Hello everyone, I am trying to figure out an issue I have had for some time with my setup. I am running the G1000 PFD and MFD screens in popup windows so they can each be displayed on individual screens but the G1000 remains powered on no matter what state the Master switches (Battery or Avionics) are in. As soon as the aircraft is loaded the G1000 powers up. I have an Advanced license because I am using hardware to interface with the sim and the aircraft I am using it in is the A2A C182. I should mention that I do have the "Accusim=YES" parameter in my G1000.ini file. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi! Thanks for a good product. A couple of things I stumbled upon was the ADF needle stutters when tracking. It's really hard to fly ndb approaches with the stuttering. Is there something you can look into? One other thing is I fly in europe where pressure is measured in QNH 1013 for standard. The G1000 seems to have inches 29.92. I can see it in the display unit settings but I'm not able to change those, only data fields. So how can I change to have the qNH in 1013 . I use Win 10 with FSX-Acceleration, and G1000 product Thanks in advance and hope we can solve this Best regards Jimmy Gradin

Hello everyone, I've recently become interested in the Mindstar G1000. All of the functionality and how it compares to its real world counterpart is astounding. But, before I pulled the trigger I just wanted to know: 1. Is the G1000 able to perform user defined unpublished holds as in the Real World G1000 and Cirrus Perspective System? 2. I have added the GNS530/430 to a Carenado T210 and in the VC everything works great and all displays are fine. When I click on the display of the 530 I get the GPS window pop-up but the screen is blank. The controls on the pop-up control the VC screen, but no display on the pop-up. Hello. Doing a clean install on an updated OS, same machine. Installed the G1000. Whenever I open a mindstar G1000 aircraft I get an error on the PFD: ADVANCED LICENSE REQUIRED REASON CODE: 16 This is a home simulator, no commercial use whatsoever. Not sure how to proceed

P3D v3 started crashing for me today when I try to load an A2A C172 with Mindstar GNS430. It has been running fine for a couple of years until today. The C172 without Mindstar loads fine. I'm running Windows 10. Any idea how to fix this?

Hi, I have just bought the MindStar G1000 Simulator and had it installed in Prepar3D v3.4. After playing it around for a short while, I have already found many problems. For your reference, I used the default navigation database and with MindStar C172 G1000 without GFC which should simulate Cessna NAVIII option. I have been using the GNS 530 for a while now with no issues. I have not entered a flight plan until now. When I go to FPL and start entering a waypoint the gauge freezes. The timing varies. Sometimes it happens as I'm scrolling though the letters other times when I'm confirming entry of waypoint. It even let me enter the first waypoint once, and then it became unresponsive. The aircraft is a Carenado 210, with only Mindstar 530/430 stack installed. I use it in VC mode, popping up the unit to enter data. When it becomes unresponsive none of the buttons work, and if I hide the pop-up, the VC version screen remains black. I try using the 430 and it is also unresponsive…

Hi, I'm trying to install the Mindstar GNS430 and HSI into Carenado PA34 Seneca II. Everything works fine, except the HSI has a NAV flag and CDI is not getting a signal in either VLOC or GPS mode. Autopilot steers ok in both modes. No signal from 430 to the HSI. The C172 panel works fine in all modes. Heading Card rotates, OBS rotates, Heading Bug Rotates, but needle is always centered with a NAV flag. (FSX Steam, Windows 10.) Any ideas? Thanks.

Hello, I'm having problems loading a Swedish NDB called "NV". If I try to load it, I get the "Duplicate Waypoints" window, however it just keeps loading. No list of choices appears. If I try to load another Swedish NDB called VNA, I get the list without any problems. I'm using the latest version available as of today. (I downloaded and installed the one available at www.mindstaravaiation.com just an hour ago or so) I ran the installer as administrator and made sure all access rights were correct. After that I reinstalled the latest RealNav AIRAC, however despite my efforts it still get's stuck. I'm convinced it's something with my system that's causing it but just…

Since Prepar3D (from v1) natively supports SIDs and STARs (and their default GPSs (500 and 296) are able to read them) http://www.prepar3d.com/SDKv4/sdk/world/scenery/scenery_overview.html#SIDS and STARS I would like to ask you whether it would be possible to introduce this feature - reading the Prepar3D native SIDs and STARs - into your G1000 and GNSs? Hoping you can help... Purchased, downloaded and installed G1000 without issue onto FSX. Default C172 and M20 showing Mindstar variants as expected. I also have Eaglesoft DA42 installed but don't see the Mindstar G1000 version of it. What am I doing wrong??!!

Ed et al, In approximately 2011 or 2012, I purchased the G1000. It was to be used for the FeelThere Phenom 1000. I never managed to install it properly, or use it and through many installs and re installs I have lost it. Can anyone tell me if that purchase is traceable through a name or/and an email address? As I am concentrating more and more on FS2004,(due to using 6 monitors) I am keen again to try installing into a Baron , the Phenom and a variety of other aircraft. Since there wasn't any real clear example of how to interact between the GNS 530 using C# through SimConnect, I wrote a minimalist example that hopefully will allow others to avoid some of that initial grief and hair pulling. The concept will be the same for the 430 if you use that unit instead. While I don't have the G1000 unit, I'm guessing that it works in a similar manner through the configuration of a .INI file. You can use this example as the stepping stone to connecting up your hardware to the GNS. I wrote this to connect to P3D using the SimConnect 3.2 version of the DLL. In the Barron 58 the engine gauges are still for a single eng. aircraft. Is this a configuration problem. The MS G1000 has multi eng gauges. Also are there turbine engine gauges for twin jet or Caravan.

Hi everyone, I hope you can help me out. I´m trying to map the hardware buttons of the Emuteq GNS 530 to the Mindstar GNS events using FSUIPC offsets. I tried to use Keyboard mappings first but this didn`t work very well, because the GNS window has to be "in focus" for the buttons to work which is not always the case on a multi-monitor setup. So the FSUIPC method seemed more reliable. However, I´m at a loss how to make this work. Hi Ed I have a number of questions please. 1. I cant get the Mindstar GNS530 to automatically sequence to an approach in the flight plan. Is this normal behavior for the Mindstar unit? 2. I cant delete waypoints by selecting and pressing the CLR key in the flight plan, only airports, sometimes. Is this normal behavior for the Mindstar unit? 3. After choosing to display datafields in Nav page 2, is there a way to make the change permanent? Regards Glenn.

Here is a video of the Mindstar GNS software running on a hardware module from Ruscool Electronics in New Zealand. While not that cheap it does provide a fine simulation of the Garmin unit with full hardware activation of all the Mindstar functions. The RNS530 (as Ruscool calls their module) uses a keyboard emulator of sorts built into the unit which sends keystrokes to the sim which is then interpreted by their custom application running in the sim and talking to FSUIPC. Needless to say both the hardware and software have corresponding config files which must match up to activate the functions as can be seen in the video. Yours have most of the functions I need for simulation, so I am happy with it. I purchased your GNS 430/530 package for my A2A planes not long ago. Today Lockheed Martin announced the release or P3D v4 on Tuesday, May 30th at 2pm Eastern Time. Are the Mindstar units compatible and if not will they be made so? If they are not and made so any idea of upgrade pricing?
