilatus PC12 I normally leave the power lever at full throttle at cruise for climb I bring it back one notch to set climb power. My question is by running it at full throttle in cruise up at FL260 will that hurt the engine?

Was the problem of the switch for the former also controlling the latter (i.e. they should working independently of each other - and they don't on my v2) ever resolved here or by Carenado?

GTN Trainer and F1 gauge all installed and powers up in my PC12. I now cannot use the GNS 530 to enter a "direct go to" route and follow it with the AP and am confused about how to load flightplans in the GTN 750. This is what my manual says but it is gobbledygook to me and if this is what is required to follow a route in AP I am going to be disappointed. This is more hassle than an FMC. Is there any way to just punch in an ICAO destination as you can with a Garmin 530? Or do you have to write a program each time in notepad and save it and load it? Has anyone noticed odd ILS LNAV issues? I typically use the PC-12 on FSEconomy and fly in and out of KBNA as my round-trip hub. Last night there was pretty poor visibility preventing what is almost always a visual approach. I did 6 roundtrip legs into KBNA via ILS 31. I'm using v2 with GTN 750 Default KBNA scenery 111.95 in NAV1 Autopilot set to NAV 316* on the course Switch from GPS NAV to HDG Set VLOC on the GTN 750 I'll set capture angle within 15 degrees and the HSI will reflect the course and GS. However instead of capturing the expected course the plane will make a near 90 degree left turn. It's always a left turn. …

Is there a way to connect ground power on the PC12? I know there is a switch for it on the overhead panel but I haven't found anything that actually connects the GPU. Not getting my hopes up that Carenado included this but I figure I would ask.

Hello, i use P3D_3.4.18.19475 on Windows 10 and i have a problem with the Servo Tabs (Flettner Klappen) on Rudders and Aileron. The rods are unhooked on both sides! Can anyone confirm this behavior?

Hey everyone. I am wondering what would be the best way to set up the WX Advantage radar on the PC12 V2. I am looking to place it on the bottom radar multi function screen that I really have no use for. A weather radar would be what I need and the current one from Carenado does not work. I've noticed about 1 out of every 4 flights while entering my flight plan on the ground that my heading on the primary and steam secondary will fall "out of sync." Has anyone encountered this and overcome it? It makes flying by headings quite the chore because it's essentially 100 degrees to the right. On the ground In the air

I've just finished this PC12 paint and I promise myself it'll be the last Carenado I'll do. They suck the will to live right out of you. Anyway, this is it. Should you look for pictures of the real one you'll find that there are more shades of blue than you could have imagined! I've plumped for 'something in between'. I've just installed Version 2.0 with GTN750. The GNS 530 (under the GTN750) goes black after few minutes and even though i turn it on/off it stays black. I can't change radio frequencies of course but radio works. Thanks.

My annunciator panel is difficult to read in the PC12. The words are blurry, even when the panel is enlarged in other views. Does anyone have a recommendation for this? JOHN

I am working with the PC12 V2 and notice something odd that I experience in the Phenom 100 as well. At cruise altitude, I will occasionally get 0ft on the Radio Altimeter. In the Phenom 100, it causes and annoying alarm. In the PC12, it causes the barber pole to suddenly jump up. What do you suppose it is?

Hey Guys, I hope you can help me out, I'm scratching my head with this one.... I purchased and installed the GNS530 system from reality, ran through the installers and the carenado guage installer, however the guage looks like it's installed as the 'staticish' reality xp logo shows on the guage, but i can not interact with any functions..... am I missing something.... I may have a few (naughty) guage files as i wnted to try it before I bought it..... Help Please....

Hello, I own a few of Carenado's planes, the PC12 being one. Would anyone be interested in creating a livery that serves or flies around the Bahamas? It could be the PC12, Dornier, or other. I have been developing a project that covers all the Bahamas Islands with photoreal water and land textures, custom vegetation, airports with custom ground polys, and hand placed autogen. For those who are still flying the default V2 with a GTN750 in the panel, I have a package that can be requested via PM to me with your email address that includes the following fixes: - Pitot Heat operational - GEN switches ON by default - EHSI shows correct CDI deflection when GTN is on test page - Duplicate click sounds removed - GNS530 shows correct NAV2 ident information - GNS530 COM2 dial works correctly - GNS530 MSG set to OFF and Avidyne is OFF (personal preference) - Antiskid brakes enabled - YD is turned off if autopilot is turned off, using the Z-key As best I know, Autogyro is looking at his V1 engine indicator…

I just bought this excellent plane and I'm really enjoying it. But I have two questions and I can't seem to find an answer, even when I do an online search for a real manual (which can't be had). 1. What is the Manual Override lever located next to the throttle lever for? 2. Can someone please explain what the crosshatches are for on the bottom left of the instrument panel? Yesterday I did a flight with the pc12 ( not new version 2) and in the spot view the model of the aircraft was incomplete. Parts of the fuselage where missing and I could even see the pilots feet on the rudder pedals. Never had this issue before and haven't tweaked anything. Any ideas? Thanks Jason
