PC12 FSX | P3D

Would someone like to have a go at integrating the ISG gauges into the PC12 similar to how JanekB has done with the Citation and the Flight 1 PC12 on the ISG website. It would be great to be able to fly SID and STARs and more accurate instrument approaches. steve s

On every flight after about thirty minutes, all my screens go black. I go to the overhead and flip a couple of switches to bring them back on. How can we avoid that problem from happening?

Regarding the KAS297C preselector and it's operation: 1. Dial in the target altitude 2. Push ALT ARM 3. Adjust the VS speed (default 500 fpm) with the knob, or the rocker switch on the autopilot Note: The VS ENG button engages VS mode, without ALT capture.. With my mods, you'll find that this works with the correct indications, and in FD as well as AP mode. Send me a PM (with your email address) if you want a copy.

I have odd issues. The pop up Shift+6 panel doesn't pop up anything. And can I actually have two Rxp GNS 530's in the VC cockpit? With both functioning? At the moment I can only get the top one to Rxp. Thanks for any help! Regards. Keven Goodrich

This checklist is a short 2 page checklist for the PC-12/45, based on the PC-12/47E short checklist and the PC-12/45 checklist items. Hello: I'm experiencing two issues with the PC-12 in FSX Steam. Also, I did install the modification listed in this forum. -First, no CDI deflection/movement when in GPS mode. -Secondly, the power gets stuck/frozen at 100%. When I level out at altitude I try to reduce the power a little using my throttle, manually by moving the throttle with the mouse, and use the F1/2/3 short keys but the power refuses to change. I literally have to shut the engine down and re-start the engine before the power responds again appropriately. Thoughts/ideas would be helpful. Thanks!

I am using the PC12 in Prepar3D v2.5 and the FPLAN function simply does not work. The only way to navigate is using direct to, which no one wants to do, so can someone please help? I payed $40 for a plane that I cannot use because It does not have a GPS. NVM just learned you cannot program the GPS in P3D

I am not getting any sound from both the pusher and fire alert buttons when pressed. The wav files are in the sound folder and when open are ok. Can anyone offer me advice on how to fix.the problem please? I've only recently downloaded the aircraft from Just Flight so I did a re-install but with same result. Thanks

Installed dual rxp 530w gps with unlimited pack. Crossfilled. Cannot tune the #2 vor separate from #1 vor. They are linked to the EHSI only. Also when I use the small nav knob of the # 2 gps it tunes the com freq. I can only change the nav freq using the nearest vor selection. This only relates to the #2 gps.

I first downloaded the Carenado PC 12 for FSX in Nov 2015. I then upgraded to Autogyro's version 1.8. Today I discovered on my account page at Carenado's website that there was a Service Pack (20141002) that I never installed. Should I still do this? Should I then go through the reinstall procedure for version 1.8?

Just bought the PC-12. Have had and flown the wings off the FSX Flight1 Pilatus. Love this plane - favorite single engine aircraft. Just got the Carenado PC-12 on sale and the flight model is rubbish! It just wants to pitch up and climb all the time. Drives you completely crazy. Down trim is on full and still does it. I did a clean re-install. No improvement. Re-calibrated my Saitek - made sure the pitch trim was set in the neutral detent. No improvement. My other Carenado planes including their nice B200 don't do this. And then, there is the famous runaway problem on startup that I thought everyone knew about with turboprops in FS and had found solutions…

Other than letting the autopilot do all the work, can someone tell me where the controls are to change the settings on rudder, aileron, and elevator trim? I see the gauge near the PCL that shows the current settings. Also, has anyone used the Saitek Trim Wheel to control elevator trim?

If anyone can help me edit the contact points to soften up the suspension so it doesn't bounce as much on grass and dirt strips it would be appreciated. Thank you! Still loving this airplane and with Bert and Autogyro's mods it is practically perfect

Our Royal Canadian Mounted Police have a small fleet of these PC-12 to haul around both VIP's and bad guys. Anyway I wondering if anybody has seen a repaint of this aircraft for the Carenado PC-12? I checked Avsim and sort of checked OzX as well. I say sort of because it looks like they changed the repaint area of their website and now I can't seem to find much of anything there now. Hello, I just installed the Carenado PC12 and the RealityXP GNS530WAAS. I love the two paired together, but when I create a flight plan in the GNS and set CDI to GPS, the OBS automatically rotates to the appropriate course, the autopilot navigates on NAV mode perfectly, but I get no CDI deflection if I hand fly and stray off the center of the course. This is not much of a big deal while enroute, but when trying to fly an LPV approach, I do get the glideslope indication but the CDI still does not deflect left or right as it would in real life. This makes flying the LPV approach by hand very difficult by having to look over to the GNS CDI indication instead of my HSI. Als…

Guys, I post this to hopefully help someone else that might have the same problem I did. I run P3D v2.5 with all current hotfixes. When I got the PC12 I went to Cold & Dark and then proceeded through the checklist. When I got to the Engine Start every time I would start the engine (with ignition AUTO) it was at full torque and would runaway right through parking brake and across the airfield. The only thing that slowed it down was moving power lever in Beta range but by then I was off my stand and out of position. The other issue I had was with this process when I hit the starter the prop would spool up but never actually get engine start until I pushed the igni…

Does anyone know how to add the VOR identifier to the EHSI? For instance, say I have Santa Monica VOR tuned, I would like the EHSI to display SMO....Is it possible to add the code to the XML gauge?

The real world PC-12 automatically regulates prop RPM. This Carenado rendition responds to the prop rpm setting in FSX. Should I just leave the prop at max since Carenado really does regulate RPM behind the scenes? Or did they totally neglect this little detail? THanx in advance Donald

Does anyone have some helpon how to make the landing lights brighter. Taxiing at night has pretty hard. Can not see the runway very well. The strobe is a little dim also. Can remember seeing anything on adjustments in the forum. May not be able to do anything. So many of the lights are entered into the plane's framework. Thanks

I've only had a day or so to examine SP1, but a number of the initial problems have indeed been addressed. The rudder pedal animation is fixed, the Strobe indicator light bulb has been replaced, the standby altimeter works, most of my autopilot mods have been incorporated (you can operate the autopilot in FD mode, for example). The transponder timer works. etc I'll provide a new version of my mods that address some of the remaining problems, but please add your own findings to this thread, so we know what still needs work.
