PC12 FSX | P3D

I can't get the cabin door to stay open. It opens then slams shut. Parking brake is set and everything turned off. What am I doing wrong. Thanks.

Does anyone know why after about 30 minutes into a flight, all the instruments shut off The battery and generators are on Why does the battery discharge during flight, you can watch the amps slowly decrease? Any ideas? Richard

Is there any way to get the airplane registration written above the pfd in the cockpit like it is in the real airplane?

What is the lowest temperature the aircraft can fly in? Is it limited by temperature because of possible fuel freezing? It is -39c over Sweden at FL270 and I can't find a fuel temperature gauge anywhere.

I did a little work on adding Shockwave lights to the PC12. I worked to get them to look right. I got as close as I could and they look OK on my computer. If anyone wants a starting point here you are. I'd like to make the clock in the engine instrument display to show standard time, not local time. Can I do it?

Not everyone cares about the accuracy of the Hobbs meter, but as best I can tell, each digit is one above the correct value... ie 16.7 becomes 27.8 I've sent this to Carenado as a bug, but if anyone cares enough to want it fixed now, I can send you a edited interior model file (warning - big file..) -_- ..along with a corresponding fix for the Gauge_Update.xml file.

I put a person in each load section, and 400 lbs in the back for their baggage and cargo, but the airplane acts unbalanced during flight, on approach and landing. Is it not designed to add a load to each section?

I find this airplane fairly difficult on approach and flair. Sometimes I've had the runway almost out of my view to the top of my screen. I *think* I've improved it somewhat by paying more attention to AOA and airspeed (85KIAS) but then I come to the flair. At 40 degrees flaps it *really* seems to want to land on all three wheels at right about the same time. Anybody have any experience with the real aircraft that they can offer? Gregg

I'm wondering if anyone else is having issue with the PC12 accelerating on start up. I have the brakes on but it pushes the aircraft forward anyway. I have checked all my axis settings yet this still happens every time I start up the aircraft. This only happens for about 5-10 secs where the engines pulls the aircraft forward even with the parking brake applied. I've tested the condition lever various positions, disabled prop pitch but still having this issue. I don't have any add ons except for the free version of fsuipc, and some obrx scenery. I have yet to see anyone experiencing the same issue. I don't have problems with any other aircraft just this one. Lo…

I noticed that on a Cold/Dark AC as soon as you turn the Batt SW on the Voltage starts dropping at a very high rate, I started loking for a reason and found in the aircraft.cfg [electrical] section that the line additional_system = 0, 47.5 , 17.0 as you see is taking 47.5 A (dont know where this value comes from) , that is incorrect , looking at other AC and the SDK max values are 5, then I reduced the value to 0, 2 , 17.0 and the problem goes away. Does anyone know if Carenado plans on releasing a paintkit outside of the sliced-up blank, white texture? I'd like to think I'm an average and relatively-experienced repainter, but man....it's going to be a royal pain with such a fragmented dds/bmp file.

Folks I need some clarification please. I purchased the PC12 today from Carenado site so I presume my download includes the SP1 even though my account info shows an upgrade is available? I have been reading about all the community mods and not quite sure if I need them if I got SP1 installed? Is it better to run the RTM version and manually apply the community mods or do you still need the community mods even with SP1 installed? Any guidance would be much appreciated!

Just bought this aircraft (was already flying the Flight 1 PC-12). My frame rates are now better and I find that the flight dynamics are better on the Carenado model. Obviously, there are a lot of "bugs" as pointed in this forum. My question: - the Carenado promotion talks about "cold and dark" option as well as "Customizable panel for controlling windows transparency, instrument reflections and static elements such as wheel chocks and sights props". Well, I cannot find these options ! Does anyone have any idea how to active this ? I have searched all PDF, looked for "clickable" areas, etc thank you Jean-Marc

So I am going to send Carenado my bug / fix list. This is what I have so far. 1) Cockpit and cabin flood lights have to be separated. There is a cabin flood switch - It should work. 2) Top GPS does not work when the panel lights are on. 3) Standby Altimeter incorrect. 4) I am not getting the EFIS startup /Alignment boot screens when I switch the AV to on. Anyone want to add anything?
