PC12 FSX | P3D

Hi can someone here tell me how do i get hold off Bert to get his modification for the auto pilot for the F1 pc-12? ty.

Just took my first test flight and found that in comparsion to the previous PC-12 by Flight1, there really is no comaparison. given this is not the NG version it is well done, maybe the best flight modelling I have bought from Carenado. The one problem I have witnessed so far is I am losing the top Garmin 530 (i think). It starts up fine in pre-flight but shortly after it just goes dark. It may take a few more hours to detect any more problems, and I look forward to any other contributors.

Just wondering if anyone was willing to take on one or two Planesense Inc. paints (the paint is the same just the reg changes) for this PC-12? I'm completely amazed that with the popularity of the PC-12, no one has yet done a repaint representing the worlds largest PC-12 operator? To be honest, Carenado should have included it with the plane at its release. But whatever. If there is already one out there that I'm not aware of, maybe someone can point me to it? I used to but lately the only way I can start it is through the popup and ready to taxi Any ideas what's going on. Maybe I need a new install

I just purchased the PC12 and not able to install it. I thought they were all compatible with Preapr3D v3. John

Anyone still doing paints for the PC-12? I'm wondering if anyone may be able to give Tradewind a try? Tradewind operates PC-12's in the Caribbean. If you search online for N590TW you will find a host of photos.

I got the airplane today. Really enjoyable. Not sure about the engine sounds, though. The inside the cabin alert sounds are quite loud by comparison...really loud. I'd rather not buy an engine soundset so I'm hoping I have something that is at least okay to try. I have the C208, DHC6, PA46T and the Duke Turbine...are any of them close? Gregg

I am considering purchasing the PC-12 during the Christmas sale. Am I correct that Autogyro's 1.8 mod does not include integration of the GTN750? If so, is there a downloadable mod for the GTN 750 similar to the one for the Phenom 300 and does it work on top of Autogyro's mods?

I get no sound from either the Fire or Shaker test switches. The lamp test is OK as are all the other switches. I raised this issue a while ago and since then have followed most if not all of the threads/forums dealing with the PC12s sounds but never found a solution. Some other users have also written about the same issue. The wav files for both switches are in the sound folder and play OK. However, unlike many of the other switch sounds they do not appear in the sound cfg. I have tried adding an entry in the cfg to bring the sound alive but without success. I've almost given up any hope of solving the problem but just thought I would give it another shot. Is th…

I know this is a bit of an old chestnut but previous threads here on this subject have not been too helpful. I realise that in US many or most VOR/NDB approaches are now made with the GPS. Thing is that this is not the case in many other parts of the world, notably GB and Europe. If I am using a VOR approach plate which has timed approach descents on a VOR there seems no way to fly this accurately in the PC12. Even with the GTN750 I cannot find a way to get a DME reading. I just get the distance/time to the next waypoint. Have I missed something obvious? I'd be grateful for advice. John

Has anyone been able to install the new Flight1 GNS 530 into the PC12? I would install the GTN 750 but I'm not a big fan of it being overlapped on the 530 screens and the Carenado 530 is just awful. Anyone tried landings like that in their Carenado PC12 yet? Pretty interesting approach even when using slower GA, so I can't imagine how fast everything must happen when you're running a turboprop.

Apologies if this has been covered in the past, but have any of you tried to use the Saitek Multipanel with the Carenado PC12? I've replaced the Saitek software with SPAD and have had great success with using the different Saitek panels with add on aircraft such as A2A's C172. I also use the purchased version of FSUIPC. It pretty much works all the buttons and switches using FSUIPC Offset Change settings. The Carenado PC12, not so much. I've tried some assignments using FSUIPC Virtual Buttons in SPAD, but haven't found a combination that works.

I have in it p3d v3.3.5 and I've had one OOM with it and just had it freeze/lockup my computer anyone else have problems with this? I'm about ready to delete it.

I could not install PC-12, do not know what's going on, I want to install in FSX Steam, there it was mistakenly installed but I had to reinstall FSX Steam and now I want to install it I get this System: Win 8.1, FSX Steam

So I've got the local GTN mods, and v1.8 overhaul from the wonderful folks here at avsim. I'm really not thinking my IAS mode is working right though. My routine is: Set FD and Nav or Hdg on runway Takeoff, engage AP, clean up aircraft Hold 130-140kts Hit IAS, then dial altitude and hit arm When I do the above the airspeed will continue to decrease until I take it out of IAS, gain more airspeed and hit it again. The second time it will usually hold a steady speed at 10-25kts faster than I have set. Am I doing something wrong or is this typical behavior from the IAS mode??

Having to reinstall several time the PC12 after HDD crash, windows 10 upgrade, P3D FSX-SE install and other installation problems, now the installer show a message that i have used the registration key too many time. I bought this plane from the flightsimstore on december 2014 order #FSS0337287. I asked them and they send me to this forum. How can i get a new registration key please ? Thank you.

Hello all, I wanted to make a post where everyone call poll together their observations on issues and bug found to see if we can get them fixed by Carenado or find a way to mend them on our own. I know I plan on personally tinkering with a few things to see if I can improve upon them. I feel that the PC-12 is a very good foundation and can, with a small amount of effort, be an excellent version for sim pilots to enjoy. I've spent a bit of time fooling around with the xml gauges and aircraft.cfg files to try and tweak the Carenado PC12. I know Nick's been working on a proper solution, however in his current absence, I'm happy to share my findings. I don't really have a good understanding of the interaction of the .air file's EGT and ITT changes, however visually I'm trying to fix up the gauge readings so at least you can adjust the throttle positions based on ITT and throttle readings when at altitude. Does anybody have any good information sources for ITT vs fuel flow vs torque at different attitudes and altitudes? At present I am just working off the Carenado Performance Ta…
