PC12 FSX | P3D

Could someone please explain the issue with the Carenado PC12 not picking up Glide Path on RNAV/LPV approach with the GTN750. It appears, reading forums, its a bug, but I don't understand the procedure to fix it. Anyone else using the GTN750 in any plane and had similar issue and how to fix please? Is it still an issue with the newer versions (appears so the way i'm trying). If not what am I potentially doing wrong?

When I request fuel loading in GSX using P3D v4.4 I've discovered that when it does it it also clears all the payload fields with the exception of the pilot which remains at 180. I've raised it on the GSX forum but thought I'd mention it here as you chaps are expert on the PC-12. Anyone else spotted it?

I notice on all my flights the A/P TRIM warning message is always displayed? What causes this message? I am in autopilot flight with Yaw Damper set. I notice on the yoke the trim is indicating 10%

Just tried doing a quick flight in this bird from 5B2 to KCDW. I have the F1 GTN installed. When I engaged Nav mode the airplane just started weaving left and right hunting the track with no logic. Bank reached 35 degrees and I'd have to disconnect the A/P. Tried conitinuing the flight the HDG select mode only and the same thing it just weaves and hunts the course badly. Even if I turn it manually and line up the heading and engage heading mode it starts veering off course and banking very steeply. Good afternoon everyone, I finally purchased the Carenado PC-12 since they are having a sale going on, I have been lurking this forum for a while trying to get a feel for the PC-12 as I knew it was only a matter of time before i would purchase it. I keep reading about Bert's wonderful modification and without having tried the pc-12 yet im looking at installing the mod as it seems to gather much praise. Hi Folks, Ok - I've been lazy... Confession: I haven't been doing cold starts on this bird even though it's a favorite... To be fair - we've had serious issues with Carenado turbine starts though - such as R and L Igniters being erroneously tied together in twins - makes it pretty hard to do it realistically... One of the comments on the new FDE stated improved start procedures... So - how do we start this bird without an official "Prop" lever ? I know the RPM is set via the rocker switch - but you can't set a switch to a known position before start ? Anyone care to share ? Thanks... Regards, Scott

Anyone else have this problem? I am using the Carenado PC-12 with the F1 GTN 750 installed. Except in a RNAV approach, the AP has a difficult time tracking the course when turning from one waypoint to the next if the turn is more than like 10 degrees to the left or right. It either begins the turn too late, or doesn't command a steep enough bank, or a combination of both. Then it will start doing S turns, trying to capture the magenta line, often failing completely to ever get back on course. I do not have "half bank" selected. Hi i've just bought the PC12 and can't get it to autoland for some reason. I like to have the option and I can with everything else. It doesn't seem to want to engage with the glide slope but it does with the localiser. I couldn't find anything in the manual about it. What does the arm light mean? Many thanks

Just got the Carenado PC12. One flight so far.. The AP is intuitive. and WORKS. I'm running the GTN 750 and Bert Pieke's AP popup mod. I expect many fun hours in this bird.

Hi all For some reason when flying above about 10-11000 feet I get a red cabin pressure warning on the CAS. I have also noticed that when I dump the pressure and level off my cabin pressure altitude continues to increase. I have spun the knob to set it to cruise alt and still to no avail. Any help here would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello I'm new to the PC 12 and have installed the Flight1 GTN750. I can't get the autopilot to recognise an activated flight plan in the 750. I enter the flight plan into the GTN 750, activate it i and after takeoff select Nav and AP mode in the Autopilot controller. The aircraft refuses to fly the planned course. Am I missing a step? Hello, I have just started with the PC 12 with P3D v 4.3 but have a problem. When I start the engine, the Ng shoots up to 101 and the Torque goes to 44 and flashes and nothing I do with movement of the throttle or condition lever seems to change these readings. Hi: I'm had to re-install my sim. I am attempting to use the most latest mod (panel=V57) but I can't get the GTN to display in the panel. The default GPS appears but it is off. Need help getting the GTN in the panel please. V57 is listed in the GTN config. and shows on/active. Thanks!

As soon as the engine starts the plane begins moving and speed increasing. Parking brakes are set but do not hold even at low throttle. Same if I use brakes on rudder pedals. Is there a setting to adjust braking?

Hi together, I fly the PC12 aircraft only by keys. On ground and during takeoff the pitch key NUM-8 is working properly. Airborne also all other keys are working well- instead of NUM-8. So I can't control the elevation. P3D V4.2 is running. Controls are deactivated. Any ideas????? Best regards Peter

Hi crew: Running the PC-12 in P3Dv4 w/ the latest mods found here. I can't figure out for the life of me how to add the 2nd gtn to cockpit. I have 1 (on the top) but the second unit (bottom) is still the sim default GPS. Can someone please help me configure so I can get 2 gtns in the VC and remove the default. Thank you! Hi, I have PC-12 with Bert & Autogyro mod installed. Everything is fine but I found strange behawior the Barber needle on airspeed indicator. The needle start going down from 320 knots and stay glued at red bar on indicator scale (236 knots) when plane is on 15000 ft altitude. In PC-12 manual (page 2-2) stay that Vmo=240 and Mmo=0.48, KIAS=236. Next page is Vmo schedule and we can find that for ex. At 30000 ft. KIAS is 173 knots so barber needle should be in this position. I also wonder if I need two RealityXP, GNS 530W XP and if commenting out one will gain more FPS and if so, how? My PC12 has recently started to act up and I'm not sure what the cause is. The elevator trim was fine then after I installed Bert's panel mod and several repaints the bird needs about -10 degree trim to fly level from about 150 knots and up. I restored the panel to the original state and the issue is still there. Also looked through the aircraft.cfg to see if I accidentally deleted something but found nothing out of the ordinary. It is flying like the flaps are down but they are not. Do any of you have any ideas I can try?
