Hi, with A2A aircrafts and with their installer program (i do not tinker any thing), the 430 works fine, and the 530 freezes after few second. All time, since i bought your GPS, the 530 have this same issue. Not solved, today.

I purchased the G1000 add-on for my FSX steam two days ago, and activated it using the codes received by mail. But upon selecting both C172 & C182, PFD is black and shows "gague is not registered" and does not function at all. Is this somekind of an registration issue? Best Regards, Josh

I purchased the Mindstar G530/G430 and would like to purchase the RealNav data package. I realize Mindstar does not provide RealNav support but the latter's support page is out of service. The RealNav order menu requests a DB-Key and provides an example for the G1000 and states the key can be found from the vendor's (Mindstar) software. My question is where can the G530/G430 DB-Key be found? Thanks / Les Parson

I have been having a problem with the Flight1 P3D Mustang causing P3Dv3.1 to freeze solid on loading the aircraft and the only way out is to kill P3D using the Windows task manager. The problem only occurs when the Mindstar G1000 is installed on the system! Completely deinstalling the G1000 permanently was the only solution I could find which enabled me to use the Mustang! It made no difference in which order I installed the two packages - the result was always a complete freezing of P3D so long both packages were installed at the same time. Seeing that the P3D Mustang has only recently been released (the problem is not present in FSX) I asked in the Mustang Forum whet…

Hello I have been trying to load the GNS530430 into the Milviz C310. I have made the necessary entries in the .cfg, I use the Milviz mindstar GNS installer. When trying the run the loaded aircraft in FSX I get the failed to load hypergauge. I installed all with admin rights. any way out of this would be appreciated Evelyn

Greetings, I have just recently acquired the GNS430/530 and I'm new to the Mindstar family. I have this burning question that I can't seem to find the answer for. Will I be notified when its time to update my quarterly data cycle for my the home license version, or will it be updated automatically, or shall I just try to update it when I think its time, or what? Oh, and by the way, are there any known conflict issues with having RealNav for Mindstar, and the NavData for X-plane on the same computer system. I seem to have mislaid the instruction for fitting the Mindstar G1000 into the Carenado C90. The supplied abbreviated version of the Honeywell system is woeful. Could someone kindly point me to, or post the installation directions. Most grateful.

After successfully activating the GNS430/530 program, I started FSX-steam and selected the Cessna 172 where the installation defaulted to. All seemed well until this popup screen appeared below: Mindstar Gauge MPI Gauge: Failed to Load SimConnect Interface DLL C:\Program Files (x86)\Mindstar\Flight Sinulator Addons\iSimConnect.dll Error Code 14001 "[OK] button" And the GNS430/530 was not available for the selected aircraft. I recently purchased Mindstar GNS430/530 and I'm having trouble finishing the installation. I went into the mindstar folder and found the folder named tools. There is an application called "regjump", but there is no program called "SimRegEdit", so I went into the regedit the normal way, and exported the keys in question to a safe place after creating a restore point.. Hi, I recently made the switch from FSX boxed version to FSX steam and when installing the G430/530, I got a message stating "The Windows Registry points to FSX Steam and Microsoft FSX in the same folder. This installation cannot continue until this is corrected" Any suggestions on properly fixing this problem?

Hey Ed, could you confirm which simconnect version the hypergauge.dll is calling in P3Dv2/3? Ran into a problem with bglmanx.dll crashes (FSDT addon manager .dll) when loading aircraft with the GNS 530/430 installed. Turns out if I move the hypergauge.dll call AFTER the bglmanx.dll in dll.exe everything works hunky dory. FSDT seems to think (see this thread), it's a simconnect version conflict of some sort. They're calling the FSX SP2 Simconnect which apparently contains some functions (Simconnect_text() in particular) that aren't in the FSX RTM version. Thinking is that if an older version of simconnect is called first, the FSX SP2 version can't load for some reason…

I've run into an issue whilst trying to reinstall the Mindstar G1000 package on a computer where I had completely deinstalled it having deleted the license using the 'delete license' radio button in the process. Now I receive an error message when going through the registration steps: "The server issued activation codes, but they did not work on your computer. Either try again or contact technical support" I tried repeatng the registration steps a few times but always got this message as the only result... I didn't have this problem the first time I installed - before deleting the license. Have I missed something along the way? Regards Simon

Just a small tribute to the Mindstar, the Twotter, Kronzkys enhanced gps w/ terrain awareness (freeware) and FTX NOR... Thx to Ed for helping me get the Mindstar up and running in the Carenado and the Twotter - simming is great! Weather was horrible today at the easter coast of Norway. ENFA is a VFR field, so I had to go below the clouds at KVB and proceed VFR from there. If you happen to visit ENFA one day, please imagine that in the Twotter (2 hours on that thing) and a gusting crosswind... pheeew... That would not have happened in real life! Hi everybody. i just uninstalled the 1.08.0005 and installed the 1.08.0015 in my p3d v2.5, because i had some problems with this verion, hoping that they are fixed now. But now i have new issues. Installation was fine. no problems. i put the GNS into my carenado C340. When i tested first it freezed when i tried to load an activate a flightplan. I mean the Gauge freezes, not the sim. So i wanted to test only with a direct to a waypoint. Rekindling my love for P3D after an extended stay over at X-Plane and I'm in the market for a good GPS. I'm shying away from the Flight1 GTN750 option because I like to keep my GA instrumentation at least a little believable. Look at a gallery of pictures of GA cockpits and you'll more often than not see a GNS430 or it's larger brother. I'm also shying away from the Flight1 offering as I often read that it's a dead product. I've been trying to install the Mindstar GNS530 in the Realair Duke V2 Piston for some time now, and I can't seem to figure it out. I've gotten close, but now I'm having other problems with clickspots, and fitting the gauge into the panel. The 2D popup works perfectly. This is what the instrument looks like so far: I've been editing the panel.cfg file to make the Mindstar 530 fit into the bezel, but I can't move it any more to the left, which is where I need it to go. After a bit of a hiatus with my sim, I've recently rebuilt it on Windows 10 with P3D v3.1. I re-purchased the Mindstar GNS 430/530 package today (because I lost the email with the original invoice number in, sometimes I'm an idiot). Installation seemed to proceed normally (from the GNS_Setup_1.08.0014.exe installer), and I installed the 530 into my Carenado Cessna Skymaster that I'd had it installed and working in many moons ago -- that was back around P3D v2 (or maybe 2.5). Hello, I purchased the G1000 software a few weeks ago and have successfully got the panel working in the 3D cockpit without problems. What I'm trying to do now is to switch from VC to 2D pop up panels for the PFD and MFD. For some reason the panels don't pop up. I've enclosed my entire panel.cfg in the hopes there is something glaring that I'm missing. Window 02 and 03 I've tried using and simply just swapping out the ident and gauge tags for the Mindstar ones to no avail. Window 09 I also created as my own custom pop up window but that does not work either. Also, I'm running P3D v3.1, and like I said at the beginning of this post, I have this successf…
