I have yet to find a way to enter Victor Airways in the G1000 emulator software. Is there an update coming soon? The data is already with RealNav data so this would be a very helpful function for the IFR pilots.

Hello, Since my reinstallation, I used a few days ago normaly the GNS 430 in my planes (A2A cherokee and Archer III Just Flight) but now I can't display the MAP. What can I do ?

I have been trying to install the Mindstar G1000 in the Simaddon Electra L10. I am using the boxed FSX in Windows 7. I have it going, but whenever I try to enter a flight plan, FSX crashes after I enter the first waypoint. I have not had this problem with other G1000 that I have installed in this place. Any ideas?

I recently bought the Mindstar G1000 and I'm very impressed with it, but I'm having a problem with stuttering that's making it unusable. I see a similar thread from about a year ago, but I don't see how it was resolved. I've got a modest system, but it's able to run most high-end aircraft (PMDG, Eaglesoft, Flight1) well. Here are my specs: Dell laptop Intel Core i5-5200U, 2.2GHz Intel HD Graphics 5500 8 GB RAM Win 8.1 64 bit I run FSX SP2 w/ FSUIPC, TrackIR, Active Sky Evolution, full-screen on a second monitor. Hello everyone, Just wondering if someone would be able to help me setting up the KAP140 autopilot. I am just after a simple 2D pop up for the Carenado 208b. I am using p3d v3.1 On the mindstar website there is a good explanation of setting up the G1000 and the GNS30/530 however the link to retrofitting the KAP140 doesn't seem to work. I have a basic understanding of panel.cfg and aircraft.cfg etc. Im assuming I need to make a entry in the panel.cfg linking it to the KAP140 gauge but thats as far as I can get. I am sorry if this has been covered in the past already but I couldnt find any entries in the forum relating to retrofitting the autopilot. Cheers

Mindstar, I fly various C172's IRW and purchased this application because I thought that it modelled the real-life 430/530. From all that I can see, this is really nothing more than a re-skinned default GPS. The GPS Map display looks absolutely nothing like the real one, and there is no terrain modeling. The airport info pages are not correct (I bought the RealData subscription too). You cannot create a flight plan, or if you can, I can't figure it out and there's no documentation for it. This does not allow you to do WAAS approaches. In all, I feel that I wasted $50 on a product that is nothing more than a bezel for the FSX/P3D default GPS. So I wonder, …

I have the Mindstar 430 working well in PC12. (Single installation). In two recent flights the unit has frozen (completely) when checking for duplicate waypoints. My frame rates are not great (no fault of the unit) but I wondered if you have any other suggestions? Failing that can I reboot unit in flight if power buttons are frozen? P3dV3. Windows 8.0. Hello, I can't reinstall my realnav data subcription on my new PC. When I launch realnavdataupdate.exe, it dos'ent find my subscription. I tried to change the dbkey in simsupporter0exe but I failed. How can I do ?

I was wondering if it would be possible to have a sub-forum for completed panel retrofits created by users. This would be nice so that the end user could quickly look to see if their aircraft has been retrofitted with either the G1000 or GNS units. I am an experienced user but editing the panel with trial and error for placement is beyond my experience level. This forum would be just for panel retrofits and not for usage or technical or troubleshooting questions. Mike

Good Evening Ed, I have just recently purchased P3Dv3.1 and wanted to install the G1000 PFD and Audio Panel as a pop up panel for the Flight1 B200. First things first, I know people are probably wondering why I am asking this as the F1 B200 already has a G1000. Well, Im planning a simpit based on this aircraft, and it only allows 1 PFD ( the pilots ) to be displayed as a 2D popup. You also cannot remove the bezels. It also does not have an audio panel pop-up. Hence I want the Mindstar G1000 PFD's and Audio Panels set up for both pilot and copilot. Hello, I'm in the process of building a G1000 cockpit to continue my IFR training. I plan on implementing most of the buttons and knobs using LUA and an Arduino. My question is if the G1000 software from Mindstar is supported using WideFS. I couldn't seem to find exactly my answer using the Search function so I apologize if this question has already been answered. For what it's worth, I'm planning on using P3Dv3 with this. thanks!

Please forgive the truly'noob' question,but On some screens when I press the menu button I get a green menu with options to change in it. HOW do I scroll to different options? The mouse wheel doesn't have an effect and the cursor knob doesn't appear to do anything either. Since this are items tied to the sim usage I just had to ask here. On the actual equipment use: Is there a recommended text somewhere on the web to use as a tutorial? Thanks in advance!

Is there an .ini control that will turn off the bezel completely ( not just hide controls and leave black space) and just show the lcd screen so I can incorporate into an emuteq hardware? Thank you Brian Pollock

Hello I unistalled and deactivate the licences either for G1000 and GNSs before reinstalling my OS, did a fresh install of the OS (W10 x64) Installed for the first time FSX Steam standallone and P3D V2 (nothing else before) reinstalling for the first time both g1000 and GNSs, at the end I get the following message: windows registry points to fsx steam and Microsoft FSX in the same folder. the installation cannot continue until this is corrected. I dont have estonia migration tool, nor edited the registry. FSX Steam stand allone (no ms fsx DVD installed before) your Simregedit tool shows no issues and correct paths. what can I do? Hi I have problem using KAP 140 , couple days ago the gauge worked fine, but yesterday the gauge started saying that Gauge is not Registered. I have reinstalled plane many times yesterday, i found that when i renamed Prepar3d.exe to FSX.exe, gauge works fine, but when i rename gauge back to Prepar3d.exe, gauge not work? Where should i start to find fix for this problem?

Hello. Can anybody recommend a Cessna C208 Grand Caravan model that will work with the Mindstar G1000. I have tried to use the Carenado offering but not all features worked (engine output for a start). Else where on this forum it has been noted that Carenado software doesn't work with the Mindstar G1000 by design.

The following Saturday I found the number, however I still could not install because I had reached the activation limit. I then sent another e-mail to your support address. Hello and Happy New Year. I am experiencing a curious problem with the RealAir Duke B60 and the Mindstar GNS530. I currently have the RealAir panel configured (via their configurator) for the RealityXP 530 and have modified it to swap the RXP gauge for the Mindstar 530 (I have a dummy rxpGNS.dll in my gauges folder). This allows the gauge to properly display in the VC, however the hotspot does not seem to work properly. By contrast, if I configure the Duke for the default GNS 500 and make the same edits to the panel.cfg, the hotspot works correctly but the gauge does not display correctly in the VC. Hi, I recently encountered an issue with my GNS530/430. It worked flawlessly up until a few days ago when I started to have some issues entering my flightplan. After typing in a waypoint (Let's say TAB) and clicking ENT, the waypoint is identified as Crown Point NDB, when I press ENT again nothing happens. WHen I checked the FPL page, the waypoint was not entered at all. I tried to re-enter the waypoint using the same method but Just to be sure, I pushed the ENT key one more time and sure enough, nothing happens. When I push the FPL key, I see that my waypoint is entered twice. So now I have to enter all my waypoints in this manner by entering the flightplan and d…
