PC12 FSX | P3D

Hi gang, is there a workaround to get the yaw damper to work independently of the autopilot? Since downloading the new flight dynamics, I can't get the YD to engage until the AP is engaged, and then they both pop off at the same time when AP is disengaged. I'd like to set the YD on initial climb when hand flying to keep the people in the back from puking on the way out of KEGE. 🙂 Thanks for any answers/help.

I was windering whether anybody had any accurate pdf files or tables about the correct torque and power settings for for PC12 in various phases of flight for things such as take off, climb and landing etc. Or, are there any android apps or anything that helps us to calculate them? Thanks!

What’s the descent rate all of you are using?

Good morning, I have recently reformatted my PC and reinstalled Carenado PC-12 with the GTN750 complete and Berts panel. All runs okay until I need to import a flight plan made in little nav map. I went to add the flight plan into programdata/Garmin/Trainer/GTN/FLPN which I believe is the default and the correct folder to place it in? However, there is no GTN/FLPN folder. I can only find programdata/Garmin/Trainer folder. Therefore, how do I fix this or am I looking in the wrong area to place the gfp file into so it can be read by the GTN750? Thanks in advance. I just updated P3d v4.5 with the latest hotfix2 and know in the vc of the pc12 overhead panels I’ve lost the labels on the buttons. They stay black all the time. It’s very difficult to see if I have my lights and icing on etc. they don’t light up. Also on the pedestal when I turn on my label lights they go black. I hope someone can help me any ideas? Maybe a reinstall of the pc12?

This has been driving me nuts ever since I got this plane which was when it was released. Is it: 1 PILL - LAY - TUHS or 2 PILL - LAH - TUHS or 3 something else entirely if #3 then what is it?

Is there any news about if Carenado are going to add a G1000 to their PC12 HD SERIES for FSX? If Carendo have no plans to add a G1000, has anyone had success with manually adding either a FS2x(http://www.fs2x.com/G1000%20Web%20Page.htm) G1000 or a Mindstar(http://www.mindstaraviation.com/Product_G1000.html) G1000 to the Carenado Pilatus PC-12?

Hi Just downloaded the latest PC-12 installer from simmrket which should be P3Dv4 compatible and installed it into P3Dv4.4 twice. Download and installation went fine, Windows10 defender deactivated, but every installation showed no vc textures, just the instruments, the vc body transparent. Does anybody know the reason for this effect and a remedy? Thanks for any help! Best regards Ernst

I recently bought the PC12 and discovered that the "PC12_Cabin_alt" is the FSX version 32b. I am runing Prepar3DV4 which complains : [error.280] error=C-style gauge failed to load: G:\Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\Airplanes\Carenado PC12\panel\PC12_Cabin_alt.dll, Gauge: C340_PRESS. DLL is 32 bit. A 64 bit version is required. I have open a ticket at Carenado support site, but the answer is as usual... and after insisting... Does other Prepar3d user have the same issue and in that case, would open a ticket ... Thanks Gérard

I bought the PC 12, which was on sale, as well as the Flight 1 GTN 750. The integration that Carenado provides works flawlessly. However, I was wondering whether there are any additional mods that work with FSX Steam. Bert's mods are advertised for P3D. My second question is: is there a mod that also integrates the GTN 650 into the panel (again for FSX Steam). Thanks!

Good morning all, I thought with the Carenado Black Friday Sale I would purchase the PC-12 for cheap. I have installed by Flight1 GTN using the installer in the PC-12 folder however I was wondering if there was a way to replace COMM2 with the GTN 650? Many thanks, TG

I have the PC-12 since 2017 and know it quite well. Yesterday, I took it out for the first flight since upgrading from P3Dv4.3 to 4.4: no problem flying by hand, but as soon as autopilot was active it went mad with wild vertical and horizontal oscillations. As always, I trimmed to the desired climb rate and put it on course before I activated the autopilot. Any ideas? Michael

Some users have noticed that turning the radio tuning knob on the RXP GTN 750 in the VC can also cause the GNS530 to change its display pages. If this is affecting you, contact me via PM for a fix. Or, if you want to edit the GNS530 xml gauges (VC and popup) yourself: Search for the <Keys> section and comment it out, or delete it.

Hello folks, Yesterday i bought Carenado's Pilatus pc12 for p3dv4. I think i can't manage to get the weather radar working although i have As16 running. Flying trough thick doesn't show anything on the integrated avidyne radar screen. Do i have to direct the radar to the install path of As16 or something? Or does the radar only show very severe thunderstorms? Cheers Robin Goddyn

I experienced this on several occasions where the engine just dies randomly midflight. If I restart the ignition, I can usually save the flight. Any idea what is causing this?
